Review 1：Shared shower: a room with roof slope and no window. Would not book that again, only a room with private shower.

Review 3：The wifi doesn't work in the room. When I'm traveling for business I need a good internet connection in the room, so I can receive mail from my boss. The room wifi was so weak that I couldn't even check my email.

Review 17：The Academic hotellet is one of the best places we've ever been. Located next to everything one would like to experience in Uppsala, especially during Valborg. Cozy, beautiful, with stunning views and absolutely wonderful attic. Great breakfast. Their creppes with lingon and blackberries are a piece of fairytale. The staff is nice and ready to help, though we didn't had any problems to deal with. Best place in town to spend a perfect vacation.

Review 20：Next to the hotel there is a pup. And after the pup closes the garbage, including glass bottles, is taken out to the bins. This is "a bit" loud ... so that made me wake up Friday and Saturday night. (On weekdays this was not an issue.) But this will not keep me from booking there again.

Review 74：The most accurate place for those people who want to visit/use the main library - Carolina Rediviva but also for the ordinary tourists. I am ready to say that is better to stay for the night in a quiet Uppsala than in the crowded capital. You can take the train to Stockholm or to get to the Arlanda airport.

Review 122：We stayed here one night as a stop over when driving back to North. We couldn't find any reasonable priced hotel in Uppsala or near by so we ended up here. We payed 87 euros and I found it a bit expensive as the hotel is a bit worn out. The place itself is very central and remember to ask for a room towards the inner yard (not towards the street as it can be noisy and the room is rather hot without no air conditioning). We arrived late and as the reception closes at 22 hours, they send us the door code and instructions by email in advance. You can park you car free of charge with the parking permit in the inner yard but there is a limited amount of places. So you may have problems to find a longer parking place if the hotel's parking place is full. The Akademiehotellet seems to be made for the visiting students and doctors of the Uppsala university and the atmosphere is a bit "academic" with silent atmosphere and book cases in each floor. Which is actually good, as we did enjoy the silence to sleep :) WLAN is included in the price ans worked out really well. The room is okay in its size, also the bed linens and towels were very good. There was hand soap and shower gel ready. The room and especially the bath room (shower!) should be cleaned definitely better. Now it was a bit dusty in the room and especially the shower and it's walls were in looking like they could really need so washing liquid and a brush! The service was very friendly and the breakfast was good. Not a business hotel type of luxurious breakfast but very good.

Review 123：The room was full bed bugs. I had it all over my body. The sofa was also infected. There was no one at the reception to talk to. Also there is no shower in the room. Just half a mile a way from here you can get a 4* hotel for little more. Don't get close to it.
