Reviews for Hotel Dar Dhiafa

Review 1:Need we say any more than that of possibly hundreds of hotels we have visited during our travels to most parts of the world we chose to return to Hotel Dar Dhiafa to celebrate our 50th.wedding anniversary and we were not disappointed. Chiara is the perfect hostess and has staff to match especially the chef. Our suite had an atmosphere.that matched the ambiance of the hotel and we were treated regally.

Review 2:Quaint and charming!! The owner was on-site every day. She allowed us to extend our time in the room to accommodate a late day flight. Very helpful staff.

Review 3:Hotel Dhiafa is beautiful with great attention to detail. The staff are so kind and helpful. The chef is great and the food delicious. Chiara is a wonderful boss and I hope to return.

Review 4:everything is perfect in this hotel, the decor, the rooms, the cleanliness, the food, the personnel. It is like stepping back in time, and you are in a story from a thousand and one nights. We loved the calm and the attention of the personnel to any request. The chef is top (we loved the Tunisian lamb tajine and the chaud froid de figues) and the breakfast is excellent. We absolutely loved the individual decor of the rooms, with ancient furniture typical from the region, personally selected by the owners. The attention to details is incredible and makes this little gem a magical place. We loved getting lost in the arrays of little courtyards, discovering a different room or a swimming pool at the end of the alley. Chiara and her husband are the perfect hosts and will do everything to make your stay as peaceful and perfect as possible. Higly recommended if you are looking for calm, privacy, relaxing and excellent quality/money ratio. This is the best hotel we ever stayed in and we will go back.

Review 5:Breakfast could have been improved. Fresh bread and not instant coffee. An evening turn down service, clearing of the pool area and fresh towels would have been welcome

Review 6:The hotel is gorgeous - cool bedrooms and courtyards connected by passageways. Typical Djerban style converted from several houses. The staff were very helpful, particularly the owner who was very present. Dinner was excellent

Review 7:I loved the architecture of the room and the overall atmosphere of the hotel. It is very, very, very cozy, beautiful, and romantic. It would be perfect for a couple's getaway. The restaurant on-site is quite good. The staff was very helpful.

Review 8:Flies - but that has nothing to do with the hotel and they don't get into your room.

Review 9:A hotel with great charm - a really lovely conversion of a group of old houses: the different courtyards give an intimate feel. Simple and very attractive decor using local materials. The owner is extremely pleasant and helpful, and the staff very nice. The restaurant has a limited menu, but everything I tried was good. Perfectly located for seeing the Djerbahood Street Art - which us why I was in Er-Riadh.

Review 10:Few places around to visit. Nothing to keep you busy.

Review 11:The place is located in the old town of Djerba, made of old houses that were converted to a hotel with minimum changes. It is good place for somebody who wants to live some time away fro the modern time pressures.

Review 12:The room was dusty, probably it was not used for a while and we found 3 cockroaches; 2 in the room and 1 by the swimming pool. The breakfast was a bit dissapointing and the staff of the restaurant was not very professional

Review 13:The decoration of the hotel is really impresive, our room was very big, duplex suite with private balcony... Very romantic. It is a really beautiful hotel

Review 14:Breakfast was considered ok, less then expected.

Review 15:Restaurant. Dinner was excellent

Review 16:Nothing.

Review 17:Everything. The place is amazing.

Review 18:Rooms were unique and magical. Pools lovely. Food was good. A great two nights spent at Dhiafa.
