Review 1：The cleaning was too bad! No vacum for weeks maybe, dust everywhere!i gave money to the maid and still she didn t clean properly!

Review 3：The spa is very good, but it was very busy even though the hotel was half empty. The breakfast repeats itself. There is not sound insulation between rooms, if you get noisy neighbors it is problematic.

Review 6：Even though variety was good in the breakfast buffet, the "hot" items were never hot. Also, the jacuzzi was not hot and young children (toddlers) were allowed in - evidencing the fact that it was not hot and not hygienic.

Review 7：Apartment was very comfortable - well equipped kitchen, nice living room layout, beds super comfortable. Very clean. Good views and just a short walk to main part of town. Breakfast buffet had a nice variety of food. We would definitely stay here again.

Review 8：The food was unacceptable. The salmon fillet was raw, and the food at the buffet was pretty bad. They didn't change bed sheets every day. The shuttle to the gondola stopped driving people to the hotel early in the evening so one needed a taxi to come back to the hotel at night. The wifi in our room sucked big time.

On our first day at the hotel we had the pool and the sauna by ourselves; everyone were busy skiing in the morning so it was as if we had our own private pool and Turkish bath. Our room was spacious and warm. The view was fantastic. It's a luxurious hotel. We loved the building and the facilities.

Review 13：The apartment was clean and spacious, with all necessary appliances. The indoor pool is the biggest one I have been in Bansko. The water temperature in the pool was declared to be 29°C, but it didn't feel like it. The breakfast was great and diverse enough. Hotel staff was kind and helpful. Although the location of the hotel is on the foot of the Rila mountain, there's a great view of the town and the surrounding mountains.

Review 14：The restaurant is very small not possible to fit all the people specially on breakfast time....they must change something at list ned one more restaurant like this size. The spa aria also not good size specially the djakuzzi

Review 16：it was almost impossible to reach the hotel, due to road constructions in Bansko, in addition to that i would rate the SPA as poor, there are too much chlorine at the water in the indoor pool and Jacuzzi, there was only one steam room and sauna. the sauna is great really big one and there is mirror walls which i certainly liked a lot, however there was something wrong with the steam room, it did hurt when you inhale, not sure was it too hot or too humidity... the restaurant did not manage to serve the whole capacity of the hotel. the food we order for dinner was with poor quality in comparison with the prize. The fitness was really small, and almost non-functional the treadmill did not work. "The wheel" of the cycle was. broken. There was no one you could report the same to.

Review 18：Huge apartment. Great swimming pool with sauna and steam bath. With 'genius' got 2 extra hours check out so could swim on last morning and go for a last walk on the mountain. Wonderful buffet breakfast too.

Review 19：One of the bedrooms was over the front entrance, which was lit externally all night. The blinds were inadequate to keep out the bright lights. Food (as traditionally Bulgarian) wasn't always warm enough.

Review 20：A relatively new hotel with pool, gym, sauna and steam room. The two bed apartment we had was adequately sized and could have taken two more on the sofa bed. Cost was very reasonable and staff helpful, albeit the night staff's command of english wasn't huge. A very pleasant stay.

One chair in the living room was so broken you could not sit on. Living room coffee table was missing. Bedrooms so small that the wardrobe could not be opened properly. Shower poorly installed - water leaked everywhere. Stains and hair on sheets, towels, covers and bathrobes. Not properly cleaned apartment.

Review 33：The room facilities are literally falling apart. We changed our room but understood it didn't really matter. The absence of shutters and air conditioner or a simple fan made the rooms stuffy and hot. The plumbing problems. The rooms are big but there is no space to move in the bedroom. The cupboard had only one shelf which was so high that you can hardly reach it. The same breakfast every single day.

Review 38：Bad location, no lighting on streets, at night can't see where the road is which has huge holes and you have to slalom drive! Reception is useless, upon making reservation I requested a room on higher floor away from noise. We were given a room right above the entrance overlooking the parking lot! Noise all day long, and most of the night. When I requested a room change we were offered a ground floor room facing a fence and old equipment. Housekeeping is erratic, one day they forgot to leave towels, the next day toilet paper, cleaning the room was a hit and miss.

