Review 1：Beware of special offers for deluxe rooms as these are at front of hotel and the blaring music from Hard Rock Cafe does not stop until 1am. We did however complain after first night and after some reluctance from front desk staff we were moved to a much better room overlooking the pool. Breakfast average compared to similar hotels we have stayed at.

Review 2：I stayed one week in the hotel and the free wifi that works only in the lobby and pool area was very slooow and some of the time didn't even work properly. I payed for the high speed wifi that works in your room but that was also quite slow. So they should definitely get a better wifi system. The lobby area where you can hang out (and use the wifi) could be more cozy and get rid of the hard wood benches..

Review 4：Super nice staff who spoke english, upgraded our room for free since the reservation had been lost. The pool is very nice indeed on a hot day. Toilet seats were almost too comfortable.

Review 9：There wasn't much to like as it was not what appeared on the advertising. The gym was absolutely pathetic to say the least. The oldest and dirtiest equipment and the heaviest dumbell set being a 9kg. There was no gym staff on duty. The aircon wasn't working neither did the control unit, radio and clock. My room was substandard with the oldest decor ever something from the 70's. The room was NEVER properly cleaned and I actually had to ask the cleaning lady for disinfectant to clean the shower, toilet, bath and basin. The coffee, tea, sugar and creamer was often never replaced and I had to phone housekeeping for that. Even the towels werent replaced on a daily basis. My room was sometimes not even cleaned at all...The bed wasn't made the curtains weren't opened. She never ever bothered.....As for the breakfast... The cups were old, and stained, the pastries was old and on 2 occasions I found hair in my bacon, that might be because they make the eggs outside which is situated right underneath the balconies and when housekeeping sweeps the balconies all the dust and dirt falls on the food. If you sat outside there were drains underneath 2 of the tables...The smell was unbearable. The tables weren't cleaned when you arrived for breakfast and when you asked the staff to clean they took their time and could not even do a descent job. The back round music was absolutely terrible! Nursery rhymes....really???? And Elvis! The staff at reception battled to understand English and it made it difficult to communicate. The wifi was a huge problem....This was my 6th visit to Patong and by far my worst experience ever! It has put me off from ever visiting Thailand again. I actually felt depressed walking into Baumanburi everyday. All my previous stays was in 4 star Hotels and it was Brilliant. Baumanburi is definitely NOT a 4 star Hotel. The pool area does not have enough loungers and the pool only gets sun late in the day.

Review 11：No wifi in rooms, unless you pay a lot per day. The 'superior rooms' are below average and are located across the road from the Hard Rock which plays very loud music every night until 1.30am. You will not sleep before this time unless you're drunk.

Review 13：The noise from the hard rock cafe across the road is extremely loud at night time and did cause both me and my partner to lose sleep on our first night. Also the add for this hotel says free WiFi, however there is only free WiFi in the lobby and if u want it in your room you have to pay. And its expensive. The double bed was very uncomfortable and so my back was sore in the mornings.

Review 14：The pool is very nice and we had a room that went straight out into the pool which was lovely. We did get good value for money because we booked very late and got a "last minute deal"however another couple booked much in advance and paid a lot more.

Review 15：rooms are falling apart, some hectic maintenance required, staff was below average and we did not feel welcome at all.walls are very thin and can easily here every conversation of your neighbour. gym equipment is extremely old. food is expensive at the restaurant and staff are slow and not bothered. rooms are cleaned very late in the afternoon and we also had to wait till 15:30 before we could checkin because the room was not ready.

Review 17：Need to be careful while listening to what the staff is saying...Their english is broken so you need to attentive and ask again & again for clarifications... Mineral water refilling on a daily basis was chargeable on all days except the first day !! I missed that while receptionist was telling me...That costs me 35 Baht a bottle which retails at 9 Baht :(

If you want to sleep before 2 am , you cant in these rooms. They are opposite the Hard Rock Café. I would make it a condition of any future booking that I stay away from block 1.

Review 37：The hotel was 5 min walk to the beach on one of the major shopping and entertainment streets. It had a lovely pool area with massage and manicure etc services available by the pool. Breakfast as buffet style and pretty good with an egg/bacon station cooking to order. Our room overlooked the pool and was big with plenty of natural light. Plenty of restaurants, bars and market shopping nearby.

Review 38：1. the staff doesn't speak english at all except one person!!! 2. the room looks like a hostel room, don't believe the photos you see, in reality it is not the same! 3. they had terrible problems with wifi in reception area, and if you want a wifi in your room you neet to pay 100 bat for every hour!!! 4. the hotel is near hard rock cafe, so from afternoon hours until 2 am you cant sleep because it is too loud from the live music the bar plays every day! 5. even though i've booked a room for 2 people for 1 week and i was alone all the time, when i brought lady to stay the night with me they charged me with a lot of money every single time i brought someone!!! the worst thing is that when i decided to go with a lady to eat breakfest they charged me for the breakfest also. even though i paid for the breakfest for 2 people for all the week. when i talked to the manager about these issues they said it is hotel policy, but they wanted to earn money on every single chance they have! i have been in koh samui, koh tao, and .bangkok after that, and not even one hotel charged me like they have done!! i have been in 5 more hotels after this one and they were great!!

