Reviews for Quality Inn Sea-Tac Airport
Review 1:The mattresses were too soft, tiny bathroom, only one ice machine for two floors, only one computer
Review 2:The hot breakfast was well above average as was convenience to the airport.
Review 3:The front desk rep at our arrival 12:00 am was not friendly and not knowledgeable about shuttle buses and simple questions and my room was missing the tv remote
Review 4:The shuttle bus driver from the airport 11:30 pm was friendly and helpful good job
Review 5:Shuttle bus didn't arrive and the lady on the desk had to take us. Dropped off in car park and wasn't given any information of how to get to terminal. Fortunately another guest helped me
Review 6:Location
Review 7:1 staff person was a bit rude, a second one failed to send the shuttle to the airport ( 2 couples waited 45 minutes). Same staff member was told about a broken sink and said it would be reported- never happened. Third staff member was friendly, helpful, and polite.
Review 8:Shuttle was very convenient. Quiet. Comfortable. Breakfast was enjoyed.
Review 9:The overall facility is clean but rooms are small and not "quality"
Review 10:The comparative lower cost compared to other motels/hotels close to the airport
Review 11:The cold water faucet had hot water in it. I had to let the water run to get it to cool down. Seemed like a huge waste of water.
Review 12:The bed was really comfortable. The rooms were quiet.
Review 13:We had to call three times for the shuttle and wait for more than 45 minutes. The breakfast is really bad, scrambled eggs inedible and apart from cereals I couldn't find anything I would enjoy.
Review 14:It's a nice place close to the airport if you need to sleep between your flights.
Review 15:Entire hotel in very run down condition. The room smelled foul. Asked for extra pillows and blanket - first were told they had none, when we asked her to at least check to see she hung up on us. Extremely rude front desk clerk with a very bad attitude who told us our issues were "not her problem." Little options for breakfast - runny scrambled eggs and bad taste to waffles. Do not stay here!!!
Review 16:Absolutely nothing!!
Review 17:Everything. Dirty rooms bed sucked and stuff popping out side and the employee's were super rude won't stay there again worse 132 spent rather of stood in my car
Review 18:Nothing
Review 19:The room smelled very musty and weird, may from it being a 1st floor (basement) room or the air conditioner. The bed was very uncomfortable. Every time one person moved the whole bed moved and was not a restful sleep. Very hard on the joints and back.
Review 20:The staff was awesome and friendly. We were there for three days. Cleaning staff was very accommodating with giving us new towels when we needed them.
Review 21:Understaffed, didn't have rooms we reserved, poor communicators, old, tired motel. Things were falling off the wall. Would never stayhere again. I was very embarrassed that I was the one responsible forreserving this motel. More like a skid row 20 dollar an hour motel.
Review 22:Parking was an issue the night we spent some time out and didn't return untill after 11:00. The beds were extra firm and hard to sleep on. Some areas of the hotel had a damp musty smell.
Review 23:The staff was nice and friendly. The lady that checked us out was extremely nice and even able to correctly pronounce my last name. (Not hard to do but few are able to.)
Review 24:iOne person at desk upon check-in and ignored our arrival. Facilities run down and dated. "Free" breakfast was not ready in morning (no juice, etc.) Room had view of two discarded bathtubs and weeds. Will not go back.
Review 25:Breakfast was supposed to be included and though I arrived right in the middle of breakfast time there was almost no food available. Everything had been picked over and very little was left.
Review 26:Ok value for money and clean
Review 27:Where do I begin?Let's talk about the bloodstains on the floor in our basement room. There was one dark red stain on the far end of the room, and two other larger stains closer to the door. My boyfriend and I were both horrified to see bloodstains on the carpet, so went upstairs to ask to please change rooms. After ignoring my presence for a solid minute, I asked if he (who appeared to be the manager) was available to help me, to which he responded, "One minute" and then proceeded to stand there apparently playing "hotter/colder" with his employee about where paper work was located. Finally, he said, "Ok, how can I help you?" I told him about the room and very politely asked to switch rooms. He told me that the entire motel was booked and we couldn't switch rooms. I had been told less than two minutes before that we could upgrade to an available king room. Suddenly, when we complained about bloodstains on the carpet, the place was entirely booked... shocker. The male manager then told me a far-fetched story about how the stains were red hair dye, and that he could confirm this because the woman who stained the carpet called a year after dying her hair in the room to check on the damage. Uh-hu... a likely story. He was extremely condescending and unhelpful and didn't even apologize for the state of the room. He said, "If it makes you feel any better, we are aware of the poor state of the room and are replacing the carpets next month." No, it didn't make me feel any better... at all. The room smelled horrible, like stale smoke and feet. The front desk assured us that it had been cleaned thoroughly. We found a big toenail clipping on the floor under the ottoman -- so much for the room being "clean". I realize this is one of the cheaper options out there, but I expect cleanliness at the very least. Nothing fancy - just clean.
