Review 1：A little difficult to find. Could be a challenge driving to in the winter snows.

Review 6：Lovely small family run boutique hotel in rural area above Kobaird. Rooms were spacious and clean with small kitchenettes. Beds were comfortable, bathrooms above average in size and furnishings. A lot of the breakfast food was homemade!

Review 9：Everything! Our hosts were absolutely amazing and so accommodating, their hospitality was of those of your long lost family that can't do enough for you! I'm Gluten free and Irena catered for me beautifully, going out of her way not to make me feel left out of her delicious home cooked meals. They organised a river rafting trip for us and given us advice on all the activities to do and places to see.

Review 23：Innkeeper Irina Krancj is delightful, welcoming, and an invaluable source for the history and lore of the valley. Her breakfasts, which offer prodigious quantities of sausages made and ham cured by her husband, bread, plum jam and wildflower honey she prepares, cheese, farm fresh eggs, and yogurt/granola will launch the visitor's day in fine style. The only potential drawback for some is that going out for dinner requires going snaking down the mountain road to Kobarid built by the interwar Italian occupiers of Slovenia - a road that demands considerable care. The advantage is the opportunity to wake up in a high Alpine valley of magical views, in a gasthof of comfort, hospitality and value.

Review 29：Elena, her husband and daughter made us feel at home from the start. The location is heavenly, sitting just below Mount Krn with gorgeous views all around. Many trails in town to waterfalls and a 15th century church just steps away. The town and area are rich with history(former Yugoslavia, WWI Isonzo Front) and our hosts were happy to share this with us during our stay. A sense of peace and harmony will set in as soon as you enter the valley. I've never felt so at home in all my travels. We can't wait to return for a longer visit in the future. The breakfast and dinner were all delicious and plentiful. The room was clean, very comfortable, spacious with a great view. With her caring nature, Elena makes your stay feel like you are coming home to Mom's home cooked meal at the end of a long day outdoors.

The staff was very kind, helpful and really involved in offering the best conditions to the guests. The breakfast was very rich and the meals we had there were excellent home-made dishes, completed each time with some delicious desserts. Not to forget the good music that played during our dinners in the restaurant. The room was very clean and there is also room service at request.

Review 38：The apartment was large though not comfortable for spending time in as there really was no place to sit other than bed or kitchen table. Beds were so-so as far as comfort. Food was excellent and staff extremely friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend it however.

We had a great dinner with local ingredients and a local wine that was very reasonably priced. The views are spectacular and we enjoyed a glass of wine on the terrace. The included breakfast was incredible with a full range of options including eggs, meat and cheese platter, yogurts, cereals, and homemade jams & cheese spreads. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Review 101：This is located about 10-15 minutes from Kobarid up a windy road in thehills surrounding Kobarid. Our lodging was a small but very cute andclean apartment with kitchenette, balcony and nice view of the gardensand hills. The owner was so nice and helpful; she gave us somesuggestions for nice local hiking to a nearby waterfall and a walk tonearby village of Dreznca. At the suggestion of other reviewers weelected to dine in and sample her wonderful Slovenian cuisine at a veryreasonable cost. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty. Wifi worked great.

Review 104：Our room was large and included a kitchen. The view was beautiful and the location is in a small village within walking distance to a couple of waterfalls (about 10-15 drive from Kobarid). The dinner was very good and reasonably priced. Overall, an enjoyable stay!
