Review 71:nothing to dislike

Review 72:Beautiful lodge in sensational location. We were sorry we could only stay one night. Friendly helpful staff and manager. The bedroom, the linen (I have a thing about linen) were fresh and clean... and the grounds were just wonderful. Food was delicious, quality, variety excellent. My god, the views!! and very close to the amazing Blyde River Canyon.

Review 73:Room lighting was poor. Power to the kitchen cooktop/oven and hood was turned off somewhere and available for use. TV's reception very poor and consists of mostly sports channels, no CNN, no Skynews. WiFi none existent at the garden cottage.

Review 74:Staff were very helpful, polite and friendly. The food and service were excellent. A beautiful location and setting.

Review 75:The owner had a business meeting on the porch for a few hours and was very load speaking, the quiet was gone and we could follow the discussion about the staff. The rooms need an upgrade, the furniture was out of date.

Review 76:The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food was prepared with care. Good breakfast with fresh fruit. Beautiful location and a good spot to combine Blyde River Canyon and Krugerpark.

Review 77:We did not even stay over but paid the full ammount we were not informed that we will be staying above reception with just a plank floor. There are no fridge in room to keep mysoft drinks and wine cool. Up to now the management did not even try to contact me to find out what the complaints were. The web pafe does not reflect this facility and can not believe this is a real 4 star facilility. Poor management and facility

Review 78:Nothing at all

Review 79:On reflection the pool needed more attention. although it didn't put Jane off swimming !

Review 80:We stayed 5 nights. The setting was beautiful with views of the mountains close to Blyde River. Zebras on the lawn at breakfast and Bushbabies at night time ! Food was varied and excellent and a joy to sit on the veranda eating dinner at night time. The owner and staff were very friendly and helpful.

Review 81:Fantastic place! We stayed 4 nights here & loved every minute of it. The staff are really friendly & helpful, the breakfast is delicious & dinner was fantastic every evening. A lovely relaxed atmosphere & great location. Excellent value for money, a very special place, thank you

Review 82:My one complaint is that the floors were very squeaky and I was conscious of everyone below us hearing us walking around in our room. Also there wasn't a shower in our bathroom, only a big bathtub. When we filled up the bathtub the water was brown. My partner said this may be normal for a lodge out in the wilderness and the water is probably safe to bathe in but when I pointed it out to one of the staff members she seemed surprised like it wasn't normal but she didn't really do anything about it. Other than that no complaints.

Review 83:This lodge was settled on a beautiful property full of wildlife. My partner and I went for a nice morning walk to check it out and we saw zebras, baboons, wildebeest and impala. There is a nice little balcony overlooking the mountains as well. We were literally 10 minutes drive from the Blyde River dam where we took an amazing boat ride through the canyon. The staff at the lodge were friendly and they booked the boat ride for us. We stayed in the room in the lodge right about the main office. It was well decorated and comfortable. The food was fantastic and we had dinner at the lodge both nights we stayed! Breakfast was also really good and served out on the deck with an amazing view of the mountains. Overall it was a great experience and I would definitely recommend it to young couples who are looking for a relaxing atmosphere close to nature.

Review 84:The food was excellant, staff friendly, animals enjoyable and it is a great location for the Panorama Route tour. The staff was flexible about meal times and very helpful about obtaining a package I needed to receive as soon as possible.

Review 85:Our room was seedy and badly in need of refurbishment. Towels were old, worn and hard from constant laundering. The extractor fan in a bathroomthat had no windows did not work for the 3 nights we were there and noeffort made to fix it or any explanation given - in fact the matter wasignored! Not good for a 4 star establishment!!
