Review 1:THE ONLY REAL PROBLEM WAS THE SIZE OF THE BATHROOM. FOR TWO PEOPLE TRYING TO GET READY IN THE MORNING, IT WAS IMPOSSIBLE. THE ROOM ITSELF WAS LARGE ENOUGH, JUST NOT NEARLY ENOUGH ROOM IN THE BATHROOM.

Review 2:the room was dirty, sink had a film of dirt on it, blood drops on the tile floor and semen on the wall next to the bed.

Review 4:We booked this room on 9/1 and found that there were no rooms withour reserved preference left when we arrived - now how can that be,unless there was some serious overbooking?

Review 5:Front desk staff very courteous and professional to help find us a"second choice" for room request.

Review 6:Check in more than 2 hours late, room with no windows giving outside !!! Totally unseen: the window was giving on the inside of the building directly to the elevator !! Ugly noisy, unacceptable. Not worth at all the reputation of the chain.

Review 8:the bed was not a king, was very uncomfortable, it was a couch pull out in the middle of a suite, we knew that but expected the bed to be a LOT MORE COMFORTABLE, we asked for a river view & was told that was all that was available on the river

Review 11:The rooms were beautiful and comfortable. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The hotel was very conveniently located to all the sites we wanted to see. All within walking distance. Wonderful stay.

Review 12:Towels were cheap/thin, pull bar in shower fell off, single ply toilet paper - cheap and the front desk personel spoke with heavy foreign accent(not from U.S./hard to understand. Parking was expensive and no real alternative. Breakfast buffet was cold. Not what you expect from 4 star hotel.

Review 14:Housekeeping did not appear the first day we were there. A gratuity we left in the room was taken, but no trash cans were emptied, no towels were replaced, bed was not made, no glasses or cups were replaced.

Review 16:As a previous hotel employee, I was a little disappointed that the staff wasn't more personable. The valet and doormen were incredibly friendly and attentive- but the front desk staff was unimpressive as they didn't really talk to us much about our stay prior to check-in or during check-out.

Review 18:We purposely booked the Hyatt to have dinner in the restaurant which overlooked the river, but it was closed for the weekend. In addition, the cost of parking a car was exorbitant at $25.00.

Review 19:The staff were very helpful when we had a problem with the air conditioning, as we were moved to another room. Secondly, the room overlooked the Savannah River.

Review 20:Final payment...still having issues with hotel and american express...total bill was 836.24 and my credit card was charged 904.16. Trying to work with Am Exp to get resolved.

Review 21:It was our 44th wedding anniversary...we have always loved going to the hyatt and your pricing helped us enjoy our anniversary even move. Hotel is nice but use to be a little bit better than this stay.

Review 23:The room view from 439 was excellent, we becam engaged on the balcony of the lounge overlooking River Street and the hotel surprised us with Champange and dessert when we returned to our room.

Review 24:Wifi worked fine when I was in my room on the 2nd floor the first 2 nights. When I was upgraded to a room on the 7th floor the wifi never did work so that was a little frustrating.

Review 25:Everyone was very efficient, courteous and helpful. I asked to stay an extra night and was upgraded to a beautiful room on the 7th floor overlooking the river with a huge balcony. It was excellent!!

Review 26:We showed up to check in around 530pm for our pre-paid king room and were told that they only had 2 double bed rooms left. They refused to give us a discount but finally agreed to give us free parking. They seemed to think they were doing us a favor by charging us the king rate for a double room. Having a larger bed is what we wanted as it was my wife and myself. We were also told "this happens more than you think" as if that was supposed to make it ok.

Review 27:Front desk clerks were not very friendly. One was very difficult to understand. Our check in time was 3:00pm. Our room was not ready until 3:20 pm which isn't really a big deal but when you're paying that kind of price for a room, it should be ready when promised. I can say that the valet service was great. Everyone who was associated with the service was very polite and helpful.

Review 29:Confusing valet parking on how to retrieve car. We went out the front and walked all the way around the building and down intothe garage. Bathroom a little small.

Review 31:Terribly hot in the room! We had the thermostat set as low as it would go and the room was at 80 degrees. When called to ask for a fan they said they gave them all out already. Miserable hot night!

Review 34:The staff was very friendly and very helpful. We had an issue with the tv remote and called the desk. The maintenance guy was there in about 1 minute and gave us another one. The lobby is beautiful and the hotel location was great. The gym is also great. Everything was very clean and would stay there again.

Review 36:The location was outstanding but parking was not an option with a $24/day fee. Majority of the windows to the rooms looked into the interior of the hotel which lack natural sunlight. Internet was extremely slow on my IPad/iPhone, had to use own internet connection.

Review 37:Key would not open room. Said it was time change. They did send someone to open door then at 10 pm after we were in bed they were trying to get into our room to. Rekey door!! When we turned on shower water flooded the bathroom.

Review 38:For the amount we paid for the room, which was doubled this weekend then it normally sells for, valet parking should have been included in the room expense.

Review 40:The water in shower did not flush away soon enough: next morning fatty layer; cleaning should have noticed; keys were dramatic; drilling was noticed, but only in hotel, not with reservation: I came for work and could often not workj in my room!!! it would be reasonable to get a percentage off the price becaus eof this (e.g. > 30%)....

Review 44:Very dated and under construction. Worse value of money I have spent ever! I stay at Hyatt Hotels because I can count on a 4-5 star hotel; this has me questioning why Hyatt would allow this hotel to represent them!

Review 45:Our TV did not work the entire time of our stay. We had no hot water our last day and the WiFi didn't work either. The maintenance man gave us a free breakfast coupon for all our problems. When we arrived home I see that the breakfast we were charged for. So much for free breakfast.

Review 49:A lot of the rooms under construction or renovation had their blinds wide open. You can see piles of materials from the outside balconies as well as from the inside balconies. Mattresses, tiles, tools etc. Construction noise was heard in the morning.

Review 58:Bathroom had tile dislodged, with hole like a rat had been there, calking around toilet bad over half inch of calk around toilet and cracked, dirty, tv set was old didn't seem to have high def, I like to have the comforts of home when traveling and tv set was awful! I like a clean bathroom! I will not stay there again! We moved to another hotel after the two day stay and it was clean! Paying for wifi is crazy in this day and age.

Review 59:Location, the guys who parked our cars were very nice and the gift shop person was nice.

Review 62:We checked in at 3:00 and were not told the water would be cut off the following morning at 9:00, although it was known...routine maintenance. When we returned to our room around 8:30, there was a letter slipped under the door that indicated the water cut-off from 9:00 to 3:00 the next morning. We then had to change our schedule and get up two hours earlier than planned to get our showers. I called for the manager and a rude staff member said, "Didn't you get a letter?" I told her I wanted to speak to the manager, as indicated to call 0 if I had questions or concerns on the letter. No one let me know in advance about this water shut-off, I said on Voice Mail to manager. I asked for a call to my house to discuss a bill adjustment...no one has called. I would have stayed somewhere else had I known in advance. I was furious! Never will I stay there again and I advise others not to stay there. I hope this message gets to the manager. I was in room #360...a terrible experience. I had hoped for a leisurely two days on River Street...that was not the case. I'm extremely disappointed in the lack of customer service. Libbie Kurinec

Review 64:Everything was perfect. It was our wedding anniversary and the room was great, service was great and location was great. Definately will return next year.

Review 65:The only bad thing was the adjoining door to the neighboring room allowed too much noise to be spread to our room. The mature couple next door argued from early afternoon until 2 am making sleep difficult for us.
