Reviews for Siam Triangle Hotel
Review 1:Design of hotel not really charming, remembers the style of governement owned hotels 30 years ago. If you have a neighbour who runs the AC the whole night, good luck for sleeping. Bring your ear plugs.
Review 2:Perfect location, just at the entrance of the city. But make sure you book a room with river view.
Review 3:1 night the water was absent. The pool seats could do with some padding. Wi Fi was average in the room
Review 4:The hotel was immaculate and staff were very nice. The room was excellent and shower and bath lovely. Clean and crisp. View over the mekong was spectacular.
Review 5:I really hated the fact that the toilet and the shower where one and the same room. So that it was impossible to go to the toilet and keep your feet dry once somebody had used the shower. The pool could be a lot better maintained, and the umbrella's around it are mostly DIY. The breakfast was also pretty limited.
Review 6:They have a nice view that looks like you're right up to the water. The kids also liked their spaghetti.
Review 7:The nebouring environment.the hotel situated very close to its nebough making it very very noisy especially during the holiday season. The Thai people are very insensitive to others.they like to play music or sing karaoke at full blast. It could be my last time to stay in this hotel. The noisy music played by a house at the hotel front gate is Unbearable.
Review 8:Swimming pool, restaurant with the river view, friendly staff, room facilities
Review 9:Shower had no water pressure and was cold. We were in garden view rooms so was noisy with vehicles passing at night. Breakfast was cold and not very nice. pool needs a good clean for algae.
Review 10:The position on the Mekong is great. A little out of town but with a car its fine. Rooms and beds are fantastic, very clean.
Review 11:I personally preferred softer mattress though.
Review 12:We got the rooms with the river view in which we could watch the sun rise just from our balcony. Great! The view was very beautiful and the weather was also nice. Our rooms were good, well equipped and clean. Breakfast was standard but it was nice to dine with the river view.
Review 13:It was over 1km from bus stop to hotel - perhaps we should have asked staff for advice on getting to and from the town. Restaurant and bar closed at 21:30 each evening.
Review 14:Good size clean rooms. Breakfast buffet overlooking the Mekhong River. Staff arranged complimentery car to bus stop on departure.
Review 15:The very open spacious foyer is extremely noisy. Combine the music with the fountain, which echos terribly, it's not a peaceful relaxing place (which is what we went there for).
Review 16:Great suite, lovely bathroom. Comfy bed! The view from the balcony over the river is lovely.
Review 17:Be careful with the room description, as they don't match the photo. If you want to be able to see the Mekong and Laos, make sure ''river view'' is in the description. A motorbike is needed to see all the sites, so hire one and enjoy this historical location.
Review 18:I took a friend here for a bit of luxury, history, and nature and the hotel delivered. From the welcoming drink to the evening soya milk, from the Mekong river views to the lovely rooms with shower and bath, we were wowed.
Review 19:Poor breakfast.
Review 20:Bath tube. Big and clean room. Mekong view. Very calm. Free and guarded parking. The pool looks nice but we didn't try it.
Review 21:Swimming pool is not clean as i expected
Review 22:Flexibility
Review 23:The pool was not much cleaner.
Review 24:The location is great, a short walk to town and on the river, what more could you want.
Review 25:The dining room is a bit too expensive for a common taste menu. The waiter on that evening was, very grumpy. The fish Larb was toooo hot that I had to leave it wasted after one bite? The mountain view room is only a roadside room very noisy with all the traffic and full blast music from the neighbors across the street.
Review 26:Excellent river view, facilities in the room including bath room and the reverside swimming pool, a walking distance to the local market
Review 27:The staff was ignorant and not very helpful. Room was not cleaned well enough.
Review 28:I liked the location. And the view and the fact the hotel is close to the Golden Triangle, nice area.
Review 29:Very unfriendly staff, no Internet even if they claim they have. Poor food: half of what is on the menu is not available, meat in vegetarian meal, bug in the salad.
Review 30:Light and clean room except one flying cockroach one day.
Review 31:Location is not great - hard to find & takes10mins walk to the "city centre"/main street.
Review 32:Great view right on the Mekhong river. Nice & rather big swimming pool. Buffet-breakfast with quite large choice.
Review 33:Streetnosie at pool public foot path between river, pool and the hotel. Locals passing by all the time, so no privacy. River terras has a huge potential for a great dining experience, but it lacks decoration and charm. Dirty slippers in room. Had to change room, because of non-working safe. Staff not very welcoming
Review 34:Nice riverview. Seen the limited choice in this area, probably one of the best choices for a hotel.
Review 35:The bikes need some maintenance
Review 36:We stayed in a riverview room where we enjoyed the sunrise over Mekong River, friendly staff. The hotel offers free bikes for touring Chiang Saen town and the old temples
Review 37:A little bit of roadside traffic noise & the water for the bath, could have been hotter. Have to be pretty happy, if this is all there is to complain about.
Review 38:Siam Triangle is without doubt one of the nicest hotels I have had the pleasure of staying at. The rooms are clean & large with an awesome bathroom. The staff were friendly, courteous & helpful. The location on the banks of the Mee Kong river is great. Though a little distance from downtown Chiang Saen, some sort of motor transport is advised. Thoroughly enjoyed staying there.
Review 39:Need to walk across the street between the parking and the hotel and not boybell help carry the bags from the parking.
Review 40:room is very good and convenience. I like the bath room with the tub. Room look very clean. The restaurant is very good view. You can see the river next to it. The food is alos very good.
Review 41:Staff were attentive and pleasant. Location was excellent.
Review 42:Location on the river, Nice pool
Review 43:there is nothing that i did not like
Review 44:it was very easy to get to, it had good frendly service with great pool area
