Review 1：Sauna is little bit pricy for the value it offers – no swimming pool and not-so-cold cooling pool.

Review 2：Great value for money (55m2 apartment) Spacious rooms, good location, private parking. Fresh air is included!

Review 3：Breakfast was in a other hotel. Location is not the best, need car to go to old town. No views.

Review 5：There are no cleaning services in the room (if you want to clean bed, bathroom etc. you have to request recepcion and pay 9,60EUR for every day for this service, same situation with towels - if you want to change towels you have to pay additional 1EUR for each towel (not included in cleaning which cost 9,60EUR). I have never ever saw this in three star hotel., Parking places are VERY small (when VAN-car parked next to me I wasn´t able park my BMW), Staff is unhelpful and unfriendly, No restaurant in the hotel, Wifi is very slow (speed approx. 20kBit/s) - it is useless.

Review 7：Wi-Fi. It has good signal strength. It "works". It connects. But internet seems to be failing - at least form our 3 mobile devices usually only 1 was functional at the same time. But I'm not sure it's hotels problem, as in all places around (cafes, restaurants) internet is struggling to work.

Review 9：No laundry service. The did do the laundry for us at the end but only after asking them a few times. The 2 sofa-beds for the teenagers were very uncomfortable. 1 fits a 5 year old and my 14 year old daughter had to squeeze in.

The studio has a large south-facing terrace. The parking places are covered. Starý Smokovec is a great place to start the mountain trips from. The train station is only 5 minutes from the building.

Review 26：Clean, spacious, nice atmosphere, friendly receptionists. I just love the sound of the stream running under the windows...pretty relaxing. Quite close to Stary Smokovec, but peacefull and quiet. Even the colors of the paint and the furniture suits eachother well. I am a regular visitor of the High Tatras, been trying probably more then 20 places to stay so far, but this is my clear favourite. Its a lovely place to get back after a long and exhausting day of climbing.

Review 28：We are regular hikers from Hungary and in the last few years we stayed at different places during our staying.But since we found Familia Smokovec we deliberately go to this hotel every time as it is the perfect accommodation to hikers but I assume for anybody.Perfect location ( 8-10 min walk to Stary Smokovec; 5 min walk to the Sibir TEZ station), so you can reach easily any of the hiking routes.The rooms have a very friendly "home like" atmosphere, well furnished with very good style and very clean as well.You can have a large spaces within the room and the kitchen is fully equipped.Best place in the High Tatras.

Review 30：We stayed here for 4 nights together with another 2 couples and we really enjoyed it. The apartment is big and clean. One of the couples we stayed there with had apart. no. 114 which was huggeee! The personnel is very friendly, especially the two younger receptionists. You can find great Panini and hot chocolate at the bar! Vysoke Tatri is great! Great price/quality ratio! Slovakia is a great alternative to Austria:)

Review 34：The location is perfect, not only minutes from train station bud also city centre is walking distance. Great for dogowners room are very spacious and there is woods just behind the komplex so you can go there with your dog. Staff is superfriendly rooms are nice.

We didn't notice that weather changed completely during the night until we look out of the window and we noticed snow (in the evening there was none) and qite a hard wind.

Review 40：Naked men in the wellness - I mean, I know it´s not unusual in slovakia/hungary in thermal areas, but this is a very good (and kids-friendly) hotel with wellness area. It is not a thermal area with rooms. So I´d like rules for using the wellness. Those people then switched off the light for more "privacy", but then my baby started being afraid of that darkness. This is just a note, I guess these things may happen - the hotel is a great one anyway :)

Review 101：The apartment is in Novy Smokovec with is about a 15-20 minute walk to Stary Smokovec which has the only grocery stores. The staff threw out my shoes and after I mentioned the issue, they returned them with garbage stains. They claimed that I left them close to the garbage can..

Wi-fi only at the lobby but it's free and working smoothly... Definitely recommended...

We had to close the window with the curtains all the time. There were pieces of dust and hair on the floor in bathroom and the toilet.

Review 119：We were in the apartment number 102. It is very large, so it can fit not only a couple but a family with children. However there were only two plates and two mugs, two spoons, two etc. in the kitchen. We had a separate parking place - very comfortable.

Our family have got the best impression of that hotel and place. We liked it's free parking for a car, good apartment, good spa with different saunas and jakuzzi, free wi-fi and friendly staff. Review 121：A sötétítők nagyon vékonyak voltak, így az éjszakai köztéri világítás zavaró volt). Jó lenne még kenyérpirító és hajszárító az apartmanokban. Hogy nem lehetett sportcsatornákat fogni (eleve kevés és csak szlovák nyelvű csatorna volt a modern, nagy átmérőjű TV-én). A welness részleg használatára jó lenne, ha a szállóvendégek számára lenne egy 1 órás, kedvezőbb árú lehetőség (nem mindenki szeretne két órát szaunázni).

Review 125：We have to put just one unlike. When we arrived by the train from the trainstop we couldnt find so easily the hotel. But we asked some people and the helped us. And one other small minus was internet connection. In the reception they gave as a cable to connect to the internet in our room becasue wifi was only in the bar or reception but this cable didnt work as properly as we expected. But doesnt matter, we came to enjoy our holidays there, not to spend our time on the internet :-)

Review 127：The only negative was how to get there for the first time...Novy Smokovec is all served by one way streets (actually, only one) - you can see Familia's green lights from the main road just leaving Stary Smokovec, however, the one way entrance to Novy Smokovec is rather far - you would not expect that is the way to get to Familia :-) So be sure to check the way how to get there beforehand. Otherwise our stay was great!

Review 128：We had fully equipped apartment - kitchen, part for living room, bathroom - all nice quality and new. Great personnel, nice spa (10 euro/2 hours/person), parking for free (we had in the garage, but usually is outside - covered). 10-15 mins walk to the center of Stary Smokovec, nice Restaurant close, also a small shop.
