Located in the ancient town center of Slovenia’s oldest town, Ptuj, the Park Hotel Ptuj offers individually furnished rooms in a rich historic setting.
The hotel lies on the western part of the famous Prešernova Street which was once the main street. The impressive Castle of Ptuj rises above it and below the former Dominican monastery and the Little Castle are located, surrounded by the Sunny Park.
The self-service buffet breakfast is a real treat, serving many local specialties. It is served in the dining room from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. Lunch and dinner can be organized in nearby restaurants, upon request.
Park Hotel Ptuj also has a cafe, which is open from Monday to Thursday and Sunday from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. and on Fridays and Saturdays from 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 a.m.

Review 1：air con did not work told to open window.wifi didnt work.tv channels limited and not as listed in bookie. many missing.attention to detail like ensure remote control eorks, bathroom door handle fell off .poor fast uncomfortable bed . Staff although friendly/helpful felt like they were on work experience. Guess owner is trying to save on costs. Far better value for money options elsewhere .

Review 3：The staff seemed to be too much relaxed for a four star hotel. I told them that the safe did not not work and they answer was "ok I will take a look at it". But if they did, it definitely was not during our stay.

Review 5：Note: if it'll be one star - score would be fair. Although it's ****hotel so expectations are high. I have never seen such bad 3 or 4* hotel. Due my profession I spent few years in hotels totally, so I have comparisons. 1. room size is a lie: I've reserved two rooms, described as 44m2 each. I got ~15m2 and ~25m2 (actually biggest in hotel). 2. Cleanliness: There was 1mm of dust in wardrobe! 3. Breakfast - worst part - buffet was on small table: bread, cheese, 3 kinds of ham from plastic bag, canned tuna, honey, jam, butter (all in plastics). Forget eggs or anything warm! Chef - young guy in jeans and hoodie (ha ha ha!) serves another hams from plastics if missed on buffet. Are we in ****hotel?! Give me a break! 4. Furniture was not antiques but used old one (not all). 5. localisation: not in quiet oldtown but aside, by the street. I couldn't leave windows opened because cars running loud from 5am. 6. They will charge you 100% for canceled reservation, so when you see this "hotel" - no option to run away. You can find much better hotels in the city for lower prices. I will never come back.

Review 9：Although not a disaster a few things were not working - air conditioning, fan in bathroom, wi-fi, TV remote (probably the batteries). Restaurant next door unexpectedly closed - OK it was a Sunday in late October.
