Review 1：The restaurant/brasserie is obviously very busy and popular so the noises from the kitchen often woke me up early and didn't stop until quite late.

Review 5：The service from the entire staff was flawless. The location is not to be beat and breakfast on the terrace overlooking the river was a highlight. The Brasserie has wonderful, gourmet bitterballen and the restaurant features subtle, skillful preparations of Dutch products using French and Dutch/Flemish techniques such as the chef's version of Asperges op Vlaamse Wijze done with a Valuas twist. Our room was a spacious suite with air conditioning (we needed it as it was a heat wave with temperatures approaching 100 degrees fahrenheit.) The single rooms don't have airco but fans were provided. The hotel is an easy walk to Venlo which is a gezellige smallish city that is reawakening itself and has a number of fine restaurants including La Mangerie.
Review 6：Fantastic hotel. The staff were really friendly, approachable, helpful and professional. I arrived late and, despite the kitchen having just closed, they were still prepared to put together a quick meal for me. Very comfortable place, nice location on the river and just a few minutes from the motorway. Cannot fault it.

Review 8：Food, room and bed, location. I arrived late in evening after a long travel day. Staff was very understanding and had restaurant stay open to serve me a wonderful meal. Cannot say enough good things about staff and hotel. The best.
Review 9：(Single) rooms are tiny, the bathroom looked quite old. Corridors are noisy and it is impossible to sleep after 7.00 am. There is a huge contrast between the restaurant, which looks very classy, and the hotel rooms, very "poor"...

Review 28：The staff were superb! There are lots of them, and they are friendly, helpful and efficient. The restaurant is also super; very deserving of its Michelin star. The location on the river is beautiful. It's just outside town, in a peaceful setting right on the river, but still just an easy walk from the center of Venlo.
Review 29：The beds were extremely comfortable ,a pleasant terrace overlooking the river and an excellent meal in the Brasserie, the staff were all charming and polite.
Review 30：Unfortunatetly the radiator was very loud, wich made it hard to get a sleep. Also the room on the street - side was quite cold, the bath was clean and looked new - but the colors are very conservative. This will not bother you if you like brown .....
