Review 1：A hairdryer in the room would have been good. There is one at reception but it was closed early in the morning at 7:30 when we needed one

Review 4：Gorgeous location and convenient to Mount Rushmore and many more attractions including dining and shopping. Motel was clean and staff were friendly. An incident happened with the key card which inconvenienced us, however the situation was rectified quickly and to our satisfaction.
Review 5：Uncomfortable, old thin mattresses. Out dated bathroom fixtures. We were awakened one morning very early by a barking dog out in the parking area. It barked for 5-10 minutes nonstop.

Review 7：The internet drops frequently. The bed is almost too soft. The AC is outdated and hard to control. I agreed on one other traveler's review: I feel like sleeping in a wind tunnel when AC is on.

Review 15：Odd mix of amenities - microwave and mini fridge, which were not expected, yet no hair dryer, only little tear open packets of shampoo (that were not replenished - how on earth to shower multiple days?), and tiny bar of soap. Underdelivered on basic amenities, and bed was terribly uncomfortable. Air unit also only had one setting - full blast, so was like sleeping in a wind tunnel. I slept terribly both nights we were there
Review 16：Location was convenient to both Keystone and Mount Rushmore as well as downtown Rapid City. View down onto city was beautiful, especially at night. Also, convenient to have mini fridge in room.

Review 20：Big Sky Lodge was the perfect central location for our motorcycle excursions into the Black Hills, The Badlands, Mt. Rushmore, etc. Very convenient parking right in front of your room. Big plus for unloading and loading a motorcycle and pull behind trailer. Friendly staff and great value round out a very good experience. Thank You!

Review 22：Beautiful view of Rapid City!!! We cooked on the gas grill each evening and dined on the patio looking out at the view. Hot tub was an added treat. Convenient to the Black Hills & Mt. Rushmore.

Review 25：Hotel is a little bit out of the way, but not so much so as to hinder your decision to stay there. TV was a 22 in flat screen, but considering we were on our honeymoon, we didn't use it much. WiFi wasn't terribly strong in our room. Room size was a bit small, which was fine because we did a lot of sight-seeing but might be hinderance for those with kids.
Review 26：The staff was amazing. He gave us some tips on what to check out when going to visit Mt. Rushmore. Was very informative and as he was a retired teacher, he knew his stuff. Clean property that is well maintained. The breakfast served was very nice. Good selection of food, including hard boiled eggs. Bed seemed a bit old, but was very comfortable!!!
Review 27：The view from the hot tub was wonderful! The staff is friendly: we arrived mid afternoon and were told, "You can pay in the morning if that's more convenient," and the linens are clean. The hotel is very convenient to the new dinosaur museum, Reptile Gardens, and many other attractions south of Rapid City. I was also happily surprised at the variety provided at the breakfast--since this was a value hotel, I was expecting day-old doughnuts, bad coffee, and a Danish or two, but I was happy to find 3 kinds of cereal, doughnuts/rolls, hard-boiled eggs, coffee, water for tea, juice, and apples/bananas. A great "mom and pop" establishment.
Review 28：We stayed overnight on our way through town. Came in late from Rushmore and they acomadated us with keys even though the desk was closed. Very pleasant staff!

Review 31：Location was key and the price was right. Stayed 3 nights and was looking for a place to crash after long days hiking and walking. We knew the hotel was least of our concern. We came out to view and take in the sites. We visited, caves, Custer, dino park, mt rushmore and devils tower. We needed something clean and convenient. Breakfast was a bit of a stretch. Coffee, milk, oj and lots of sugary treats. Not alot of healthy choices. We would refer family and friends. Fit our needs just fine.
Review 32：Cold hot tub (but I didn't ask about fixing it either), no printer readily available for printing boarding passes (but you can use their main printer), no hair dryer in room (but you can ask front desk). Most everything was fixable, however I'm disappointed about the breakfast - as a diabetic who has gluten issues, I could only eat the fruit. Also, there was only caffeine free tea available for non coffee drinkers.

Review 38：No staff was ever a available at the front desk. No breakfast was provided even though it said it was when I booked the room. Literature in the room also said it was from 7-9:30. We wasted over two hours untl after 8:30 for someone to answer the office door to be told it wasn't offered until the weekend. They could have told us at checkin.

Review 40：We were locked out of our room due to rain getting into the card sensor. We were told it was a common problem, but clearly the owners of 8 years don't care enough to fix it. After a half hour (and after 12 hours driving) of sitting in the office waiting for a solution we were finally able to get in, although we couldn't leave the room again until morning. And that breakfast they speak of? No such thing. Just the same man sitting in the dark watching tv. When we asked about coffee we were told there was a single pot in the room (the room we couldn't re-enter) although two empty, turned off coffee makers sat in the lobby.
