Review 1：The bathroom was tiny, frugal and poor. Nowhere to put ones things, noteven a peg! No el-socket at all. In the big room there were many, butthen there was no mirror! Where would you dry your hair or shave? Thehotel was difficult to find according to suggested itinerary, as therewas no turning left when told to, and the city is a maze of one-way-streets and pedestrian areas. We drove around for a long time, evengetting more frustrated when finding another Thon's hotel we hadnever seen before at quite another address.

Review 7：The resturant made the room smell like a deep fat fryer until they cloesed at midnight. The breakfast, in the same resturant, was not very good. All the breads was dry, like they were re-heated, and the scrambeled eggs tasted of dried egg.

Review 9：Ex: comfort of bed and bedcloth! And the coffee-machine! And the stuff for freshing up clothes and shoes! Suggestion: maybe we could get 8-10 bags of coffe and later get charged, just like paying for stuff taken from a minibar? In mornings, waking up and experience forgetting buying ex bags for coffe the night before......my head-:(

Review 10：Just arrived in the underground parking we were hit by a powerful smell of deep fried chips. The elevator is and it feels old. In the room the smell was different, it smelled of old or maybe of mold (I could not find any). The bed is acceptable. The internet connection is sufficient for streaming at 720p. We stayed in the hotel only for 7-8 hours before the departure of the ferry to Denmark so we did not utilize others features of the hotel. In my opinion the hotel should have no more than two stars with a much lower price tag (I payed approximative 130€ for two persons including breakfast plus 30€ for one night in the smelly underground parking).

Review 11：The up point of the hotel are the staff that is very friendly, the breakfast that is divers and tasty, and the Wifi connection wich is good.

Review 12：WEnt with another couple and at first we were on the same floor according to the maid. when we booked in the other couple they ended up on another floor. Would have been nice to have the rooms together. However it didnt spoil our stay.

Review 13：bathroom could have been cleaner..You could very easily see that it had been a while since it last was washed thoroughly, and there was traces of dirt in corners..Also the fridge was full of stuff the prior guest had left, like strawberries and cream..

Review 15：At check-in we were told the double room we had booked was unavailable, and that an extra bed was put into a single room for us instead. That's fine, but at least offer a discount. No gesture at all. Paid the same for less than what was reserved.

Review 17：Request for disabled room written on booking form but not seen by checkin staff in time for first night 1st request for shower seat resulted inoversized chair with one wheel missing which did not fit in the showercubicle therefore showering was impossible Duty manager unable to doanything as he was the only person on duty at night. 120 rooms +/-220 guests one member of staff?? What happens in an emergency? No kingsized bed options

Review 20：The outside of the hotel and the corridors are not very clean. Desagreable odors in the corridors. But room and bathroom were very clean.

Review 21：Amazing breakfast. Pleasant room. Very quiet despite the fact that the hotel is downtown. We enjoyed the view on the harbour and on the sea. Convenient parking. Wonderful restaurant on the first level (nice decoration and delicious food). Nice location, close to everything (but Kristiansand is a small city).

Review 24：The hotel seems to be understaffed. When I arrived, there was nobody at the reception, and had to wait for about 30 minutes before somebody came to check me in. The room was not made up the next day even when I came back around 6pm, which is unacceptable. It was however made up when I came back from dinner later that night.

Review 25：The location was wonderful, close to the train station and on the main street. Reasonably sized room, comfortable bed. Good breakfast selection. Good WIFI signal in the room and hotel.

Excellent breakfast - good variety We went for a meal in the a hotel restaurant and we thought it was the best meal we had in Norway. Excellent Moroccan chef!! Food was amazing. Also waffles at 6pm which was a lovely treat. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Review 28：Most of the staff were nice, but one particular member of the staff was being a prick. She was no help to us at all. She forgot our original problem in just a few minutes. She forgot we didn't speak norwegean in only a few minutes of consulting someone on the phone. She accused us of some technical problem she was struggling with - which we had nothing to do with. Everytime we came to the reception hall, she asked if we were checking out (For the first time she asked this was just 15minutes after we had checked in). She agreed to find us the bus schedule to the airport, on a Sunday, but the timetable she wrote us down was definately not for Sunday. If we hadn't double checked out the schedule at the bus terminal, we would have missed our flight. Also we showed her a ticket to a concert to ask about the locations mentioned on it, but she barely looked at the ticket and said she didn't understand a word on it - the ticket was in Norwegean and we had understood more with Google Translate than she, a native speaker, apparently had. If not for her, we would've given the hotel a better rating. Oh, also, the air condition didn't work.

Cutlery in the resteraunt could do with a change.
