Kukučka Mountain Hotel and Residences sells fast on our site. Featuring a spa area, Kukučka Mountain Hotel and Residences is centrally located in Tatranská Lomnica Ski Resort, 650 feet from one of the steepest cable cars in Europe, going to Lomnický Peak.
Opened in December 2011, it offers modern-style accommodation with free Wi-Fi and a ski-to-door access.
All apartments are decorated in mountain style design featuring wooden furnishings as well as stone walls. They come with a seating area and bedrooms, each equipped with a flat-screen TV.
Kukučka’s restaurant serves traditional Slovak cuisine and a great variety of international dishes. A cigar lounge is also available.

Review 6：The design of the appartment was fabulous . It was like home from home feeling and the interior is warm and welcoming . To have there jacuzzi was very good idea - it's so good to relax after snowboarding(or skiing) . We were sooo happy to get breakfast in room after beeing late to get to the restourant area - thank you to staff very much ! Staff are very helpful and very kind . Everything went very smooth and easy . The hotel exterior and loung was studded with the christmas trees and garlands on balconies . We also noticed nice cuckoo clock - maybe thats why this hotel was named for ? Kukučka means cuckoo and when it appeard again - it was a time to go to taxi . It was perfect to be here and we are willing to come back here one day and if you reading this review i could ensure you that you will not make a mistake by choosing this hotel and their wonder full staffs . Review 8：We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment, which was amazing. The beds were comfortable, the bathroom was nice, little kitchenette well equipped. Our 5 yo son loved the play area downstairs by the reception and my father discovered "the smoking room" and fell in love instantly. The outdoor jacuzzi is amazing (unless someone using it before you forgets to close it and it is too cold for you to use)

Review 11：- wifi, very slow by modern standards (0.44 Mb/s) - details (it's a 4* hotel after all): if there are 3 adults in the apartment, 1 tiny bottle of shampoo and shower gel is just not sufficient enough. Also maybe adding conditioner to bathroom toiletries?

Review 14：It is a great hotel in perfect location. We've stayed there in summer but I assume it is even better in winter. Our apartment was big enough and equipped with everything we need. I recommend this property for everyone.

Review 15：Clean and quiet apartment, friendly and professional staff. Rich breakfast. Great mountain view, even out of the sauna window or jacuuzzi (especially at Lomnický Štít). The cable car station to the Lomnický Štít is only about 200 meters away.

Review 16：Cleaning service could be better. Maybe it depends on accomodation type-we stayed in apartment. Our beds were twice unmade, the floor was not cleaned. But it was only minor problems.

Review 20：WiFi did not work in the building we stayed in (D building). I think that is pretty much normal for all the hotels away from the big city. It was fine in the restaurant part of the hotel. If the room faces the steet, traffic can be heard.

Review 21：Very clean and cozy. I did not rate beds very high only bc they were very hard, but again, I find that to be pretty standard in Europe. Down bedding made up for that.

Review 22：Wellness is although not free but worth the 5-10€, especially if you are alone. Nice stone-wood mixture on walls and in general. Good child program options. Cozy environment nice and friendly personnel.

Review 24：The room was very spacious and neat. The mountain view was excellent. The restaurant staff (especially Marek) were very kind and always smiling. Dinners at the restaurant were delicious. I had to cancel our last night (during the stay) just couple of days before our departure and didn't have to pay for it.

Review 33：Nice modern hotel. The hotel is located about 100m from the ski lifts. Our double room had a living room with a full kitchen and a separate bed room. It had a big flat screen TV in the living room and the bed room. The bath room had a large corner tub with all kinds of engineering that made it bubble. Wi-Fi? Yes, good enough! We were there to ski not to surf. Our holiday was in the Tatra mountains, not on Facebook. Great hotel, I would go back there any day!

Review 34：After our arrival was room cold (19 degrees), heating was off. After complaining was heating started by people on reception /remote-control heating/. It was in the evening around 19.00, so when we went to bed around midnight, it still was not comfortable warm. I did not know, I should ask for heating in advance... Wellness is small and is problem to get in. I recommend to make reservation right after arrival, because making it 1 hour before you want to use it /as we were told/ is not enough. Finally we visited sauna in basement of our residence, small, new clean and private, only for me and my husband.

Review 35：Location near to ski centre, very nice staff, new residence with apartments made from wood and stone, natural materials.. Beautiful view to Lomnicky peak right from my bed. New and clean sauna with great wooden rocking couchette in private rest room, with TV, if someone prefers watching it in sauna. TV was in apartment twice, one in bedroom, one in bedroom. Hotel and residences is nice designed and investition of money and peoples energy can be seen everywhere. Thats why I am sorry I have to write something negative..

This is unfortunatelly not an international standard. Secondly, they close restaurant and bar at 10pm??!! but you are to make order until 9.30pm, because 10pm probably means the time, when a crew is at home;)

Review 71：Breakfast was fair for 4* standard: sometimes there were no fruits, sometimes other dishes were finished and no one cared to fill up even when asked, coffee was quite bad. In our room sink was leaking. Bedding wasn't at its best (feather pillow was shapeless and did not provide enough support).

At these prices you should not have to hunt your own food in the morning. In the evening we were simple ignored the first day - reason for us to eat elsewhere all week.
