Review 1：Room too far from parking for snow covered sidewalks No carpet or at least rug by door to keep snow from being tracked in. Morning checkout person wasn't friendly at all.

Review 3：The door to my room, when closed and locked, you could still see outside through a 1/2'' crack. Bedspread had stains on it. Not enough selections at breakfast.

Review 5：The HVAC is very noisy. When we arrived in the night, the friendly front desk said that we could pay in cash when we check out. However, in the morning when we did the check out the front desk (that was another lady) was very impolite and just said that it was charged in my credit card and told me that there would be taxes for the hotel if she returned the payment. Unpleasant situation that cost 6% more for me (my credit card is from another country that charges for it). The breakfast was poor. There were just coffe and nothing else (no chocolate, no juice).

Review 7：Even though they didn't have extra cribs for my son, the room was really nice with plenty of room for both kids to play. The room was clean and spacious with comfortable beds.

Review 8：hallways stink old and from cigarette smoke, AC unit cannot be adjust. They put smokers to the non-smoke rooms so they go smoke just outside the entrance doors, with smoke being dragged inside the building. Every time I went out I came back stink like I spent hours in the bar.

Review 10：Breakfast had zero options for anything that was not completely carbohydrate based. The only hot food was waffles. We decided to spend the extra money here hoping to have a better experience, but had to buy breakfast elsewhere.

Review 12：We had asked for a crib when we reserved the room, but when we got there, very late at night, they said they had thrown all their old cribs away and were waiting for new ones to arrive. That would have been nice to know when we made the reservation so we could bring one of our own. The breakfast was pretty dismal too. Waffles, white bread, and pastries. That was about it. And there were no tissues in our room so we had to use toilet paper.

Review 27：It smelled like cat urine near the bed, apparently a small male dog "marked" a leg on the desk and left a small dried up urine puddle. I would only walk around with shoes on. Bare bones breakfast choice. Won't ever stay there again.

It was over an inch deep in some places. I called and the staff person came & later a maintenance person came and the staff person kept telling us, "well that's unfortunate" They came in three different times & once brought towels for me to put down which did absolutely no good. The room was full of water. They offered no other way to rid the water. We had things get wet & had to walk in the water to try & get ready. Miserable!!

Review 74：The room was just awesome it was big a spacious had a desk and desk chair love seat, and a table by the little frig, and of course tv and dresser little wall dividing the room from the bed, but by no means was the room crowded, when you walk in you can see how cleanliness the beds are great. I have stayed at the Red roof west in Amarillo, Texas 3 times in 2 weeks and I would not want to stay any where else ever again while in Amarillo. It was my first time staying at a Red Roof and I was overly impressed and I would like to suggest to everyone if you are traveling through Amarillo try out Red Roof West. It is an awesome stay. I have even stayed in their room with a spa. I just call it Jacuzzi room the call it spa room. It was very nice had a hot tub separated from the bathroom, If you have some extra cash to spend on a room try it out very relaxing. .

The sink stopper wasn't working properly, you had to go under the sink and push it up to get the sink to drain. The curtain on the window was not hooked in the hook nearest the door so the curtain would not close all the way. The door was like it had been broken into. It wouldn't stay secure and you could see light coming in all around the edge.

Couldn't hardly see myself in the mirror.

Review 114：The room was filthy. When we arrived there was a gold condom wrapper on the balcony outside our door. That was an omen to the rest of the stay. The floor was roll out wood patterned linoleum. There were stains and sticky spots and several dried red droplets that could have been blood on the floor. (How hard would it have been for housekeeping to just wash the floor?!?) The air smelled musty and dank. There were skin oil smudges on the mirror showing that someone had leaned over the sink, bracing their weight against their forearms on the mirror. (This made me ask questions...) The bathroom was old and needed to be re-caulked. There was hair in the bathtub. The sheets looked clean, but there was some kind of stain on the bedspread. Breakfast was alright, but the staff was unfriendly. The condom wrapper remained on the balcony, even after a staff member walked by. (??!!!??) We stayed at a different hotel on the way back through Abilene at the end of the same trip, paid about the same amount somewhere else and had a MUCH better experience. Stay somewhere else!

Review 116：We called earlier in the day to say we would be gettting there a little later in the evening and asked if we could have connecting rooms...the lady who answered the phone was very rude. She said they had only received a reservation for us from booking.com for one room and we made a reservation for two rooms and we received a confirmation from booking.com for two rooms too but she said.we only had one room so we had to pay quite a bit more for the second room. Upon arriving in our room we went to pop a bag of popcorn in the microwave but the microwave was filthy i had to wash it before we could use it ..the door had a big gap under it and you see it the outside through it. It was disappointing was served the purpose we needed it for.. we will not be staying there again though.

Review 120：The "we get it right" marketing slogan shown all over the property and completely ignored by the management. The maintenance department came to my toom to fix the hot water. When I returned from work, I still had no hot water in my bathroom and now had no cold water in the wash basin. They left wet towels on my bathroom floors.

Review 121：Avoid this place unless you are truly desperate for lodging because the housekeeping is the worst I have ever encountered. Prepare for no adequate hot water in the bathroom, no cold water in the wash basin, a manager who is defensive and won't answer the front desk phone and dirty rooms with filth on top of the armoire and dirt behind all of the furniture on the floors. I had one hot shower in six nights despite moving to a second room.

Review 131：After checking into my room, I noticed three bugs. Two of the bugs were dead. There was standing water in the bath tub. The floors were not swept and the blankets had white stains on them. There was a couch in the room, but it seemed to have a black oil stain on one of the cushions.
