Review 1：Amazing location, comfortable beds, ice cold air conditioning, friendly staff, generously sized rooms... I could go on! Ban Aothong has been our home for almost a week now. We booked for three nights and haven't been able to drag ourselves away. The hotel is perfectly located for exploring Trang city and getting out on the train, bus or tuk tuk. There are plenty of delicious restaurants nearby and a great little market for street food and cheap eats in the evening. The staff can't do enough to be nice to you, and the maid does a full, deep clean and bed change every single day. It's one of the best places we've stayed in Thailand to date.

Review 2：Not many staff to help you if you're carrying big luggage and there is no elevator. You need to climb to your room on your own. It's no problem if you're fit, though.

Review 3：The room is quite spacious and very clean. Although the hotel is right next to the train station, noise won't sneak in your room. If you forgot to bring your clothes or stuffs, a super store is just right on the opposite site of the hotel. Very convenient!

Review 5：We have big room in the highest ground. Balcony was huge and it was nice to watch kids playing in the school nearby. We come to Trang via rain and location of this hotel was excellent.

Review 6：1 For some reason the Internet kept disconnecting. I never had problems connecting, but always had problems maintaining the connection more than 5 minutes. All I had to do to re-obtain the connection was to restart my computer. 2. I stayed 4 nights. The night clerk was sound asleep--with the front door wide open-- every morning when I would come downstairs at 6 AM. He would continue to sleep until 7 AM or later. I never felt there was any danger (other than the traffic) in Trang, however.

Review 8：This quaint hotel is centrally located adjacent to the train station & one end of the Main Street. It has mixed decor but with a Thai theme. The room itself was spotlessly clean.

Review 9：Breakfast very basic - a coffee and a slice of Trang cake. Staff don't speak the best English (hey it's Thailand, we shouldn't expect it), so for onward travel arrangements I used PJ's across the road. . She's great - sorted everything out for me.

Review 10：Ban Ao Thong is conveniently located about 50m from the train station, although I arrived by bus and it's quite a bit further from the bus station (12 baht, 10 minute journey on local bus). The room was reasonably good value - I opted for a twin on the first floor as it has windows, rather than the cheaper windowless doubles on the ground. Did its job. Bathroom clean and functional. Wifi good. My destination was Koh Muk but I decided to break the journey by staying the night in Trang. Trang itself is great for an overnight visit - the night markets are fun (great food) and the nearby is very pleasant (and popular) for an evening run.

Review 11：Poor service. My wife and I got to pull our travel luggage (big luggage as we are away from home for 60 days) from the ground to the 4th floor and vice versa when checking out.

Review 12：Comfortable and clean room. 4 bottles of water and 2 packets of 3 in 1 Nescafe stock everyday. For the money you are paying, there is not complaint.

Review 15：We requested twin beds and so were put on the 4th floor. The room was nice and very clean, but the stairs were very steep and there is no elevator. We had to request help getting our luggage up and down. The hotel was very good about assisting.

Review 18：Location, less than a 1 minute walk from the train station. At the same time, we had a quiet room and never heard a train... Nearby you have a dozen touroperators. We can highly recommend Happy Trip & Tour and specifically a lady called Sai. She arranged a 1 week island trip for us including transport and accomodation on Koh Ngai and Koh Kradan. She knows the islands and accommodation.

Review 20：Located about 200 mtrs from the railway station terminal - no noise. Central location. Clean rooms. Relax and enjoy a complimentary coffee in the seating area outside the hotel entrance. Good value for price. Breakfast not included, but good restaurants close by.

Review 23：Beautiful hotel and room. Location next to railway station was perfect for getting the cheap transport from and to the bus station. No noise from trains and our room overlooked them. Great restaurant next door for breakfast and tea.

Review 24：The room was lovely and clean! Its really muggy in Trang so was a big relief to have somewhere you could chill out. The staff are lovely also! Trang is really only good in the evening. Me and my other half went there are were disappointed as there is nothing to do in the day. We had a nap and got up in the eve to go for dinner and right outside the hotel it ha completely changed! Amazing markets on the doorstep! Lovely people too!

Good facilities with tea/coffee making, tv, fridge, powerful shower with hot water, good a/c. Although it says breakfast is not included they do provide self service tea/ coffee and Trang cake free for breakfast until 11am in the reception area. Also had lovely terrace area with some of the cheapest cold beer of my whole trip!