Review 28:Proximity to the airport Night staff was very nice (I think her name was Crystal - very nice and helpful! That's one helpful staff member out of four that we interacted with...)
Review 29:The staff took a long time to answer the phone at night. It was inconvenient since we were calling for a ride back to the hotel .
Review 30:Free shuttle to and from the Light Rail which takes you to downtown Seattle in 20min or less. We didn't use our car so no parking, parking fees. Breakfast was good and room clean.
Review 31:the rooms are NOT SOUND PROOF-the upstairs people (kids) jumping from 6am to after midnight! The maids cleaning rooms making noise to early when people are on VACATION
Review 32:the breakfast was good.
Review 33:The only problem that I had this time was my room was on the lower first floor next to the laundry room. I had to get up very early to start my day and looked forward to a good night sleep. The other guest used the washer and dryer and the dryer was hitting the wall all thru the night. This was very inconvenient but I understand that they had to use them. The next time that I book a room with them, I will make sure that I am not in the basement next to the laundry and exercise room.
Review 34:This is the second time staying at this location and it was a very convenient place for me to stay. Once a year I have to attend a conference in the area and usually book a room for three to five days, and plan to use your facility when needed. I look forward to staying next year. It was very easy to use Booking.com to reserve thus room.
Review 35:Toilet so low it was difficult to get up.
Review 36:Near airport. Breakfast excellent. Bedding excellent. Helpful front desk, aided me in getting boarding pass. Free parking.
Review 37:Needs a coat of paint this may be on course as work was ongoing during our stay. Did not like paper plates for breakfast not good for the environment.
Review 38:Staff excellent, airport shuttle very good. Bed Comfortable, breakfast good except for paper plates.
Review 39:You can hear every step someone takes and the walls "creek"
Review 40:The room key got no working easily, but they fix it quickly.
Review 41:Room and facilities were excellent, nice location and front staff was fruendly.
Review 42:Very comfortable bed.
Review 43:Good location, friendly staff and convenient food and services.
Review 44:nothing
Review 45:very close to airport
Review 46:Location and sign was no easily visible at nite
Review 47:Great breakfast and quietness
Review 48:It was about an hour to downtown Seattle. The area was not super good.
Review 49:Close to the airport.
Review 50:Good Breakfast
Review 51:Poor pick up service from airport
Review 52:Breckfast very poor
Review 53:The bed had a gully in the middle. We kept rolling towards each other. The refrigerator had a old bottle of Pepsi in it when we arrived.
Review 54:Good location
Review 55:My go to for stopovers at SeaTac. Clean and comfortable rooms, reliable airport shuttle, helpful staff. Excellent value
Review 56:Good shuttle service and very helpful staff. Room was clean and adequate for our needs. For killing time the near by park and lake was excellent.
Review 57:Lack of car Parking spaces
Review 58:Great HOT breakfast and staff was always present to restock, tidy up and focus on guest needs.
Review 59:Good rooms, comfort beds, close to the airport (No noice)
Review 60:The water from the shower was cold and were we ate breakfast it was messy and to small.
Review 61:Room service, always bothering
Review 62:I really like the neatness of the rooms
Review 63:Light bulbs missing in all lamps and remote had no batteries, Vending machine (drinks) not functioning.
Review 64:Shuttle service and driver
Review 65:Initial contact with reception staff upon arrival was less than helpful.
Review 66:Shuttle service was excellent. Carlos on the front desk was very helpful.
Review 67:The staff were nice and helpful. The location is great too.
Review 68:We had a few hours off and found the really nearby lake and town park: Angel Lake Park. Nice walking and bird life.
