Review 1：staff at meal times had not got a clue. Every order came out wrong and never came together. even if two meals were the same ... no apologies were dealt with by any one in charge.

Review 3：Very slow internet and not available in room. Breakfast was very basic and a lot of rubbish on one of the private beaches that I swam out to. Long way from town.

Review 5：This place is a true hide out, very relaxing with great snorkeling just outside the beach. On the south tip of the island, this place is very quite with only one restaurant but the food was great !

Review 8：If you are looking for party this is not your place. The location is somewhat isolated. The beach is small but has stretches of nice sand among the sharp coralls. Credit card could not be used, cash rules as it seams to do at most places on the island.
Review 9：Friendly and helpful staff, beautiful suroundings, nice wood swings and hammocks in the garden. At night the mixed couloured lights in the trees light up the garden. Comfortable and clean bungalows with good beds, air con, tv, fridge, nice shower. Lots of lizzards in the garden=hardly any moscitos. Great breakfast with a varied buffeet. Good Thaifood with a slightly turistic touch. Their seafood is splendid!

Review 12：The beach area was not always cleaned of the jetsam regularly. Day visitors to the resort were not told to keep to an area and took up residence space on hammock and beach, which was unfair; especially as the beach area was tiny.

Review 14：Place was approximately 15/20 min from pier. Taxi will charge 600 one way. A total rip off. You will have to rent a motorcycle for 600 for 24 hrs. I arrived at low tide and there was a lot of garbage on the beach. You will have to wear water shoes. I even saw a broken bottle. So be careful. Not too sure if it was worth the price.

Review 18：- Lots (!) of ants in the bathroom first evening. Not everywhere, just walking on a certain ant trail and above all in a dead corner of the room. Problem was completely resolved the next day without me having to mention it. But it would have been nice, if that would have been resolved already before my arrival. - Wifi only in reception/restaurant/breakfast area. But I would definitely return!!!
Review 19：Lovely, lovely place!!! I loved it there! Bungalows are spacious and clean, bed comfortable, breakfast & bar area open air next to the sea, very pretty. Breakfast good. Lunch and dinner big choice and good. Beach is small, but pretty with several hammocks and swings. Massage was fantastic! Snorkels and kayaks can be rented. Staff was friendly. Hotel is at the very southern end of the island, far from the party area. Perfect if you just want to relax and stay in a beautiful, peaceful area! No shops or bars nearby. Going elsewhere only with rented motor bike or cab (not expensive). If you're travelling alone (I was) it's not a great place to meet other solo travellers as most guests were young couples or families. But perfect to relax!! Would definitely return!!!

Review 26：On the speed boat from Ban Phe you will see exactly what makes this place so special - that it is far away in both distance and atmosphere from most of the resorts on Samet. The beach is clean and quiet, fringed by trees with hammocks and butterflies. The sea is sandy and deep, with not too many rocks to get in your way and clean and clear waters. The cottages are sweet and clean and comfortable. The beds are delightfully comfortable and clean with lovely sheets. Staff are attentive without being cloying. Around the beach and restaurant area there are well-kept gardens with several wooden swings, lamps in trees and a restaurant deck that looks out onto the sea. If you are looking for somewhere to come and relax, lie in a hammock and swim and bask in the sunshine, this is the perfect place. The restaurant sells lots of fresh fish, which I highly recommend. The rest of the menu is standard Thai island fare, not very exciting, but perfectly acceptable all the same. I came here on my own for 3 nights to escape my busy life in Bangkok and slept soundly every night and returned home feeling refreshed and happy.

Review 61：No swimming pool (they claimed it was being renovated but no one wasworking on it and it was tiny), very little to do apart from sunbatheand snorkel, don't pay extra for a sea view as they all have seaviews, booking in advance cost us more money than if we had booked whenwe arrived, you shouldn't come here alone as there is no one to talkto, the bar closed at 9pm because "the barman was on holiday"and there were consequently no cocktails available. A taxi ride tocivilisation costs about 600 baht (a lot for Thailand) but there isliterally no nightlife so you have no choice (plus the roads are toopoor to walk anywhere).

Review 63：The facilities looked nothing like the pictures online. There was adirty towel in the small boxed bathroom. Tons of bugs inside the room. Ahuge lock and key to lock the room. The shower has no curtain and thetoilet it maybe 2 inches above ground. The bed was hard, the tv wasancient with only one chanel for English speakers. I planned on gettinga massage as advertised on the website but they informed me the massagestaff was gone for the week. The 'resort' which I could hardlycall it a resort was in complete isolation so as I was expecting to do amassage left me with no leisure activity. If you want to preoccupyyourself you must take a boat to town which costs a fair amount, so thatwas a money sham. Nothing was as expected and we really could not standto stay our second night so we left early. Deceiving pictures anddescription. To top it all off, the place charged for the first night aweek prior to stay and we were to pay for second night once we arrivedat resort, however in order for them to use the card I used onbooking.com or any other card I would be charged a 3% surcharge !!!!!Yet another money sham!!This left me furious. Booking said nothing aboutthis and had I know, maybe we would have brought more cash with us. Butwhat is the point of making a reservation online if you can use the cardyou used online?! Booking should have communicated this to us on ourconfirmation email. Horrible experience, horrible damper on a once in alifetime vacation.

It looks like road during war time. We paid a lot for taxi to go and forth. (600bath/way). We requested for a spare blanket but hotel asks us to pay more. The hotel is far from the island center, therefore we could not get anything from outsides, eg: snack ...
Review 70：Natural, very quiet. Glasses are thick enough, therefore we didn't hear the noise from the sea. Room is equipped with nice color blanket and pillow. Good for couples who want to escape from busy cities or for ones who want to write/read.