Review 53：Although booked for two persons, the guest must provide the name of the second person at the time of checking in, otherwise an amount of THB 500.- per night will be charged for the second person! This is a violation of the agreement accepted at the time of booking, since this is stated nowhere! It is announced to the guest for the first time while checking in at the front desk! They call it "hotel policy", but one can think of a much better term for that!

Review 54：The wifi and network in the hotel is so poor , only on the lobby its good. The breakfast was poor and contains more thai food than international , plus there was no Halal food for muslims.

Alex work in the restaurant is a very good man take care everything for us when ask, and without ask... Joey work most in the pool-bar he is also a great guy, but everyone is. I lovede the pool-bar so great to be there. the breakfast was delicious, and have new things on menu everyday The hotel is not far from the beach and not far for shopping, everything are nearby. There was not so much noise as we expected, and all musik stop 02:00 Pm so no problem about that.

Review 63：No wifi at rooms. Breakfast was really poor. Very impolite staff. Old renovated hotel and facilities. Water pressure too small at 5th floor. Taxi service more expensive than a taxi you could get 50m. outside of the hotel. During our check-in there was a dispute with hotel staff as they asked for additional charges than those we had in our agreement via booking. Of course we never accepted paying anything extra and the impolite staff were humiliated in front of other customers as well. Nice room service, but you don't have to tip, it was self service in one case.

Review 78：We had the pool room. I stayed with my 14 year old son and it was the highlight of the stay. We paid about $100 per night in the off season. Only thing I didn't like was the cold breakfast at 6:30am as we were leaving early this day. My son couldn't eat the hot dog things and pancakes as they were still cold. We were also able to sleep early at 8pm as there was a little moise but if you have had a big day you will have no problems sleeping.

Review 104：Terrible service, rude staff, the most inhospitable hotel I ever stayed in! The receptionist was noticed screaming at the guests several times. Not willing to help make arrangements for the tours or taxi to the airport. Extremely poor breakfast, leftovers from dinner served in the morning! The room door can be easily opened with a plastic card. Dirty bathroom and old, smelly room in general.

Review 106：Put in room with 3 single beds despite asking for double bed. Mum has a disability and was left to sleep in that for 2 nights before being moved. Bathroom had no hot water either. Finally moved and the toilet pipe burst and flooded everywhere but because staff became offensive towards us complaining we were worried about complaining so my father just fixed the pipe himself and my daughter cleared the bathroom. We complained to My Bookingg.com and then they decided to rebel and not clean our room thereafter. We complained and requested towels and were told to complete the suggestion card out. We also booked the hotel because they advertised an American breakfast however all there was was an egg stand. There was no beans bacon sausage....nothing. The hotel has done nothing to accommodate us and we have had to pay for breakfast every day out from the hotel. We were told 'well it's not a 5 star hotel'. We do understand that but they advertised something that's a lie. Avoid this place at all costs.

Review 108：The rooms were very noisy and Windows rattled. Wi fi only available in the lobby and didn't always work. 1000B deposit had to be made on rooms keys, this wasn't stated when I booked the room and was a shock when I arrived.

Review 109：Check in and check out are always a pain in this hotel . Takes a long time especially for the room check at check-out time . Staff never quite seem to have it together . They have introduced a key deposit of 1,000 baht since the last time I stayed there . It's not mentioned anywhere .

They are biker friendly hotel and with very spacious and well monitored parking for motorbikes which is the main reason I choose this hotel . Price also is very good. Review 125：i got a great delux room face to the pool. my room has useful balcony, clean bath room, clean bathtub, shower, and the swimming pool also...everything is clean even it has ages. location is good also, very closed by shopping mall and patong beach walk about 10 mins. the house keeping and staffs works very well for help to answer questions. the lobby receptions all are very friendly and willing to help. because of the comfortable area, it gives me a lot of relax time.

Review 128：The staff were dealing with me was unprofessional and not in confidential. Cocktails weren't four star hotel stander. Therefore I was expecting bit more for my room, they gave me on the side room instead in the main hotel which for the money I spent in a low season was fairly disappointed.

Review 129：The breakfast (no cheese /no olive ) no sweet and fruits No wifi in the room you have to pay One elevator for the same building some time you have to wait time Some hotels have a great service which is a free bus can carry the ppl from the hotel to the joncy long mall

Review 130：I like the staff and the location , staff are very friendly specialy hammad in the reception ,max in the food area and the staff in the room service . At all i like the hotel but i don't like the breakfast at all.

Review 131：I did not like the idea of having the A/C unit right on the bed. And the temperature was set and could not be increased or decreased. I had a permanent head cold.

Review 135：Extra charges on wifi. They have no free kiosk pc's to use, even if you only need a pc for a few minutes they still charge by the hour. All the food except the sandwhich/burger pool specials have a %17 charge on them. They have a extra person per night charge of 500bhat. This is despite booking a room for two people, its fine if you originally check in with two but if you plan on bringing a girl/guy home for the night or even a few hours in the day you will be charged. They are very inflexible.

Review 137：Was not happy with the Delux room, nothing like the pictures, it was very old and depressing! When I complained they upgraded me to the new section of the hotel but I had to pay an extra 400 baht a night!!!!!
