Reviews for Kibala Hotel

Review 1:We found Kibala to be a relaxing, comfortable place to stay, the perfect base for a week pottering around by the beach. We especially loved the lush garden and the excellent food.

Review 2:Bathroom could benefit from an update but was certainly adequate.

Review 3:Quiet and peaceful, just what we needed after hectic pace of travel. Very comfortable bed.

Review 4:From the moment we arrived we immediately loved it. We extended our stay as it ticked all the boxes. Great spot, shot stroll to the beach and very convenient for getting to Chimaera or Olympus. Lovely chilled out vibe and host with the most - amazing meals and extremely accommodating. Can't wait to go back!

Review 5:I've never stayed anywhere so relaxing, so simple and natural and yet where everything I could want was at hand. Such sweet, genuinely caring service from Bulent and his staff. Fantastic food, wonderful music.

Review 6:Because Kibala is so small (just six bungalows), it feels more like a homestay than a hotel. The owner, Bulent, is present on the premises and nothing is too much trouble for him. The location is perfect: Kibala is on the main road leading to the beach but a thick green wall shields the bungalows from noise and prying eyes. Bungalows are set far apart from one another for extra privacy. 10 min max to the beach. No cocks or hens around, no one crows at 4 am! The breakfast spread changes every day and includes fresh orange juice, eggs and Turkish coffee.

Review 7:Cirali is a beautiful chilled destination and the Kibala Hotel is equally beautiful and chilled. The setting is beautiful with the 'rooms' situated in a beautiful orchard of citrus, pomegranate and apple trees. The breakfast is outstanding and kept us filled up until supper time. Supper at the hotel is wonderful, simple fresh Turkish cuisine. Loved everything about Cirali and the Kibala Hotel

Review 8:We had a sensational stay at Kibala. We arrived late after a long delay at the airport, and were welcomed with a delicious fresh dinner, relaxing music, and the friendly comfort that is the way of Kibala. Over our stay, we continued to relax, and Bulent and his family gave us super suggestions for activities. The highlight was definitely the three dinners we ate there, such tasty Turkish cooking, a real treat!

Review 9:We had a great time. The owner and staff are absolutely the best. So warm and welcoming the whole time with lovely smiles and very polite. Always asking us if everything was ok. The food is amazing. Breakfast was perfect. Everything fresh and such a great assortment of many homegrown and homemade items. They even made us a food pack as we departed really early in the morning. Dinner which you can order if you let them know you want to eat there in advance is a good idea. Really good food and a lot of it. The dining area for breakfast and dinner is lovely. The room was perfect for two people. Air conditioner was amazing to sleep with, as it was very hot. Shower & bathroom was great. Everything was clean & comfortable. We didn't use it, but the minibar was very well stocked. Hammocks outside were nice, and a washing line behind our cabin / bungalow was handy. The location off the main area was good, nice and quiet. An easy 10-15 minute walk to the sea. They provide bikes for free if you want to ride around instead. We would definitely recommend Kibala, especially for a couple or small group of friends who want to feel relaxed in a peaceful setting. Thanks.

Review 10:Didn't feel the owner was very hospitable. Forgot to setup a cake in the room for my husbands birthday when I had requested it weeks in advance. Also when we advised we didn't want to have dinner there as we wanted to eat in town, we felt we were then treated differently. The grounds are clean and nice, but for the price you pay there are much nicer properties in the area and at cheaper rates. Beach is not near so unless you have a car, this location is further away.

Review 11:great breakfast!

Review 12:We could find no fault with our stay.

Review 13:Every morning we were utterly spoiled with a delicious breakfast of olives, bread, cheeses, chutney, and fresh fruits picked from Bulent's garden. The room was a gorgeous and secluded cabin set in a lush garden and the staff were always a delight.

Review 14:Having to go home.

Review 15:A warm welcome at 6am! A very tranquil, peaceful place to stay. Just a short walk from the restaurants and beaches. Bulent and his staff were very kind, the food and service was excellent throughout.

Review 16:Kibala is a very hippyish place, as is the whole village of Cirali; the moment you set foot there, you are enveloped in this 'peace on earth' feeling with all the fruit trees, swinging hammocks, nicely decorated divans, tree-houses and this very special laziness that hot weather usually induces. It's a perfect setting for a perfect holiday. On a less poetic note, I must say that the chalet we stayed in was very nice, clean, quiet with an enormous bed and comfortable pillows. I am not a good sleeper but slept very well while there. It was cleaned daily, all the equipment was in good working order, WiFi was good although you don't need much of it there. Breakfasts and dinners in Kibala were not of a routine nature: each of our 10 breakfasts was plentiful and different with all sorts of meats, local cheeses, tomato-cucumber salad, pastry, three varieties of home-made jams plus fresh and dried fruit. Everything is served nicely to your table, you don't have to move your finger which I personally appreciated a lot!We dined in on four occasions but definitely should have done it more often not only because for 15 euros you get a six course exquisitely prepared meal (drinks are extra) , but because nowhere in local tavernas you get this amazing feeling of being properly looked after, and the music was always quite delightful too.Bulent the owner was a pleasure to talk to, a fount of knowledge and good tips on where to go to and what to see, he arranged practically everything for us, and his three-member team were also very attentive and helpful. I travelled with my husband but i am sure it would be a safe place to relax for a solo female traveller. You are in good hands in Kibala.

Review 17:We were looking for a quiet haven and we found it at the Kibala Hotel. The meals were exquisite, especially the dinners. What I especially liked was that each dinner was a surprise. There was no menu. One dish followed another and each was delicious.

Review 18:Visitors to Cirali / Olympos should be aware that there is no ATM machine in town or anywhere for miles around - make sure you prepare and bring adequate cash with you. Most restaurants accept credit cards but for taxis, excursions and smaller transactions cash is preferred.

Review 19:Fantastic service from a small, tightly-knit and efficient staff. Bülent, the proprietor, was an excellent host. Delicious, fresh organic meals at reasonable rates. Fast WiFi and comfortable rooms in a peaceful, cool and established garden setting. Easy walk to the Cirali beachfront, shops and restaurants.

Review 20:Lots of noisy dogs barking in the night - but this would be true of any hotel in the neighbourhood.

Review 21:Very helpful manager. Good dinner and breakfast. Nice location - bungalows among the trees.

Review 22:There was nothing to dislike!

Review 23:The manager and his assistant were very warm and helpful with everything we required. His cooking was also excellent. A lovely peaceful and natural environment.

Review 24:nice wooden bungalows with terasse in a beautiful garden ,delicious breakfast

Review 25:Loved the garden setting, small scale , attention to detail, great food. We were made to feel very welcome.

Review 26:Friendly folk, lovely setting, clean and private.

Review 27:Proximity to road

Review 28:Lovely surroundings ( lush garden )

Review 29:The staff was very nice, most kind, attentive and friendly. Theatmosphere was very romantic, perfect for a romantic getaway. The foodwas delicious, traditional very well cooked Turkish food.

Review 30:Wifi signal wasn't great (kept dropping out) in our cabin which was furthest away from the main area.

Review 31:Beautiful location and the food was incredibly tasty - if you go you should stay for dinner at least 1 night. Staff were lovely and very helpful.

Review 32:It was a very enjoyable stay, the location is beatiful, breakfast and dinner very good.

Review 33:Charming accommodations in beautiful setting. Gracious, accommodating hosts. Nearby beach is fantastic. Good value.

Review 34:Very quiet, friendly staff, outstanding food and service, comfortable rooms, beautiful environment. Close to beach and places of interest.
