Review 1：Was a bit dated, needed some home style fixing up, small things like tap handles loose, tile replaced but not groutedBasic

Review 7：The room was great with a small dining area in an alcove with views across the lake. Their breakfast was also very nice with their own breakfast room with a choice of continental. Could be a winner if they had a waffle maker an hard boiled eggs on offer like the USA motels. As we travel extensively in the USA Australian motels are way behind the times, except for this one.
Review 8：Stay very friendly. Free continental breakfast. Paid for dinner was good value. It was quiet. Delightful view from the room of the river and as a history buff I enjoyed the surprise view of the old railway and dairy factory.
Review 9：beds rock hard - smelt of mildew. My wife lost her engagement ring (she had for 40 years) and they said they would check for if it but never heard anything from them. Very unsatisfied.

Had to ask for a receipt which I find quite unusual, as when paying with a credit card you need to be assured of the transaction and feel this should be readily given.

Review 51：We stayed for 2 days and both mornings were woken up at 5:30am by extremely noisy people outside yelling to each other on our front door. Their noisy gathering lasted until 7:00am, that's when breakfast time starts and everyone went inside. We suggested to the couple/owners on our departure that they perhaps could put a sign up saying no noise before breakfast. To our surprise they did not even want to hear about our complaint, said they were busy and did not hear a thing. Now the interesting thing is that noisy group was in the over 50s age bracket, I don't think a group of teenagers would have gotten away with the same behavior.

Review 53：Breakfast is displayed till 8:30am, an elderly gentleman walked into a closed door at 8:21 and was told by the owner, don't come down here expecting to eat at 8:21, which I thought was rude! Tell people doors close at 8:15 if this is the case! An on departure handing the keys back lady owner could have asked if we enjoyed our stay or given a smile, instead of just thanks! Being friendly goes along way!!!
Review 54：2 nights couldn't fault the room! With 2 little boys, cereal and toast for breakfast was included made an easy stay, room and bathroom was spacious, very clean, comfortable, great water pressure in the shower. Pretty view of the river from the window.
Review 55：I think they could upgrade their toilets, the seats/lids are as thin as a boarding house slice of bread; and larger TVs not so high up on the wall would be good. A microwave ($49 at Big W) would be good too. These are not really critiques, just suggestions for improvement.

Review 62：The welcome was five star! I had booked two rooms and the proprietor was happy to give a ground floor room to my less than mobile friend. For the low cost of accommodation I did not expect free WiFi plus a breakfast in the motel's restaurant. We will be staying again for our over-nighter on the way south!
