Review 3：Beautiful and cozy hotel with very attentive and amiable hosts! It is located perfectly - close to Spa city center and thermes (5 min by car) but at very peaceful and secluded area at the same time. Delicious breakfast and comfortable stylish room - we really enjoyed our stay!

Review 6：The owners are Dutch, so you get a more or less typical Dutch breakfast, which might be a bit too light for some, although this is not really a minus point. What could be improved on - there was a very strong old dust smell in the room for storing clothes (too big to be called a cupboard), so we were forced not to use it.

Review 7：A unique place with an aristocratic feel to it. You could have a felling that a count or a prince might drop in at any moment [which could actually be true -- people like the members of the House of Bourbon-Parma, or Marion Cotillard stayed there]. Very good value for money. The bed was quite comfortable; the bathroom and the toilet are renovated and clean. The owners are very nice and helpful. Could be a perfect place to stay if you want a romantic weekend out or even for a honeymoon. In addition, the Thermes are only a 5-7 minute drive from the hotel.

Review 26：The bathroom door was creaky and difficult to shut, the toilet was very noisy (electrical disposal) and whenever the guests next door used the bathroom one could hear them quite clearly through the wall.

Review 27：The hotel is set in beautiful grounds, very peaceful and well looked after. The hotel itself is a grand old traditional building and decorated with many of the original features still intact. The room was very pleasant, the double bed wide and comfortable, tea/coffee making facilities and toiletries. The breakfast included in the room price was very good, with delicious jams made locally. The breakfast room over-looking the garden is large enough to comfortably accommodate at least 20 guests, and with a lovely view overlooking the garden and swimming pool. The owners are a pleasant Dutch couple who work very hard to make everyone welcome and comfortable. Plenty of parking space, lovely terrace for warm evenings overlooking the garden and swimming pool. A few minutes' drive to town center and the wonderful Spa Thermal Baths.

Review 28：Perfect location, you can basically walk to downtown Spa. Yet, it is anice retreat, away from noise, in a farm-like setting. All details aretaken into account by the owners, who were very helpful and nice.Definetely a gem to be seen, if in the area look no further for atypical Belgian weekend in Spa.

Review 33：Our only problem was that we came in late May and the pool was only just being cleaned so couldn't be used, so don't expect to use the outdoor pool in the spring. The decor in the rooms may not be to everyone's taste.

Unfortunately there is no restaurant at this time ofyear, but Spa is close and the choice of restaurants more than enoughfor any taste. We'll certainly be visiting again!

Review 38：Although this is no fault of the hotels but as a warning to guests, be prepared to walk if you do not want to use your car because buses are not scheduled and taxi's are not always available. We paid 9 Euro's to go the casino and then around midnight could not get a taxi back. They finally found one for us but wanted to charge us 40 euro. We walked. The only other thing is there was a cat roaming around, I guess it belongs to the owners but I am not a cat lover and am quite allergic also.
