Review 1：The diversity of breakfast was limited, cigarette smoke was raising from restaurant and entering the room, the cleaning of the room wasn't so good

Review 3：There are some basic 4 star hotel misses: iron in the room, elevator, but biggest issueis that for a famiky travelling with a child it is extremely hard to avoid tge ciggarate smoke. Tge restaurant has a non smoking area but it is in the same room with thr smoking one and nothing in between them. There are ashtrays at the hotel entry and people smoke there a lot making the entire hotel smell like cigarette. However, if they would address the smoking issue we would definetely come back. The rooms were causy and simple but nicely furnished.

Review 5：Not as a complaint, but rather as suggestions: the rooms could have been warmed a little during the day also. I was expecting more of the breakfast for a 4 star hotel. Also, the rooms are not very well isolated, so we could hear neighbours making love.

Review 58：I loved the central location, the austro-hungarian architecture with its high ceilings and pointy towers as well as the retro chic atmosphere inside the room. The staff was friendly and advised us on hotspots and activities - though Vatra Dornei seems to be an old people's resort, we were persuaded of the contrary after finishing a mountain trail of intermediate difficulty. It was absolutely worth it. The fact that the sauna/jacuzzi can be booked exclusively is a definite perk and weighs heavily in the value-for-money equation.

Review 59：We liked very much that the historic location - the hotel was built at the end of the 19th century (more exactly in 1896) - has kept the atmosphere, the looks and the likes, offering in the same time a very up-to-date services, very good food and very modern SPA facilities. We tried the sauna and the jacuzzi - we liked the fact that we coud make a reservation and for the respective time the sauna and jacuzzi was all ours. Overall the location is superior due to the fact that there are not many rooms and the entire hotel seems to be made for only few very special people. In the same time the price/quality ratio is extremely good. We recommend Hotel Carol to anyone who wants an outstanding leisure time.

Review 60：Some improvements are needed here and there (bathroom installations, toiletries, the "looks" of the reception). Although we arrived late - after 6 PM the room was not ready. But the person at the reception had the good idea to invite us to use the SPA during this time.

Review 64：I booked this hotel as a present for my mother's birthday, but evenif I mentioned 3 times that I want to pay for all charges including roomservice and massage, the hotel staff charged separatelly my mom for themassages. This is really crapy, I won't book there again! Even thelocation and facilities are good, the staff needs to learn how to use acomputer! And by the way, they didn't charged me yet after a week.

Review 67：The service in the restaurant is very poor.We gave the order for dinner at 09.30 PM and till 11.15 PM we did not get anything to eat.Ultimately we left the restaurant without eating ,disgusted with the waiting.The staff at the restaurant did not even have the courtesy to inquire and remedy the situation. The mattresses in the rooms were not comfortable.They were hard and I was unable to get a good nights sleep. The towels were not cleaned properly and they were old and were worn out.

Review 68：Really unexpected, but amazing! Well worth the detour... the spa services are great and very cheap ( for any foreigner..) the rooms are beautiful & comfortable. And the restaurant of the hotel is great.

Review 69：1) The food was not so good, I think their chef was not really a chef, but more of a local hobby cook with no experience into clients expectations for a 4 star hotel. The menu was also pretty poor. 2) The relaxation massage produced no effect, no joy in the body, same impression about masseur as I said earlier about the cook.
