Boasting a modern spa area, to which guests have free access, Domeniul Dornei is amongst the Bistrita Mountains in Dirna Arini, a 10-minute drive from Vatra Dornei. WiFi is free and free parking is under surveillance.

Review 1：* Second year at Domeniul Dornei, somehow had a feeling of a downgrade experience from the last year * Thin walls between the rooms can create a really big problem when the neighbors are in the mood for talking until 5 AM * Shower doors are not perfectly sealed created a small pool in tha bathroom, pretty unpleasant. Even if you're careful when you shower, it doesn't make a difference * Our beds matress was a bit curved from being overused (maybe others room have better beds). If you have back problems that would def bother you for a good night sleepl

I hope they will grow from year to year. * If you are lucky to be hosted near an empty room, you'll have a pleasant and quiet experience at night, exterior isolation being really great. * Nice staff, clean rooms (very important), a bigger food selection that the previous year. Review 4：We had nice weather and we enjoyed especially Trans Rarau trip...it is spectacular in autumn time to travel on that road; My son enjoyed the pool and walking around property, and in Vatra Dornei you can see some interesting places, too, and location it is 2 min (by car) from Vatra Dorney city.

Review 5：The careless attitude of the staff. Thin walls between the rooms. Overall noisy level of both other guests and the staff. Almost no selection at the breakfast. Apart from empty dishes. And according to the staff no food to replenish them. So booked for 3 days, but left after 1!

Review 9：It is an amazing hotel with a very beautiful location. Surrounded by mountains, everything is green and fresh which makes you feel so great. The stuff is very friendly and helpful. I really liked the variety of food in the menu and also the fact that we were able to eat outside on the terrace in the middle of the nature. The rooms are big, clean and also the toilets. We had a nice welcome at the arrival. The receptionist was very helpful as I had to find out some details for my bus connections when I was leaving. The hotel really meets the standards of 4 stars because of the pool, the steam and sauna. It also have a kids club which is very good for family with small kids. I was also impressed of the terrace on the 2nd floor which has very nice swing chairs with an impressive view of the mountains. In few words, the hotel is amazing and I will definitely come back soon. I also recommend it to all my friends.

Review 13：Great location with fantastic views. The silence in the nature and the fresh air were amazing. Large and clean room. The shower is quite small but the bathroom is clean and nice. An impressive menu at the restaurant, with plenty of dishes to choose from, both traditional food and international. The breakfast and all the food we ate was fantastic! Great service at the restaurant.

Review 14：We were here last year too, amd we hoped to find it in better condition actually. The road got a bit worse, the pool area got some mold and some facilities broke down (one of the saunas and the wood around the pool). Also, they did not finish the building near the main villa, hope they do next year. I wish them the best of luck, one of the best places to stay and eat in vatra dornei.

It was expensive considering de mediocre quality of the dishes served... the food wasn`t altered or something but it was made and served poorly. and above all expensive. you can have better food for half the price almost anywhere in Vatra Dornei.

Review 30：It should be more towards a 5 star hotel. It is very clean, everything is new, very nice terrace, play room for the kids, very good service, excellent restaurant (try some bucovinean food), wonderful view.

Review 31：The cleaning staff didn't do their job. In one week, we didn't have our room cleaned not even once. They just left the towels on the toilet and, the next day after stating this problem at the reception, they didn't even change them. Also, the pool was opened from 8:00 am but the cleaning lady started to wash the floor around 9:30 am, while we were already in the pool. The breakfast is good, but having to choose from menu a la carte with pretty high prices makes it difficult to have a proper meal in that price (you can pay extra to get what you want). Depending on the person who brings the food, you can get a smaller portion (we got, for example, 1 slice of bread instead of 2, less and less butter every day for the same price). The minibar (fridge) in the room didn't work (the drinks were warm).Taking a shower is an adventure as the Ecolab soap machines are pretty useless, and the water doesn't ran properly (because of the low pressure).Things can be improved to call it a 4 stars hotel.

Review 32：The location is excellent. The rooms, swimming pool & dry sauna, Belvedere and restaurant offer a great view. The interior design is really nice. It has everything for a relaxing holiday, but there is still room for better services.

Review 33：The breakfast consists of an a la carte menu. If the sum of your order supercedes 25 lei, you have to pay the difference. I had to pay 3,5 lei extra. Moreover, the breakfast menu is not varied enough.

Review 61：First of all we couldnt find the way to the hotel because there were no sign for it and we had to ask some local people who kindly lead us to hotel threw a narrow path that we could never believe that it was a road leading to a hotel.Secondly the girls at the reception knew only few english words and they hardly knew how to do the check in and how to be paid by a credit card at the check out and give a receit.Only the girl at the restaurant knew her job very well .The hotel itself is very isolated and you dont have to do anything there in the night.When we ask to use the indoor pool they told us that it was occuped.