Review 69:Hot water not available when attempting to shower. ....fixed shortly after
Review 70:Shuttle to airport, selections on continental breakfast
Review 71:run down not very clean poor area not close to any restaurants
Review 72:They could do with a new van
Review 73:The ease of pick up at airport and drop off again next morning. Good value for the money.
Review 74:The worst thing is they stuck us in basement so safety was an issue as building was not secure
Review 75:The whole motel needs improvement.
Review 76:Ants in my room
Review 77:Shuttle
Review 78:Great breakfast
Review 79:I arrived at the hotel at 4.15pm but the room wasn't ready until 5.45pm which is very disappointing. I enquired about a partial refund yet the manager refused because I booked through booking.com
Review 80:12 minute walk from Seatac with sidewalks all the way
Review 81:nothing to complain about--only wish we had been aware of the cruise ship shuttle--would have saved time/money/hassle if we had known
Review 82:location--free airport shuttle--clean--good bed--OK breakfast--quiet, fresh room, though you could smell paint in hallways (they were remodeling) they also run a shuttle to the cruise ships, which they need to advertise
Review 83:Parking was a major concern but with the renovations going on it was understood
Review 84:My stay was pleasant. The rooms where nice the employees working always had a smile
Review 85:Hotel was undergoing renovations so many areas were partially demolished and unavailable. Building is old and showing its age.
Review 86:Price was very affordable and only about 3 miles to SeaTac rental car return.
Review 87:Nothing. It was great.
Review 88:The staff were very helpful and knowledgeable about the area. We liked the shuttle bus and the kind driver. The connection to light rail was an excellent way to get to the Boat Show at the Convention Center in Seattle.
Review 89:I didn't like that bathtub was not clean appropriately . The soap was not replaced even if we stayed 2 days. Not enough towels and face clothe. We like to take sometimes a shower in morning and one at night. We could of asked but we travel a lot and we always have lots of towels and face clothe . Never have to ask.
Review 90:I liked the fact that when we asked a room close to main entrance that it was respected and we got a room very close to main entrance and dining room . That was excellent.
Review 91:I waited 30 mins to be picked up from the airport. The driver jumped the curb when he came to pick me up, failed to put the car in park and I watched it nearly back into another van before he jumped back in and re jumped the curb!!!
Review 92:The bed was comfortable
Review 93:Thin walls - we were on basement level and could hear everytime someone walked by the door
Review 94:Proximity to airport Heater worked well (room was very cold when we walked in!)
Review 95:n/a
Review 96:checked in and young lady at desk was more than happy to tell where we could fine dinner and breakfast at hotel, along with asking if I had any other questions, and to call if some thing was needed
Review 97:Location wasn't great. Didn't feel too comfortable walking in area.
Review 98:Staff was friendly & well informed. Shuttles to & from airport & Light Link were great. Continental breakfast was good. Room was clean & comfortable.
Review 99:Bathroom was old, tub was peeling and rusty. In the morning we plugged a Iphone cord in the wall and the room power went off. Took about an hour to get back on. Sketchy looking area.
Review 100:The fact that they were able to provide a crib for our baby. Proximity to airport
Review 101:One employee at the check in counter took me 30 minutes to check in andI was 2nd in line. Received a wake up call at 2:45am which was notrequested. Front lobby could use some tlc did not make a goodimpression. Could not see if updates were being done but the chain linkaround the perimeter of the hotel doesn't give a good firstimpression either.
Review 102:Rooms were clean and bed was comfortable.
Review 103:No complaints at all. Would like to have spent a bit less, but the going rate is high in this area and I got good value for the cost.
Review 104:I needed to stay overnight for an airport connection and wanted a comfortable, nice but affordable place to stay to do some work. The staff was extremely accommodating (gave me a late checkout), have efficient, free shuttle service from the airport on call, and the room was very nicely appointed. Pleasantly surprised to find a full breakfast as well.
Review 105:There were ants in the room and could not get the shower to run cold water, and shower faucet was reversed; the hot side of the control was opposite its normal position. Reported ant situatioin to front desk. Did not show much concern.
Review 106:Staff was very helpful. Breakfast buffet was good. Location close to Sea-Tac. Bed was comfortable
Review 107:It is close to the airport so coming back into Seattle from other locations to catch an early flight necessitated having a room near the airport. The room was clean, roomy, comfortable, with refrigerator and microwave and served our needs very nicely. The staff was helpful and our stay was quite nice.
