Review 5：A really pretty hotel in a great location. With very nice rooms with great views over the Maekong river, comfortable beds, friendly, attentive staff, swimming pool and beautiful gardens this is a place I could have stayed for a week. Very relaxing. Not much happens in Chiang Saen but it is near the Golden Triangle and Chiang Khong where you can cross to Laos.
Review 6：The room for 3 people had no window. we would not have booked this if we knew. Upon arrival we wanted to change to a bungalow with view which was cheaper, the manager on duty went completely nuts, told us we had to pay the price for the expensive room with no window....even though the bungalows were cheaper. The same guy lost his cool completely an hour after our arrival, making us feeling really uncomfortable. We settled for a more expensive bungalow and paid the extra price

Review 8：We paid our room rate immediately the moment we checked in . They charge a percentage for credit card payment . So we paid by cash . The mistake we made was we forgot to ask for receipt. Then when we checked out, the counter staff insisted we haven't made our payment yet . I have no receipt to prove my payment . I asked him to call up his colleage . Luckily finally they agreed payment has been made . I know it is not the fault of the staff who asked for payment . In fact he apologized sincerely to us. It was the staff on duty the earlier day who didn't issue the receipt that put him in the situation. Another thing is the hotel doesn't provide adapter for charger . Also , be extra careful of the different floor level in the bathroom , i almost fell twice. The water heater is not warm enough , so it is better to take yr shower earlier . The room is small and the tv is also small . The so called bungalow is rather cramp .
