Farm Stay Casa da Choqueira sells fast on our site. The Casa da Choqueira is located in a rural area in northern Portugal, between Cabreira and the Gerês. The century-old granite house was completely rebuilt, featuring an outdoor swimming pool with a scenic mountain view.

Review 5：This is a great renovated house in the countryside not far from Penda Geres park. It was quiet when we were there and the hostess was overly concerned with attending to our needs - offering us delicious cakes and tea. She made the most copious breakfast I have ever seen with wonderful cinnamon-sugar french toasts. She didn't speak English and only a small amount of French, but seemed to manage okay. The pool was wonderfully refreshing after a hot day in the park. The room and bathroom were kept very clean. We would visit here again.
Review 6：The house is really pretty, old but very comfortable! The breakfast is really good, with some Portuguese traditional treats like rabanadas. But the soul of the house is its owner: Ms Julia! She is fantastic, authentic and very friendly: she reminds me of my own grandmother.

Review 20：Fantastic setting in the countryside close to Peneda-Gerês in a carefully restored old building. Great breakfast, and spectacular views especially from the pool and terrace areas. Our hostess was very friendly and the place really felt like a genuine home from home.

Review 23：An amazing experience! On the road to the Casa we really started doubting if this was what we had in mind, it is very rural. But when opening the door of the casa you enter another world! Beautifull design, airco in all spaces. Every evening the owner Julia made us authentic food, lovely wine in the guest dining room with an stunishing mountain view. A very special experience!
Review 24：Choqueira was an amazing surprise! I chose it because I love the Gerêsregion, and I was hoping to get a nice and relaxing break surrounded bynature. And I got all that and more. An amazing breakfast and anunforgettable "cabrito" prepared by Dona Julia who really mademe feel at home during my stay. I will never forget those beautiful,peaceful views from the pool, and eating cherries directly from thetree. Enjoyed every moment of it!
