Review 1：Spacious room, balcony with a nice view of the sea, bay and harbour area, excellent dinner and breakfast in the hotel restaurant, nice spot on a peninsula between the town center and sea front with walking distance to everything the town has to offer.

Review 2：The doors of the rooms smashed too loud. Unpersonally athmosphere. Seems like a city hotel and congress centre, not so suitable for making holiday a week.

Review 4：Small rooms. Exorbitant price. Drive 30 minutes into Halden, Norway, and stay at the fabulous Fredriksten Hotell at the fortress. You can still visit the Koster Islands. Laholmen has a lock on Stromstad, so the prices are ridiculous. Stay in another town and do a day trip to Stromstad.

Review 5：Parking areae was really tight . Even if you pay for parking at the hotel , you still do not get a parking space for the night. (You just hope to get one at the arrival)

Review 6：We did not feel that staff were very helpful - we had already stayed in 5 hotels during our week in Sweden and received a significantly better welcome in all of them than in the lalholmen.

Review 8：Centrally located i Strømstad on a peninsula with the added bonus of great views. Personell was very welcoming and we had fun at the pianobar and nightclub.

Review 9：The gym in the hotel is sadly lacking in equipment and only accessible with a key from reception. There are two machines and a few yoga mats.

Review 10：The location was perfect. I arrived on the boat from Norway and left on the train to Stockholm and it was all very easy. The room was large, airy and comfortable and the breakfast great. I had a wonderful dinner with a great view, great service and even an Amuse-bouche which was delicious. I asked for the recipe. (I hope I receive it). Close by was a gym with a pool. Next time I come here I will be prepared to swim. Views from the hotel were lovely.

Review 43：Elevator didn't work. The signage outside is so bad that I really had a hard time finding the entrance of the hotel! I got no information about the wi-fi when I checked in. There is no info brochure in the room, so I couldn't figure out how to call reception. Nowhere was there a number given to call reception.

Review 45：Actually the hotel is under renovation now and they offered to me a room in conference building next to it. Due to ongoing works it is very noisy and dusty. Altogether I do not recommend to stay there till they finish in May, I suppose.
