Review 1：the rooms were stuffy, and we didn't want to open the window for noise and security's. The beds were super creaky and noisy.
Review 2：Easy walking distance from town and close to the ferry. The woman at the front desk was amazingly friendly and helpful.
Review 3：If you are sensitive to noise you may fine it too close to the main road. Sheet provided was a single although the bed was a (small) double.

Review 28：This budget hotel is located at the best place. It is very close to the Kristiansand harbour. If you have plan to use a night ferry from Denmark or Germany, this hotel is located with the cheapest price. The price is also proper. You can make some food by yourself.

Review 35：- The hotel is located close to a couple of busy roads with lots of traffic passing by. It's very noisy since you can hear the traffic all the time. If you are sensitive to noise, you might not sleep very well. - The floor was not cleaned properly and rather dusty. - You have to make your own bed when you check-in.

Review 114：We travel a lot with our show cats. Usually fee of cat in the hotel room is 5-10€ (37-74NOK) per staying or per night. It is reasonable price and even though the payment, we leave room tidy after visiting. But in Budget ”Hotel” Kristiansand the fee was 200 NOK/night….It is horrible fee and rooms wasn´t so clean that they are in normal hotel. It was our luck that our cats meet dirty hotel after show, not before…So with animals nearly hotels are much cheaper than this “budget hotel”
Review 115：it good opportunity to spend one night when you are travelling in country. It is not expensive and rather comfortable hotel near city center and bus, train and ferry terminals. Also it is no problem if you arrive late or depart early. I like it.
Review 116：The location seems to be the worst available in Kristiansand, between railway tracks and the probably busiest streets of the city. When you arrive by ferry, you will see a construction of containers labelled "Budget Hotel". We got shocked when we saw this. The term "hostel" would fit much more. There is no service you would expect in a hotel, the "hotel" offers no breakfast at all, you have to put clean sheets onto and remove them from the beds yourselves. If you want your cleaned or need a fresh towel, you have to pay for it. Never again!

Review 123：Ideal location very close to the ferry terminal (we were returning to Denmark after a wonderful holiday in Norway). The Budget Hotel looks exactly like the Lonely Planet description (i.e. container boxes in a carpark!) but it was most efficient, clean, and we had a friendly young lady there to help us get settled in and recommend where to eat something. The rooms are small - we had two right beside each other for 3 people but they have everything you need. Crispy white sheets and clean towels. Enough loo paper in the WC and a general 'safe' feeling. We came back late after a nice evening in Kristiansand but had no trouble getting in with the passcode. I would stay there again for one or two nights when in Kristiansand during a short stay.
Review 124：This is a basic as it gets, at least in Norway. Top bunk is very close to the ceiling, and therefore it can be a little stuffy. All night petrol station next door is handy. A cautious recommendation from me.
