Tatragolf Resort in Velka Lomnica is just a 5-minute walk from the 27-hole Black Stork Golf Club. All units at the resort have modern furnishings and a fully-equipped kitchen. An aqua-park is also available on-side in July and August.

Review 1：Placing is too far from city and from Tatras. Breakfast is too poor and not included into room price.

Review 3：First of all the hotel announces a reasonable price at the booing website, but there is a 20 euros surcharge in the small print, which makes a weekend stay almost double as expensive. The rooms are OK, but to call the place a four stars hotel is a joke. We were there during low season when the hotel was completely empty, asked for a mountain view room but got a room on the ground floor next to the parking lot. Finally it is only technically in Tatranska Lomnica, the resort is actually 10 km away along the ugly road from Poprad. Our general impression was that the establishment is a pretentious tourist trap, there are plenty of better places all around the Tatra Mountains.

Review 9：Price does not include 20 euro for cleaning! It might be booking.com's fault, but it seems like the hotel is aware of it and does nothing. A not very pleasant converaation with the hotel's manager showed he doesn't really care, and sent me over to booking.com to complain. Besides that, the carpet in tge room was very dirty with many stains.

Regarding to the bathroom, the bath is poor - there is only a small partition so the water splashes all over the room, there are no hangers for clothes and there were notallways hot water. The so called high-tech elivator buttons are extremely difficult to opperate.

Review 16：The staff was very rude. The elevators are positioned between floors so you need to carry your luggage by hand at least one floors up. There are smeared dead insects on the walls. We asked to set the apartment beforehand for 5 but when we arrived very late the apartment was not ready. It is very hard to find parking places near the apartment. The distance to attractions is too long by a car. When we arrived to the hotel the first guest we saw was drunk. There is no phone line in the apartment. There was no light in the kids room. There was no air conditioning and it was hot. There was a problem with the automatic lights on the floor so we had to find our way in the dark most of the vacation. The elevator buttons sometime don't work properly so most times you can't use it.

Review 19：We booked a room for €37 / night and didn't notice the €20 "additional fee for nothing" in the description written in small letters. Be careful. Nice place if you want to have your own kitchen and a small terrace.

Review 20：balcony is not safe for little childern due to a wide gap between end of balcony floor and the fence, little childern might fall through. spiders all over.

Review 23：Spacious flat. Very comfortable beds in a quite environment. Close to the Golf Course with a nice view on the Tatras. The restaurant is good and the staff were very helpful. We fill be back in winter.

Review 24：Well, there's quite a list, please beware: - there's a hidden tax of 20 euros not mentioned anywhere - for the 4-star establishment, they had us pay for the espresso in the morning - not very easy to find, even using GPS - had to drive to get breakfast and it was crowded

Review 26：This place is started to be very greedy in opposed to other places in Slovakia. This means that every extra service cost a lot of money, like jacuzzi and sauna. Pay attention, the pool exists BUT it is closed! It is very annoying that in the middle of August the pool is closed. For those that are choosing the place because it has a pool, be careful.

Review 32：4 stars is definitely too much. 3 would be sufficient. The waitress was rude. The carpet in our room was dirty. The wifi sucks! You wouldn't watch a movie in the evening. There rooms are not cleaned during the stay.

Review 34：no cleaning of apartment at all, though we stayed for 7 nights. All services and facilities are very frugal. Staff speaks very little english, if at all. Though the days were quite hot, no cooling solutions (no A/C in apartments) - even ventilators - so staying indoors during the day was out of the question.

Review 58：Even before I entered the room, they had charged me 20 Euros for cleaning services. I paid 30 euro for one night stay and additional charges seemed to me irrelevant. In total I paid 50 euros and cleaning services almost doubled the price. They tried to explain that cleaning fees are fixed for whole stay and had to be paid in advance. They told me that If I stayed 10 nights It would only be a 2 euros per night. What kind of explanation is that? If someone pays 300 euro for 10 night stay, do you still need to charge him 20 euros for a cleaning fee? Unbelivable. I mean, had travelled around the world and I know that sometimes you are forced to pay local taxes but I never ever paid for cleaning services. They also offered me a room which was located on a ground level with no privacy. People walking right in front of my balcony. I was asking for a room with a nice view but all they got me was an astonishing view on a huge bus parking outside on a parking lot. As soon as we got to the appartment someone next door started drilling. Apparently they had not told us the next door appartment was under the reconstruction. Welcome to Slovakia I am confident that for 50 euro/night you can find a definitely better place even closer to High Tatras with a nicer view.

Review 88：I did not liked breakfast, especially coffee. When i asked for espresso from machine the waitress answered no cuz today we are very tired from night (was 1st January) but anyhow....

Review 89：The dissapointment is the newly open restaurant TATREE. A real disaster. 1.) The staff of the restauarant - we don't know, if they were professional waiters - probably not, but they forgot to order in the kitchen more then half of our orders (they were not writing down what 10 people ordered, so it was kind of predictable). When after some 30 minutes of waiting some of the ordered food arrived, we have claimed the rest of the orders, but we were told, that the kitchen is already closed and that the chef will: "kill me if I will come with more orders" ... what to say? no comment. 2.) In the drink menu was among other drinks also champagne: Moet and Vueve Cliquot. As we all love champagne, we have ordered some bottles. Surprisingly, the answer was, that they do not have these brands (allthough they are in the menu list), but we were offered a local sparkling wine. Which is certainly not a champagne, but the waiter was not able to recognise the difference between champagne and sparkling wine!!! Well, we have agreed with the waiter, that he will order the champagne, so it will arrive to the New Years's Eve celebration...the staff of the restaurant promised us to deliver it. 3.) We have bought tickets for the New Year's Eve celebration, which contained of dinner, wine, sparkling wine and special NYE program. Unfortunately the organization of the event was very very poor. The staff was chaotically running back and forth, we had to order several times by several waiters the same orders to be able to receive them...not speaking about the plates - they were brand new still with bar-code stickers, so we new, that they didn't wash them...! 4.) The food was though really good. It was a nice shock for us. 5.) The program - they had no DJ and they played from a CD player best of SADE. Nothing against Sade, we like her a lot, but play Sade on NYE where you want to celebrate, sing and dance... terrible choice.

Review 90：Tatragolf is new 4 star, modern and from outside really nice appartment resort. We (group of 10 friends) booked rooms online for a very reasonable price (225 Eur/5 nights/person). The staff at reception was very kind everything went smoothly, rooms were nice, clean, modern and spacious. What we did not know and were not informed at reception was, that there is no room service (they do not exchange daily the towels, do not clean the rooms, do not give you the toilet paper, etc.). Anything you want you need to go to the reception and ask for it. Ok, still, it was all very nice and the staff of the resort was kind and helpful. That's about the positive moments.
