Review 2:Free pickup come and go where ever you are. Beautiful and natural surrending. Kind and easy going owner to match all your needs. Delicious Thai foods cooked by Pai every night you don,t have to find restaurant at outside. You feel at home at Secret Garden.

Review 3:It is a little bit out of town, takes 30 mins to get to the city. But if you know this and are looking for somewhere to unwind. This is your place

Review 4:The hosts were wonderful, excellent food, very reasonable costs. They couldn't do enough to help us. Excellent place for a family. The tours they organised were excellent.

Review 5:I loved the location and the garden setting. I loved waking up to the sound of birds. Pai is an amazing cook and there is a lovely team helping in the kitchen and working to keep the cottages comfortable and clean and the garden beautiful.

Review 6:Nothing.

Review 7:The customer service was amazing - the owners and staff genuinely want you to have a good time and nothing is too much trouble. From the free transfer to the immaculate rooms and home cooked food everything was perfect. Secret Garden is close enough to Chiang Mai to easily get in and out of the city for sightseeing but far enough away to be haven of peace and relaxation

Review 8:No problems at all

Review 9:The owner and family could not have been more friendly and helpful The food was great. The setting is like a small tropical Kew Gardens

Review 10:Chiang Mai weather!! Obviously not a knock against the hotel, but worth mentioning to check that there's no forest brush burning going on during your visit to CM. Makes for poor, stuffy breathing conditions (though your villa will be a nice respite!)

Review 11:Peter, Pai and their staff will go out of their way to make sure you feel welcome and at home. The grounds are stunning, the villas are beautiful and comfortable, and the location is perfect (a quick ride away from the chaos of the city). If you're looking for a chill place to stay in Chiang Mai, this is it. And make sure to eat dinner here..Pai's cooking is AMAZING! Some of the best meals I've had in Thailand..top restaurant quality at half the price.

Review 12:The Secret Garden was very comfortable and clean. Our room gave us the feeling that we were staying in our own secluded bungalow. The hosts ensured that we were well taken care of and helped us plan our time around Chiang Mai.

Review 13:A very clean quiet and peaceful place that we really enjoy during our stay at secret Garden the room is clean and spacious and it was such a wonderful experience for us.Our host Peter his wife Pai,daughter Isabel and their staff really put in their efforts to ensure that our stay would be a memorable one.l would like to say a great thank you to all of them.we will definitely recommend anyone who loves nature to stay at Secret Garden. And it takes about 5minute to the shopping street and 20min to town where you can shop for hours. we will always stay there if we are in Chiangmai.

Review 14:This is really one of the best places I ever stayed on holiday. Pai and Peter have thought of every detail to enhance your comfort. Nothing is to much. Delicious dinner, scooter rental on site, booking of excursions, fantastic little house as hotel room and the place is peacefull!

Review 15:That I couldn't stay longer.

Review 16:The name says it all. Tucked away in the middle of a village (in the San Kamphaeng area, not the town itself), the villas surround a lovely, peaceful garden. I was keen to go sightseeing, but it would have been a lovely place just to laze beside a pond and read a book. Excellent breakfast, and I also recommend the delicious Thai dinners available. Very friendly hosts and staff. Peter and his family have made this a little bit of paradise.

Review 17:None

Review 18:Cabins separetly, wonderfull garden, and outstanding hospitality. Truly a Secret Garden! Everything was given consideration. Even a personal mobil with direct connection for those who needed assistance while strolling around in the nearby countryside or visiting Chiang Mai city.

Review 19:No hot water. Cable for tv didnt work. Far from town. Not too many eating options around. Many mosquitos in room. Cockroaches in room. Breakfast was not good. AC is shut off and you have to ask management to turn it on.

Review 20:The spacious garden grounds.

Review 21:Nothing not to like - it was truly splendid.

Review 22:fabulous atmosphere, great range of music and can request what you like, reasonably priced food and wine, great wine, fantastic food - just like having it home cooked at someone's house, spacious house and lovely, outside areas, own little kitchen, location a bit out of Chiang Mai but still convenient so felt like travelling off beaten path a little, beautiful gardens, excellent service, lovely owners, rustic feel of place. We stayed 4 nights and in spite knowing we were headed for the beach I was very sad to leave. So relaxing - a true home from home. Lovely to be out of Chiang Mai city but near enough to get in and out easily. Bicycles free and had all sizes so our 5 and 7 year old could ride their own - helmets too. Village really interesting with lots of shops and some food places and a really nice umbrella making place and wood painting place. I would recommend to all and would definitely go back!

Review 23:Peter, Pai and Isabel are all such amazing people. We were there for 5 nights in mid-November and we could not have asked for a better stay. The property was amazing (with a great story behind it!), and the staff were more than accommodating. Absolutely beautiful and will recommend to anyone who ever visits Thailand. 5+ stars!!

Review 24:The welcome and real genuine hospitality of Isobel, Peter and Pai was hearfelt. More like being welcome into thier home rather than a hotel. When being hoteliers, nothing is too much trouble. This place is a Special one and a beautiful setting. The food. Incredible. With so much more praise for this family and thier place. A very relaxing and magical stay in a beautiful atmosphere if you want to be outside of the big city. Definately a place to go back to when in Chiang Mai. The bus ride into town if not driving can be a fun way to spend 15 bhat and doesn't take long. And enjoy the food and people of Ba Song. Im sure we will return.

Review 25:There was nothing to dislike..except that I had to leave...

Review 26:Beautiful and peaceful grounds. Stunning artwork and woodwork everywhere you look. The food and hospitality, made you feel welcome and at home. Close to the bigger city but away from the noise and action. Loved it!!

Review 27:It felt like coming home...
