Review 1：The lowest setting on the air con fan still very high. It also occasionally seemed to switch to outside air as everything in the room would get covered in condensation. Beware the most basic room has no window, but we were upgraded, so all was good :-)

Review 4：We loved the pool it was amazing,the lobby was very impressive also. We were right across the road from the beach and a 10 min walk to Bangla road. We had all the necessities we needed at our finger tips! Our Wifi always worked great in our Bedroom which was handy as sometimes in the lobby it didn't.Over all we loved our stay here:)

Excellent facilities such as pool areas and bars, nighyly entertainment, toiletries, flip flops, beach bag, umbrellas, big comfy room, beautiful bathroom snd shower and views - loved these finer details. Excellent buffet breakfast with adequate variety. Excellent security when I didn't have a key snd needed to be let in - comforting. Excellent room servicing.

Review 9：Restaurant/Bar downstairs has live music till about 1am. So if you are an early sleeper, be prepared to stay up a bit later. Housekeeping had to be reminded daily to clean the room, and sometimes even after cleaning will forget to replace the towels During checkout, I was asked if I had used the laundry bag, and the hotel was going to charge me 300 Baht for it !!!

Review 21：This was our 3rd trip to Phuket but our first time staying at Baan laimai... Price didn't match my booking price, rooms need a really good clean, horrible smell from drain in shower and we had no hot water for 2 days and refused to move us to another room. Buffet breakfast for the size of the resort was sad and pathetic. Overall great location for the beach n short walk to Bangla rd but for everything n anything else it's such a let down and not worth the price they charge.

Review 23：NYE gala was lovely and we appreciated the marvellous effort that was put in by all to beautify the hotel for the event but the Price of gala was extravagant! We congratulated the staff for their effort as they all worked so hard! Baan Laimai being a 'smoke free hotel' where smokers were allowed to sit usually in large groups amongst non smokers which made night unpleasant as they light up anywhere and anytime during meal service! We were forced to leave gala early as it was unpleasant and the smoking guests do not consider others! The same group sat near us at breakfast be next day and did it again!! Smokers should not be allowed to smoke in food areas at any time and have limited well ventilated designated areas in the resort well away from main areas! Simple solution do not provide ashtray!!

Review 24：Restaurant with beach views, central easy location and access, friendly helpful and hospitable staff - they always go out of their way and if they recognise you from prior stays they are extra welcoming! Thanks to Alek, Song and staff who was so generous to us! Even the cleaning maid remembered us she was lovely!! As all the staff! The great pool and facilities. We have stayed many times as enjoy hotel so much!

Review 25：Beautiful and relaxing pool to lie by when you don't feel like going to the beach. Far away enough from the hustle and bustle of the main road that there is no noise coming from the streets. Staff were always friendly and willing to help, no matter what the time was.

Review 32：Staff nearly 80% of them they don't speak English where they advert on the website / booking .com that they speak English. Some of them were really rude. I booked the best deluxe villa for Euro 375 for 2 nights but that was a bungalow infront of the sea and instead on check in they told me that they are fully booked . I tried to be patient and polite with them but for noting then I spoke rude back how they spoke with me and I don't know from where they gave me another 2 rooms options . Breakfast Thai style not continental at all . I will never recommend or go again to this hotel for sure even if I sleep on the beach .

Review 34：When I checked into the hotel, they asked me to provide the credit card I made the booking with (this was not specified anywhere when I made the booking on Booking.com). I did not bring that credit card with me so I have now been charged twice, awaiting a refund that will take 30-45 days????? Reception was a bit far away from the beach side entrance. The room without a window has a weird closed off area, I recommend getting a room with a view. Room smelt musty and bathroom a bit rundown and daggy. However the hotel is undergoing renovations so hopefully that gets fixed up. Walls are a bit thin, I could hear the TV next door and also when people walked around outside.

Review 35：The pool was amazing, just like the photos! Location great as well, there is a beach side entrance and a quiet side street entrance. A short walk to Bangla Road. Also a lot of travel stands and street food nearby. They also provide underground parking if you rent a bike. Super crispy bacon for breakfast!

Review 46：I had a superior room, was on a budget so had to stay in the cheaper room. Smells musty, the air con is loud and had an annoying banging noise which kept me up most nights, it's in the old building which is why it has no windows. They have a band there that plays till 12pm every night. The walls had gross stains on them which looks like it was from condensation or something. Bed was really comfy and bathroom was massive.this room would be good if you are a heavy sleeper or if you were to be out all night. My friends had a pool view room with balcony would stay in one of those if I were to go back to patong. Buffett breakfast was average, many nice places around to eat so go and explore. You'll find cheaper places to eat if you go down side streets that are off the beach road. I was a bit worried about booking here because of all of the mixed reviews but I'm glad I stayed there!!

Review 47：The location is very handy right across from the beach. An easy 5 min walk to bangla road and jungceylon mall. Pool is huge loved it! 7/11 is right next door, we bought an esky from jungceylong mall, our alcoholic drink, ice from 7/11 because they were about half the price,drank them by the pool, at the beach and before going out to save money. Booking tours etc do that on the side of the road at those little stalls its much cheaper! Staff were so friendly they even sang me happy birthday and brung me a cake on the night of my 26th birthday which was really cool thanks guys!! I would definitely stay here again if I ever came back to patong beach!!

