Review 1：Our room was not cleaned until we expressly requested the staff to clean it, toilet paper was not replaced, the reception desk required full payment at our arrival. Although check-in is scheduled for 16:00 PM we have been called at 15:00 PM on the arrival date and asked whether we shall arrive or not. Wi-fi is very poor.

Review 2：The hotel has a private beach, there is no need to pay for a chaisse-longue on the beach, staff on the beach is very friendly, the beach is clean. Breakfast is diverse even at the closing time (10 AM). The location of the hotel on the beach with a private pool is a plus, away from thw noise of the clubs.

Review 3：The hotel was right on the beech,everything you need ,but if theydon't have it ,they will do everything on they-er power to get itfor you ,they always take care of my car parking it and bring it to mewhen they just get of glimpse of me ,which in Constanta is a big problemthe parking,by the way ,the personnel,"ALL of them "from thegirls at the register ,to the girl who does the cleaning ,extremelypolite and nice ,from the top of my head can,t think of anything thatcould be improve ,congratulations,you really did an excellent job, GodBless You All !

Review 10：Easy access from Constanta (you dont need to cross all Mamaia) so there is no crowd. Also when you leave you can access the highway easily. Breakfast is very good and the rooms are very big

Review 11：The hotel is located on the roadside, therefore the rooms facing the road are quite noisy. The quality of sleep is very poor: thin walls, furniture shaking when someone closes a door on the same floor, the bed has a sponge layer added on top of the mattress (very 'classy' and extremely uncomfortable). The breakfast is also quite poor for a 4 star hotel, where one would expect a large variety of fresh fruit, jams, natural juice. On top of everything, the kitchy fake palm trees that are placed in front really spoil the elegance of the hotel.

Review 12：The hotel looks very nice and elegant, the rooms are decently large and well supplied. The hotel has a private pool and the beach is also very nice, being located at the extremity (this is the first hotel on the Mamaia beach).

Review 13：Staff varies from rude (came in late at night and went to the lobby/bar area to buy a bottle of water, where there were 3 ladys behind the bar stting down and having a conversation. After first ignoring me one yeld at me, with a cigarette in her mouth, "closed" . I then asked if it was possible to buy a bottle of water, but without even turning in my direction she just yeld one more time), to poor (at checkout I waited 20 min at the lobby for someone to agnolage my excistence. There was one staff member helping a family of four and in the back room, there were 3 more staff members doing.....well I don't know what they where doing but they were not helping the customers at the lobby) to average (at checkin the male staff member was able to produce a mini smile, the only one that I've seen in the 4 days that I've spend in this hotel)

Furniture in the room scratched and drawers stuck in the desk. Air condition VERY noisy, kept us awake ! Situated as the first of the Mamaia hotels in by far the most uninteresting part of Mamaia.

Review 19：Beach had very little sand more like the real Malibu not like the rest of Mamaia beaches Air conditioning positioned right above the bed and blows right on the top of your head The bathroom pluming had a foul smell when you entered the room. I had to call Room Service to put the equivalent of Draino to get rid of the smell The TV wasn't working on the main channels,including TVR1 where the World Cup games were. I called the reception and they came in quickly and re scanned. The balcony was not private enough, just divided by a plastic fairly transparent partition. One could not easily leave valuables at the hotel reception, had to negotiate to do it. The maid always forgot to leave something, shampoo, shower gel, etc. They didn't change the sheets for several days.

Review 20：Location close to Constantza Had balcony with sea view although too tall so that you couldn't see the sea when you were sitting down.

Review 21：I didn't like that the hotel is rated a 4 star but it's more a 3+ stars. The rooms are kind of pricy. There was an odd smell coming from the bathroom, all the time. Just because the hotel respects the minimal rules for a 4 star it doesn't really looks and feel like one.

Review 55：I have booked the hotel for a certain price. At the hotel, I have asked for a room with sea-view and I was told that I have to pay another 9 Euros per night for this. How come I did not see this information at the time of booking? I was thus misinformed by either the booking.com site or rather by the hotel (I suspect) staff. Please check this information with the hotel and send me a refund for 18 Euros, if I am right. Send me an explanation regardless, otherwise I won't have the trust to use your business next time. Indeed more of a 3-star hotel...I won't go there anymore.

Review 60：Some of the front-desk clerks are distant and appear busy, but theywere helpful when asked. The beach is not very clean, the seafloor isvery high and the water was dirty. Sadly the kids can't really playin the water, it is crowded and sometimes dead fish and algae emerge onthe beach. The music at the bar on the beach shouldn't be thatloud. The lunch at the hotel restaurant was the worst thing. It issupposed to be a la carte, but it took an hour to bring a soup and asalad. The waiter did not say it woult take that long, but announcedhalf an hour after we ordered that the chicken for the soup is beingbroiled. When the soup arrived, the meat was still raw, the kids werehungry and it was overall unpleasant. Prices for food are a bit steep,considering all the trouble.

Review 61：The location is perfect, the staff is ok. It was worth the money,considering it is in Mamaia, its 4star rating and the facilities. Thepool is clean and the beach bar is allright. The room with a view waswort it, especially since the rooms on the other side are overlookingthe motorway and they are probably noisy. The breakfast is satisfying inall respects. WiFi all over the hotel and worked fine. Access to thepool was also free. Will return, definitely!

Review 62：In the bathroom was always smelling very bad, the water was yellowsometimes. I would not recommend Malibu as a 4 stars hotel, but a 3stars one. The ratio quality price was not fair in this case.

Review 63：We booked double bed room, but when arrived there was no available room with one big bed, we were forced to pay more to get apartment with one big bed. Breakfast could be better for 4* hotel.

Review 65：The staff was not very friendly, starting with the receptionist, thatwas trying to show us how busy she is. She had us wait for 20 minuteswhile answering phones and interrupting us with (just a few minutes;I'll be right back). Finally we checked in and found out that theadvertised parking is in the middle of the street and she assured us"it is impossible to get a space". The hotel was in poor shapeand dirty, even the drapes had dark marks on them, the carpet wasstained. We asked for a room with a working safe because we read thereviews that say a few guests had issues with them. Of course the safedid not work and promptly, the staff gave us a key to override thekeypad. The beach was a big hole in front of the hotel where they werebuilding a deck. Going around the construction, we got to water, notvery clean, with plastic bags and cigarette buts floating in. Sewersmall was in the air and a couple told us is coming from the drainagethat was a few yards away. The lake "Tabacariei" was drainingalso in the sea very close to this beach. The sea was beautiful and withclear water but we weren't tempted to dive in after this experience.Because the first night was paid anyhow and not knowing Mamaia well, weput our luggage in the room and went looking for another hotel, at leastdecent if not way better. The hotel restaurant looked very cheap and didnot even have napkins, after asking they told us to use the boxes withfacial tissues placed on every table. Nothing looked clean and inviting.The waiters were sour and defiant. We did not need a lot of time to finda better place, less than half the price and many, many times better inall the ways possible. We ended up staying for the whole time at"La Scoica" in Navodari. Do not pay this outrageous price tostay here, there are many better alternatives!
