Review 2：The hotel in all is wonderful. The staff is amazing. I thank Sara manager of booking she was so helpful and sweet. The location of the hotel is in middle of everywhere. You can easily walk to Bangladesh. And all shops are just minutes away. I stayed in Royal suite. It was awesome..

Review 3：A bit of construction going on in the resort. The pebble wash pathway in front of our unit was dug up and redone. So a bit of noise and inconvenience. The breakfast menu could be changed more regularly. We stayed for 7 days so the breakfast was unexciting after the 3rd day.

Review 6：This hotel stands on its own in Patong, only one that is right on the beach and completely removed from madness of the inner city while only several minutes walk to usual tourist traps. Maureen and her team provide excellent service.

Review 11：Hotel staff could do a better job of keeping rooms clean. The first room we stayed in had a white hot dog bun on the floor underneath the television drawer. There was also some mold around the rim of the bathtub. Yet despite this, it was among the cleanest rooms we stayed in at a hotel in Thailand.

The beach bar has fear prices, even cheaper than other bars near on the beach, especially in happy hours. The hotel included in a room price New years dinner and entertainment, that was the best party and dinner with lobesters!!! Need to add that it was suprise no only for us, but other guests as well.

Review 39：Rooms are a bit old and tired. Weak water pressure in the bath. Selfish guests 'reserving' poolside lounge chairs but only using them for a few minutes, depriving others. Poor selection at breakfast.

Review 41：It seems to save space they've placed everything too tight to eachother. There is a lack of space. It looks like they have spend good money for architecture. But still the lack of space is to feel. One has always the feeling of being in a well decorated labirynth when going to restaurant, pool, reception, etc.

Review 42：The location was good for seniors although Patong is no place for them. The stuff is nice enough if you are not up to some special care. The traditional thai hospitality is nowhere really available in Phuket if we are talking about the places upper middle class can afford. All the staff are nice. But still you may never be satisfied enough if you are up to some special interest. It's just a nice system hotel business.

Review 43：Most of the rooms only have views of other rooms. Mine was particularly poor with two tiny windows and minimal sunlight. The bathroom was poor and taking a shower was always an issue as the temperature fluctuates (depending on who is nearby and whether or not they are using their bathroom).

Review 53：While sitting at the beach/pool rarely did any bar staff ask for your order. We had to walk over, seek them out, flag them down, to order rather over priced drinks and food. On the second night of our stay, I was in the shower which has a very large window looking onto a little plant behind a cement wall. There is a little door leading to that area (to water the plant I suppose). I looked up after having my eyes closed for quite sometime and there was a man (in the hotel's white polo) looking at me. As soon as I saw him and screamed, he left. I called the concierge immediately and the manager came. They locked the door to that little area, after seeing how upset I was. No one seemed very apologetic and throughout the rest of the trip, he avoided us rather than seeking us out to check in. My overall suggestion is to avoid Patong if you are not seeking prostitution and ping pong shows. Go to another part of Phuket. If you are seeking those things, you probably don't need a 5 star resort!

Review 54：The resort itself is lovely. The rooms are furnished nicely and the lobby is spectacular. We loved the lounge chairs at the pool that overlook the beach but still have the convenience of being next to the pool and bar.

Review 130：the mosquitoes are vicious! my legs are covered in bites. although, i suppose this is to be expected in thailand. make sure you take repellant! i understand what other reviewers meant by the 'bathrooms' not being up to standard. if i'm honest, the bathrooms could be cleaned a bit better... however, considering that it is a hot, damp, humid environment, i can see how they would struggle keeping the mold at bay. my bathroom was actually fine.

Review 131：i read the reviews before i went and i have to say there were quite a few negative comments. overall, i'm glad i stayed there... the hotel and the service i received there, was fantastic. the location is fantastic... the hotel costs a bit more than others of the same standard (in the area) but it's one of very few hotels located right on the beach in Patong beach. the beach is public, but there were very few people around and it felt like a private one. probably due to it being low season the staff at this resort are amazing! they will bend over backward to see to your comfort. a special thank you to 'Mr View' who helped me arrange my excursions and taxi. Lovely, lovely man. Patong beach is a crazy place! but this resort is like a lovely, calm oasis right on the edge of all that craziness.