Review 48：Night its noise, because of the bars and shops around hotel keep loud speakers running. I had bad experience with Reception not like what I inspect from a good hotel. even from 3 stars hotel. Not responsible and too many not effective. either when I arrive when I check in or even when I left with check out. and specially when they let my taxi waiting me for half hour front of me telling hem I am at my room while I all ready check out and inform them to inform the taxi I am waiting hem. ?! and facility Jim is below average. left near to me was not working and the other left are really far from my room.

Review 50：Beware, the ladies at the front check in can double charge your card. They act sweet but are super sneaky. Make sure you double check. They were infested with mosquitoes and they were going inside the rooms and spraying even when people were not in their rooms, a group of men just go in there. I think they should wait for the guest and ask first to go in to the room. That was apaulling. The water in the shower was not draining properly, it would lay still even when done showering for a while. Room service charged more than what was on the actual menu.

Review 54：Staff is not a 4 star hotel staff. We asked for a quiet room, but we got a room right above the bar. When we asked to move to another room, I was told that this is the quietest room there is. All night music and people shouting outside. We had to go out to find earplugs to be able to sleep (of course they did not have the earplugs in the reception). Taxi to airport was in the room menu 800 THB but I had to pay 900 THB in the reception. They blaimed the cleaners for not updating the prices to the room. All in all I was really unsatisfied to hotels staff. I don't recommed this place, we won't go there again.

When I had to travel the next day!. A lot of stairs to walk up elevators broken on one said. Tv doesn't work all fuzzy the outside area was dirty with smoke ash. Didn't like my stay.

Review 61：What I liked that is was located in a good area. Blankets on bed were great.

Review 62：Staff can't speak English. Our fridge was not working and took them 3 days to replace, they kept saying yes to everything but didn't do anything until too late. Bad communication with the arrival transfer, they never respond on notes and requests upon booking and then when I tried to contact them to reconfirm the transfer (24 hrs prior to arrival) they declined the request claiming that we had to prebook and prepay 3 days in advance. Thankfully we found a taxi at the airport easily at the same price (800B) but when arrived at the hotel we found out that the policy for transfers is 24hrs in advance and not 3 days that the receptionist has mis-informed us. So all in all communication is a problem. On the other hand, the have offered us a complimentary upgrade for the inconvenience but then again when the fridge problem came up the receptionist was quite rude and abrupt telling me that if we don't like it we could move to the room type we had originally booked, instead of offering to fix or replace the fridge.You can understand that in a place like Patong with 33 celsius all day, a fridge is quite important(!)

Review 63：Hotel has a vast size touching both the beachfront street and a side street so easy to get around. It is located near many shops and has quite a lot facilities to use. The two ladies from the concierge office were very nice and helpful with any activities, tours we have booked, politely asking for our feedback every time.

Took until the last couple of a 13 day trip for them to get it right. Room wasn't cleaned most days until 5pm which is very late if you have been out all day and come back to a room still not cleaned.

Review 100：Do not book through the hotel agency staff!! Extremely disappointed!!Myself and four other people booked to go on a tour of the phi phiislands and decided to book through the hotel we assumed it would be atrustable source. We later found out they charged us double of whateveryone else had paid on our trip. They ripped us off completely withno justification as to why. We also were placed on a boat meant to carry22 passengers however their were 35! This trip had been recommended bythe hotel agency staff, so you can imagine how angry and upset we were.We did not get what we paid for. We went back to the desk upon ourreturn and argued for close to 2 hrs with the two ladies who sold us thetrip. The agency took the side of the company stating there was nothingwrong with the trip and refusing to give us a refund of the overchargedamount. We werent happy about this and asked to speak to the hotelmanager as the agency was within the hotel complex. We were told to comeback the next day. We did this and as soon as we arrived we were told(by agency) that they spoke to the manager and said there would be norefund. They were rude, unhelpful and simply uninterested in helpingtheir clients particularly after we paid. We still wanted to speak tothe manager. When she came, although she was polite and listened to ourconcern, the hotel didn't give us any compensation or exceptionalcustomer service for this distress caused. Not even a simple dinner ordrink at their restaurant on site. As a hotel, they should have givenbetter customer service for such an issue.

Review 101：The hotel itself was great! Clean and amazing location. Directly acrossthe road from the beach. The pool was also huge and clean. The hotelstaff were generally very friendly and kind towards you. They wished mea happy birthday with a small cake while I was there which was a lovelysurprise and they would help for minor issues such as needing freshtowels etc.

Review 113：The WORST hotel I have ever stayed in. When we checked in staff was not welcoming and very very rude. We have to wait for 30mins for our room to get ready, without staff apologies. And it tooks us 10mins to find our room without any directions. The rooms where so dirty and not cleaned everyday. The bathroom was so horrible and the toilet. Rooms were damp from poor A/C, all my stuff got wet from the A/C. The housekeeper doesn't speak English at all, and rooms get clean late if you're lucky. The curtains are not black out curtains. The loud music from the restaurant hotel was so annoying. The bed was so uncomfortable and the bed sheets stinks. If I could cancelled reservations and moved to another hotel, I would have. (People this is true) I would not recommend this hotel to anyone at all.

Review 125：The wifi is terrible on the top floors, always cutting in and out. If I just wanted to sit in my room and do some work on my phone I couldn't because most of the time I couldn't get the strong connection of the wifi.
