Review 1：the stairs were quite narrow and steep. The water when over the entire bathroom floor each time you took a shower.

Review 2：We were given a large family room which was perfect for us. We were quite satisfied with the facilities for what we paid.

Review 3：One guest equals one towel? Come on, surely the hotel can afford one hand towel and one bath towel for each quest. And the staff all leave for the day at 18:00 ?

Review 4：The only reason I would recommend this hotel is its proximity to the ferry terminal - a 10 minute walk.

Review 6：I thought it was a very charming hotel. The young people that worked there were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The location was excellent also. The breakfast was very good and in a nicely decorated room. It was very clean.

Review 11：Beautiful porch in the back. Nice and quiet street. Reception close early, and opens late, but it didn't really matter since they called and gave us the code for the front door and left the key in our room. Only had one night.. Overall ok hotel if you're only sleeping there..

Review 16：The only bad thing I can say about this place is when I booked it via the web, they charged my credit card the full amount 1 full month prior to travel! When I called to inquire, they said they always do this when providing such a good rate. Questionable...as this has never happened anywhere else in my travels.

Review 17：The man (Nico) at the desk was very nice and really helpful. He came up to our room special to say they had just added an American TV station. It also was a great location near the water. The breakfast was fresh and very good. It included eggs and breakfast meats. The waffles were outstanding!

Review 20：In case of changes in travelling for business travelers a preliminary check out is allegedly not refundable, even if it is announced 2 days ahead. This is questionable. Our company will never utilize this establishment anymore. Expensive parking!

Review 31：Informal and familiar atmosphere. Central position in Kristiansand. It is generally difficult to find affordable hotels in Norway, so this is a good find in Kristiansand centre. Serviceable and friendly staff. I had a glimpse (gløtt) of the dawn over the sea in the morning from my window.

Review 37：Ones of us stayed in an apartment and the others in double room. The apartment was very convenient - full furnished kitchen with everything to cook yourself a meal and washing machine, dryer, even Play Station. It was good enough for four people. The double room dough was very small and it was hard to move with some luggage in the room. The hotel is in really nice area next to the seaside and it's in old building so there is a reason about it.

Review 102：A charmig space! Centrally located with the views of the sea from the windows. Nice breakfasts and complimentary wafles and desserts after 7 p.m. Friendly staff. Cozy inner yard. Books and table games provided. We got a two-room apartment on the first floor - it was stylish and comfortable.

Review 108：I had to get the staff to change the sheets and a bulb on arrival. The room was small, and could have done with a bit of smartening up (paint etc). The price seemed to be fair for Norway standards, but compared to other countries will seem expensive for the quality of the room.

Review 109：Nice hotel. Great staff. Had a couple of problems on arrival but the staff sorted them out very quickly. Enjoyed the free do it yourself waffles available in the evening. The location is great. 5 mins walk from castle, beach, shopping street, cliff/wood walkways, and picturesque "fish market" full of restaurants. All that, and the street is also quiet, so no distubances at night.
