Reviews for Air View Inn
Review 1:There were people running up and down the stairs all night for two nights. About every 10 to 15 minutes someone would be going up or down the stairs. It is normally not a good sign for so much foot traffic at a hotel at all hours of the night.
Review 2:The price was good for the area
Review 3:Very basic, but that's what I expected.
Review 4:good bed, lots of channels on the cable...clean, convenient. I left my silver ring behind on the bedside table, the proprietor found it and is sending it to me, I am very grateful.
Review 5:No Telephone, No Clock, No Security Lock on the door, mirrored bedhead (odd)....in need of an upgrade and refurbishing
Review 6:Bed was Comfortable, close to the Air Museum
Review 7:When I came into the room it was hot! I felt like I had stepped into an oven I had to turn on the AC to max and leave for an hour just to get the room to feel normal. The room is poorly lit so even if the door was secure you felt like someone in a horror movie, as for the door it needs a weather strip for the bottom because when you shut the door you can see about a half inch gap at the bottom that is not being blocked.
Review 8:It was a room I could sleep in, the beds were good to sleep on.
Review 9:sink was clogged. There were hair in the bathroom, which made me think it was not very well cleaned. Walls dirty, seemed old and not well taken care. Not a good value for the money and far from I-70.
Review 10:good tv and shower.
Review 11:This is an old former Days Inn with few amenities - no pool or spa, forexample - but it was clean and well-maintained despite its obvious age.No frills.
Review 12:For someone visiting the us Air Force Museum, the location of the AirView was perfect; I couldn't have gotten closer if I tried. With aBob Evans restaurant next door and fast food from McDonald's, kfc,and Taco Bell a very short walk away, I didn't miss having anincluded breakfast, either. The price was definitely right.
Review 13:The floor was cracked all over, one of the two beds was extremely springy, not comfortable at all and the shower made a deafening squeal when we used it. But...But, no bed bugs so I was fine with it.
Review 14:I liked that it was clean. The AC worked, and the water pressure was decent.
Review 15:No extra pillows in entire hotel, no ironing board, no extra towels in entire hotel. Staff was hard to understand and not helpful at all.
Review 16:Cleanliness of room
Review 17:I didn't like that the door didn't seal all the way, so the traffic noise was loud. Also, we stayed multiple nights and they didn't replace the sugar packets that we used for coffee and tea (that we had brought).
Review 18:The room was clean. The room had a tv with cable, Internet, refidgerator, and a microwave.
Review 19:You pay for a motel so don't expect a 5 stars hotel. Everything was really good for the price I paid
Review 20:Wife is really fast, staff was helpful and kind, bed sheets had some scales but I think are old ones. Room is warm.
Review 21:The room had a light that wouldn't work that made the room darker than I would have like. And the ice machine didn't work.
Review 22:The room, shower and bed was nice.
Review 23:You can't expect the Ritz for the money a room costs Old fashioned motel
Review 24:Near the US Airforce Museum Old fashioned motel Restaurant next door Good for the money
Review 25:It is still an old Days Inn. There was limited parking when we arrived at night, but we made do. The ice machine was broken.
Review 26:This is an old Days Inn in an excellent location with great access to all interest points in Dayton (UD, WPAFB, etc.). It is very clean and has been updated with paint and new carpeting. For the money, it is a nice, budget hotel.
Review 27:Carpets in need of steam cleaning, my feet were black after walking around barefoot in the room.
Review 28:Clean, convenient, functional, and good value for money. Right next to a good diner as well.
Review 29:There was a gap under the door to our room big enough for bugs to get in from the outside and the water didn't get very hot in the shower for 3 of us to take showers

Review 68:It smelled. It was cheap. There wasn't even a hair dryer.
Review 69:The location was good for our purpose
Review 70:Outdated facility. No bedbugs, but did see roaches. Wide gap under the door to outside. Anything could crawl in.
Review 71:There was blood on my shower curtain and the lady at the desk did not believe, nor did she offer me a discount or apology.

Review 75:Outdated furniture and fixtures.
Review 76:Location.
Review 77:I liked everythinh
Review 78:Everything was up to date
Review 79:Never could get the Wifi to work. Even the staff had no luck with my Windows Vista lap top. This system seems to work with only smart phones and Windows 8.1
Review 80:It was close to the USAF Museum.
Review 81:No crockery, cutlery or any other type of food preparation requirements. No complementary. Tea or Coffee available For a stay of 5 day's was I expected to go out and buy my own? No shops near by.
Review 82:The manager is a beautiful, caring person. Nothing was too much trouble for her.
Review 83:The service was the worst I ever witnessed, the rooms were poorly maintained and lack adequate stuff, and when I went to the front desk to inform them of my complaints, such as the light in the BR going out for the whole night, the shower was cold, etc., they laughed at me! Their behavior was shocking and anyone considering this hotel should avoid it at all costs!!!!
Review 84:Nothing
Review 85:The hotel was run down. The towel rack was falling out of the wall. The plaster and paint were flaking and pealing off the wall in the bathroom. There was a hole in the bathroom door that looked like some one put there foot in it.
Review 86:The location was good for visiting the places I wanted to see.
Review 87:I have nothing to complain about with my stay here.
Review 88:The front desk staff was very friendly and the room was clean and comfortable. It is a good value.

Review 91:I had to run the water in the sink for quite a while in order to get hot water. It was hot once it got there.
Review 92:The room was very quiet and clean. Perfect location for my travel to the AF Museum.
Review 93:This poor motel has been renovated, repainted, with more recentfurniture. Yet there was a hole in the bathroom door, the sink wasbroken and the carpet had been burned in one place with an iron mark.Places that had not been painted well where cement would show up.When I arrived I requested a quiet room on the quiet side of the motel (not on the road) but was placed on the road side, in a room that apparently had been previously inhabited by the owner of a herd of cats, a smell that the renovation could not delete despite fresh painting. The person at the reception told me it was the quietest room she could offer. She was a young lady probably from India. Her decisions seemed authoritative and without appeal, she was not listening to her customer's needs and feelings but felt probably convenient placing the first arrival in a bad room to make sure she would fill the motel for the night. She smiled at problems suggesting they were invented. I asked to change room, expressing I was allergic to cats, and was simply lent a spray. There was no way to change room, even though at the time most rooms on the quiet side of the motel were free.Wi-Fi in the room was free with a password, if the customer agreed to conditions that frankly sound abusive and possibly illegal: the hotel guests must agree that all their data are now property of the hotel and can be sold, including the content of their emails and the websites they visit, contents in the computer, and they must acknowledge that they are the only owners of all data and take full responsibility if some data did belong to third parties who might make a lawsuit for having their copyrighted materials being sold with their consent by the internet network providing Wi-Fi. I have never seen such outrageous contract. Sounds as if the hotel was connected to a cyber-mafia.Police cars regularly drive on the private road besides the hotel suggesting this is a neighborhood that requires regular checking.
Review 94:The room low cost outside of town with car rent was half the price theof the Crown Hotel in the Center, where my target Conference wasorganized. Easy access from highway 75 and 40. You have a fridge in theroom and a microwave. The bed is clean and comfortable. The 24"flat tv is fine. The maids cleaning the room were nice and effective.
Review 95:I made my reservation on line with booking.com. But the day of our arrival I called when we got in town and the hotel had no record of the reservation. The staff was very nice and luckily did have a room available just like what I wanted.
Review 96:Staff was very friendly and helpful (I couldn't log on the the WiFi and they patiently talked me thru it) Room was clean, beds comfortable.