Review 50：It was our third time at St. George Palace. Although first two times were during season time, we much more preferred our stay last week. Even though out of season, all facilities were top notch and working. Even the restaurant offered a late night service. The hotel has a preferred position to other Bansko hotels, just a 4 min walk to the ski lift. Great spa service and great value for money. Will visit again this summer.

Review 51：I would only say that there was too much chlorine in the pool and jacuzzi, which made the eyes sting and the smell was everywhere in the hotel.

In order to reach reception, room service or whatever you must use your own phone. 2) Room has a kitchen and basic utensils but no kithcen towel and nothing to clean the utensils. So if you make a coffee then you have nothing to clean th cup and make another. and you will have to use your shower towel if you do decide to buy and use a 50 cents fairy liquid and a 20 cents sponge 3) having only 4 hangers in the wardrobe means most of your clothes will be hanging on the chairs or in the luggage. 4) Using the hot and cold water tabs means you will use too much (and i mean tooooooooo much) water just trying to fix the temperature you want 5) wifi in the room is very unstable 6) not even one painting or something decorating the room. 7) Just bulgarian channels in the tv set 8) Not even a single brochure for the bansko area and for what you can do and where you can go.

Review 69：The hotel (or apartment complex) is definitely not 4* property, very surprised of the high rating in booking.com. It’s in desperate need of renovation as in the common areas you could see signs of flood that damaged the walls and ceiling. The lobby, bar and restaurant are really poor as well, looking more like 2* facilities. The staff was not recognizable as there was no name tag/ uniform, nothing you could tell that the person is from the staff, quite unprofessional I would say. It was really cold in the common areas- e.g from entering the hotel to reach the designated wing where your room is you pass by long empty corridor, freezingly cold. The so called pool and spa consists of a decent swimming pool with only 12 sunbeds for more than 100 rooms/apartments available in the hotel. There’s also a sauna (only 60 degrees as temperature) and steam bath, both relatively small for the numbers of guest that gather in the afternoon hours, so it get extremely crowded. There was also a confusion with the massages we booked, so these are to be avoided as well as to avoid disappointment. The breakfast is poor, so it’s not really worth get it additionally. The apartment we got was spacious but very ascetic on furniture, cold when we got but it got better as we increased the heating. It was dirty- not properly cleaned, part of the furniture was broken, windows were extremely dirty.The TV was not working. Wi-fi in the room was not working (couldn’t connect to the network) and in the common areas it was extremely slow, could load a single web page.

Review 70：very stupid rule for not taking food out of the breakfast. You cant take out banana, orange or smt else because you will be charged 20 eur! Also most of the things on breakfast are 3-4 days old (bread, fruits-cutted on middle to prevent taking them out, cookies) Big dislike for the rooms is that they have room service but there is no phone in the rooms. You must call international number on roaming from mobile to order smt. In 7 days they never changed the bed sheats. If you ask for extra towel you dont get it cause they count it! Never again in this hotel!

Review 73：While booking, I was promised 50 m2 room with 2 2 beds and sofa. However, we were given the room around 20-25 meter with only one double bed. The Wi-Fi is just terrible in the hotel. There were no knifes and spoons and a lot of other silverware and dishes in the kitchen. Pillows were just awfully cheap and impossible to sleep on. The last shuttle to the ski resort is at 10!! Why??? Some people want to sleep a bit more. In comparison with e.g. Terra Resort for the same money this hotel is terrible.

Special thanks to Teo in the ski hire shop - great service! Bar staff made sure I wasn't left thirsty at any time! Don't know how the reception always seem to have a smile 24 hours a day! Shuttle bus to the gondola looked very convenient, but found it was only a 5 min walk down to the ski road which personally I found more convenient.
