Review 1：It would have been nice to have a kettle in the room to make a cup if tea but you can go to the restaurant and they will ve very happy to help

Review 8：The restaurant is very overpriced in our view. Breakfast is €19.50, which is the sort of price on may pay at a 5 Star hotel in London. The dinner menu is also very expensive, it is a "fine dining" menu which is fine but the amount of food on the plate was very disappointing. I had a main course of guinea fowl with parsnip mash and sauerkraut. The parsnip mash was approximately two teaspoons worth and the sauerkraut possibly on tablespoon so certainly not worth the €23.50 I paid just for my main course. My partners "fish, chips and peas" cost around €22 and my daughters cheese & tomato pizza €9.50. Please do not misunderstand, I enjoy good food and have eaten well in some nice 5 star and Michelin starred restaurants so I do not mind spending the money but quality alone does not fill you at dinner time. ALL the food we ate during our stay was very nice and very well cooked so no issue with the quality and compliments to the chef/s but frankly the value for money was lacking in terms of quantity at dinner and breakfast was way overpriced.

Review 9：Our executive room was spacious, well lit, excellent value for money and very clean. The hotel was clean and the staff friendly , helpful and professional. The location to Venlo centre is excellent.

Review 10：My husband's steak was not up to standard - a bit chewy and undercooked. Considering the very high prices for the food and drink that was on the menu it was disappointing. We declined an alternative but would have expected to at least receive a free coffee and/or brandy/liqueur on the house to alleviate the disappointment. I mentioned the incident at checkout and the lady on reception was disappointed that we were not entirely happy. She offered us a free bottle of wine as a way of apology and also said that she would pass our comments on to the restaurant.

Review 11：The hotel is in a beautiful location. We received a free room upgrade upon arrival and the comfort of the room was exceptional. Vivian who checked us in was friendly, sincere and professional.

Review 22：its not that i didnt like, but many people dont know you can ask during breakfast for a special coffee, not just regular. The hotel has no coffee machine and the lady only walks with hot water and regular coffee. I think they should make it clear to the guests that you can choose mor than regular coffee.

Review 91：food in the reastaurant is a disaster. we had to have dinner there because it was the only open place when we return from our meetings. all other restaurants needed us to be there until 8.30 latest which was not possible for us. there is a massage floor but only working from 9.00 till 5.00 pm and we are aslo working in that period so in case you want to book early or late massage it is impossible. still we will definitely return there fo our next trip becaus in general hotel is really a very good one

Review 92：very nice location in a beautiful forest. very comfortable room and vary well cleaned. also all public areas of the hotel were very clean. restaurant working till quite late which is not usual for holland but very necessary for us since we returned quite late and very well organized spa. most of the staff ws very friendly.

Review 98：when we arrived . i booked a double room ( which in most peoples eyes mean a double bed).i did say we would poss like ground floor due to our luggage. but i wasnt under any impression we would have to pay extra for this .as we were told the double room was twin beds ?? . and only the excutive room had the double and was an extra 40 euros. so i asked for a normal double then on any floor. which i was told was twin beds (this makes no sense. i book a double but you only had twin so why advertise this. to be honest i wasnt at all happy. but as we had just travelled 5 hours on a motorbike from london we just wanted to relax. so we had no option the to pay 40 euro for a double that was only in the excutive room. if it was emailed on booking that there only excutive on the ground floor then we would all be very clear .i really dont like this when hotels do this .as they that by the time you get there there not in the mood to argure they just want there room even if they have to pay extra rather then have the head ache of booking somewhere else.i had experiences like this before on our travels.

We then never saw another waitress for about 1 and 1/2 hours. and could not get any of their attention. So we were past having a desert or another drink. Also I think in this day and age all hotels should have tea/coffee making facilities in the room, and this is one that does not. Extremely disappointed in this for such a high class hotel

Review 116：We booked a Double executive room. When we go to the hotel our room was not ready. So we hired some bikes from the hotel and went into Venlo. When we returned at around 21.30 we where given the keys to our room. When we woke up in the morning i looked for the tea and coffee making equipment only to find there wasnt any. When i rang the reception to find out where it was i was told you only get those facilities in an executive room. When i told them i had booked an executive i was informed that i had been put in the wrong room for the night.... To give the hotel their due, they sent up tea and coffee and deducted the difference from our bill.....

Review 117：The staff is poor, almost unfriendly for some. If you ask a question at the reception, the response is very uninterested, you can almost hear them saying go away. Big difference in how food and wine is served: at on time very friendly, with explaination on the wine, taste a bit first. The second person just poors it into your glass, drops the food on the table and walks away.
