Review 1：A great value in the Savanah area. Easy to get to the historical center. My friends and I were able to stay next door to each other and the value Best Western offered was excellent.
Review 2：1. Dried bug squashed under BW notepad 2.Taped over security hole in door and tape covering holes around front door 3. Huge cockroaches in tub and smaller bugs in bathroom and sink area every night. 4. Dirt/crumbs behind furniture and along walls 5.Guest directory outdated, no info on trolley service as described in website.

Review 8：The room smelled of cigarette smoke. It wasn't overbearing so I did not request another room. We had a similar experience the last time I visited with my wife; but, we were given another room that time. The bathroom shower rod (RM 222) was loose on both ends and sagged in the middle. Those bowed shower rods are pretty nice when there is proper support on either end. The bathroom door did not open and close easily (maybe too much paint around the edges). Without shoes, the floor felt lumpy. Curiously, the lobby seat cushions were upside down!?

Review 10：The location was far from the river walk and historic district and I would not feel safe walking outside of this hotel at night by myself. My room had a running toilet and broken refrigerator for the first 3 days of my 4 day trip...while these items were replaced new or fixed, it took too long and several days of communication with the front desk. On the first morning at this motel the breakfast selection looked good until I started eating; the food was cold and kept at an unsafe temperature. Everyday after this we ate next door at the Waffle House. Other than the good mattress and bedding, the other furniture was abused and stained; the bathroom toilet and shower were clean but looked very old and need replaced.

Review 27：The hotel is right next to an army air base, so I was woken up by bugle calls and a cannon shot at 6.30 am! It's also quite far out from the old town of Savannah. $15 Uber each way.

We've learned the best deal is not always about money. It's the treatment, location,what's offered and cleanliness also.

Review 50：The helicopter and jet takeoffs until after 9:30 pm constantly from the military base nearby. We did not appreciate. Also, room 112 should only be given to a guest when you are almost filled up with guests. We arrived about 2:00 pm and I talked to the male manager and he stated they were slow. I asked for a king size bed on the ground floor. The front desk person gave us a room in a dark outside hallway near the laundry, ice machines. We will not stay here again.

Review 52：One of the beds was a little lumpy. Stayed on Sun night woke up to loud trash pick up on early Mon morning around 7am. Could not sleep. Stayed on ground floor and could hear lots of noise from people moving about.

The room seemed small in general for four people (2 adults/2 children), the breakfast was sufficient for most needs (cereal, waffles, bagels with even eggs, sausage links and gravy) but they didn't have peanut butter, bananas or hard boiled eggs which was what I prefer for breakfast.

I am watching my bill closely for over paid amounts.. I travel a lot and will not go back to another Best Western ever again. they didnt offer breakfast for long period of time, and didnt have much room

Review 96：I booked through Booking.com which didn't require a credit card. When I arrived at hotel the front desk clerk had a nasty attitude and told me that my card (a card I never gave to anyone) was declined and they gave my room away. Luckily there was a cancelation and I got a room anyway. The thing that upset me was she basically called me a lyer when I told her that I never had a card on file. The card she claimed that was denied was not a card I have.
Review 97：Room looked worn out. Tub was stained. Being a traveler some times we like to sleep in, but in this case there was a note that if you did not bring in the do not disturb sign by 10:15 your room would not be cleaned.

Then I was awakened a second time to a lady attempting several times to enter my room.... Still no one called. Ten minutes later I call down to find out what is going on and front desk tells me you are not checked in yo this room. No apologies just a bunch of excuses.

Review 107：This was a simple little get away trip to take photos and relax. Time I walked into the hotel the front desk clerk name Val was very rude. I said hello and asked her could she recommend an inexpensive seafood restaurant. She looked at me like I was crazy. The new trainee name Kulena suggested some places. I showed Val a copy of my reservations and asked her will this be the amount charge on my card. She applied yes, but when I checked out they held 2 nights stay on my card. I was upset because when they put a hold on your card it does not drop off immediately. I asked to speak to the manager name TJ. He was rude as well. I told TJ, I ask her how much was going to be held on my card. He kept saying I was talking to loud. There was another desk clerk pointing to a sign on the left that they charged for 2 nights if you use a debit card. I am a Best Western plus member and always used my debit card and have never had an extra night hold on my card. I was upset because I asked her several times. I did not have enough money for breakfast, because it took a couple of days for the additional hold to drop off. TJ told me it is my bank that is causing the problem. You should never use your debit card. I travel a lot and have stayed at many Best Western using my debit card and have never experienced this type of services.

I didn't seeanything in this room but the wifey said she had to kill one in thebathroom. Overall.... This is an outside motel, keep looking for abetter motel/hotel if you can. If your just looking to save moneyand don't mind a few pest then this is a value for the price butnobody can honestly sleep comfortable with crawlers in your room.
