Review 1：It is a hidden beauty about 7 km from Petrosani on the Parang Mountain. With the help of the owner (Youtube link) and with the gps datas (easy to discover on the map of the Booking.com) it is easy to find. The house is very comforrable and we did not do any excursion for one day as it is so calm and it is so fantastic to be in the mid of the forest. Nice excursions can be done on foot and by car.

Review 9：My friends and I stumbled across this gem while looking for a cabin in the woods to spend Halloween night, on the way back from Hunedoara before we returned to Bucharest. We weren't sure what to expect, although the communication beforehand was very good. They sent us a link to a video of how to get to the property, showing where to turn and what landmarks to look for. This was absolutely invaluable when we arrived after dark and certainly wouldn't have found it so easily otherwise. They were also available by text or phone call, offering suggestions for what route to take, approximate times etc. What we ended up finding were two exceptional hosts waiting for us who walked us through the property, giving us all the information and answering any questions. The entire place is brilliantly kitted out over 3 levels. The kitchen is completely stocked with all your essential equipment and a wide variety of herbs, spices and staple ingredients. All around this bottom floor are a large selection of local and international wines for purchase during your stay as well, if you fancy. There was even a big surround sound system hooked up to a laptop with playlists ready to go for all occasions (karaoke microphone included -- sorry neighbours). After we handled all the formalities we were offered a shot of the local Romanian plum-based alcohol (fire water), and then we were on our own to enjoy the place. For the price, we were amazed at how nicely fitted out the place is. It's clearly a labour of love for the owners. We had a great dinner, a great night and my only regret is that we didn't have time to spend a whole week here. If we're ever back in Romania we would certainly go out of our way to spend some more time at Chalet Weinkeller.
Review 10：I liked everything, it is the best place where I stayed in Romania at the category of villa for individual use. The people administrating the chalet are great, the facilities in the chalet are great, you have everything what you need or not :) The position of chalet is out of main road, near to the forest, so your can enjoy the nature and relax. I spend a weekend here and I would like to congratulate the owners for what they have done. Great job