Review 108:We had to change our room because of the smell. Some kind of terrible strong air freshener or cleaner (the halls smelled too). It was so bad it gave us headaches after having the window opened all afternoon. Several very unclean aspects of the walls in the bathroom and bedroom. Too expensive for the quality of the room. Also it appears I was charged twice I am waiting to see if an adjustment will be made
Review 109:Friendly and helpful staff. Shuttle to the airport and light rail. Adequate breakfast
Review 110:There are better hotels in the area for about the same price. My husband did not like the bed and was not happy when hot water ran out. Tried to use the sauna and it didn't work....wasted 45 minutes waiting for it to get hot!
Review 111:Free parking
Review 112:Lack of knowledge of the receptionist when asked how do I get to thecity she didn't have an answer. When asking reception on how to workthe shower it took 3 phone calls in 25 minutes until an answer wasgiven. Unable to use the safe deposit box, when asked why the key forthe box could not be found and was lost. A needle was found in the roomon the floor next to the telephone table we had young children whocould have found it and hurt themselves. The lifts were out of orderand luggage had to be carried via the stairs. Renovations were takingplace and we were not told about these at the time of the booking. Aswitches by the washroom were labelled wrong for example a switchlabelled fan was the light switch for the washroom. The washroom basinwas outside the the washroom.
Review 113:Wifi was available.
Review 114:We checked in and they did not have our reservation. We booked aseperate reservation, and then got charged 2 times on our visa. One wasthe no show thru Booking.com (the reservation they could not find) andthe other was the reservation we made when we walked in and they couldnot find your reservation. Very poor experience over all...uggggg.
Review 115:Free shuttle to the airport
Review 116:Room very noisy with people talking loudly in corridors and reception late at night, and phone ringing- we were kept awake many hours.
Review 117:location close to SeaTac airport for overnight stay
Review 118:The front desk clerk was was very inexperienced. Check-In took much longer than it should have.
Review 119:Disappointed that the Booking.com price was exactly the same price the hotel charged. We were expecting a better price than what the hotel charged.
Review 120:The service was terrible, not only with myself, but with other peoplearound me as well. One couple trying to check out were told they wouldbe comp-ed their first night due to extreme issues, only to have theperson behing the des tell them that it would not happen and they wouldinstead give them a discount, which they then, did not do. Also, thebuildings outside doors were being re-done and were wide open, foranyone to walk in off the street at any time. I did not feel secure atall. I will never stay here again and it left a bitter taste in my mouthfor Quality Inn's in general.
Review 121:Poor upkeep, no elevators, broken furniture, unpleasant smell, brokenice machine, WiFi not working, sign to indicate which direction to turnfor our room had a gap in numbering, our room not on the list.
Review 122:Staff was friendly and trying to be accommodating, bathroom was clean.
Review 123:Hard to get to if you don't have a car. A bit of noise from thenearby airport.
Review 124:Compared to downtown places, the quality versus the price (andfriendliness) of this place is outstanding. It's a friendly and modest, seemingly family-run hotel, you feel safe and in good hands andeverything you need for a good nights sleep in a comfortable hotel isthere. I enjoyed my stay(s) very much.
Review 125:They forgot our wake up call for 4:30 am to catch our flight. The roomwas not clean or comfortable. The pillows and towels were terrible. Thefront desk staff seemed surly. The bathroom smelled musty and had somepoor patch jobs on several water damage spots. No restaurants in walkingdistance. Good thing because you don't want to walk in thisneighborhood. Luckily Pizza Hut delivers. And there were prostitutes outfront. So if you are into that kind of thing this is the place for you.
Review 126:We only stayed for 8 hours. It was functional and close to theparking companies and the airport. We had a mini fridge and a shuttleto the airport.
Review 127:Rather run down and dirty. Room was in the basement. Ice machine wasn'tworking and there was a candy wrapper left in our room on the floor fromthe previous tenet.
Review 128:Didn't like anything at the hotel in particular, but loved the fast andeasy way to Book it. Booking.com was excellent.
Review 129:Dirty rooms and very poor management
Review 130:Beds were dirty and sheets were not clean. There was pizza crust and milk carton under the bed. The manager was in no way helpful and would only offer to deduct $37 off of room since he stated that is what it would cost for housekkeping. I would never stay at this facility nor would I ever recommend it to anyone.
