Reviews for Khang Khang 2 Hotel

Review 1:There is a huge demolition site behind the houses on the other side of the street (see picture). We didn't experience any noise (all buildings are already knocked to the ground) but that might change when they will start building there in the future (no idea whats the planning). Some of the staff hardly speak any English.

Review 2:Very spacious and bright room with windows on two sides. View over the city and further out the sea (we were on fifth floor) The hotel is located in a nice and quiet local neighbourhood south of the city center. Beach and bus station are just 5 min walking just like the bus station. Strong wifi. Bike rental for free (but don't expect superbikes). Breakfast not included, but several banh mi (10.000 dong) stalls closeby. To our taste Quy Nhon was a great place to stay, beach and boulevard almost as great as in Nha Trang but without the hordes of tourists. The charm of Quy Nhon is the lack of foreign tourists and commercial bustle!

Review 3:The room was a little basic for the price. Really hard beds, which may be a good thing for some people

Review 4:Helpful staff, nice view, quiet neighbourhood near beach, free bicycle rental

Review 5:the windows doesn't have good curtain so I got the sun early in the morning

Review 6:the staff is very friendly. In the opposite of the hotel there is a little shop that sell very good "paté chaud" .The boss is an old man very friendly and talkative.

Review 7:First, I like the room I stayed in, but the lights turned off, it's not perfectly dark owing to neon sign of the hotel on the highest floor. Second, the pillow, the bedsheets, and the blanket smells some odor from sweat of other guests or not enough drying in the sun. Last, I heard and saw some guests' quirks and noise at night; even one night I saw a naked man wearing only underwear in front of my room; but it's not related to the hotel itself.

Review 8:First, almost perfect privacy in my room on the highest floor Second, kind staffs Third, good location to explore city center and the beach Last, cheap but spacious room; cheap rental of bicycle ($2 per day) All in all, quite satisfactory

Review 9:Room was cleaned more in the middle than in the corners or under the beds...

Review 10:Good hotel 300m from beach, big rooms and beds, good silent A/C, flat screen TV, fridge etc. Near bus station, but 3km from the center and train station.

Review 11:The staff really went out of their way to make my stay as comfortable as possible. The value for money is great and I would certainly like to stay here again.

Review 12:One day they forgot to do the housekeeping but it was no problem to get clean towels, so never mind! The bed was a bit hard.

Review 13:We liked this place very much, actually we returned to it after a bad experience at one of the big much more expensive hotels at the other end of town, it was clean and rather new, had nice tv and strong wi-fi, nice with a lift. The staff hardly spoke any English but they did their best. It is only a 10 minutes walk from a quiet beautiful beach. You can grab your coffee on the way down there, the hotel lies in a pleasent neighbourhood. Ask for a room on the 5th or 6th floor, there's a great view for there.

Review 14:Staff speak almost no English. Hot water very unreliable. Beds are quite hard.

Review 15:Quiet location and only 5-minute walk to the beach. Spacious rooms.

Review 16:Was supposed to be a bath, there was not.

Review 17:We only stayed one night it was comfortable enough. Not worth to money we paid.

Review 18:We arrived at 3 am night. Nightbell and réception was outstanding friendly and clean rooms even bathroom need no fixing

Review 19:The staff is very helpful and friendly and helpful. The room arespacious. It is a very quiet hotel. I lovef it.

Review 20:No food.apart from that no complaints

Review 21:Very clean very helpfull staff good location

Review 22:Served no Breakfast

Review 23:Great location and super friendly staff and very big rooms

Review 24:It;s a good stroll into the centre but it is pleasant and no feat.

Review 25:I liked the staff but they are unused to foreigners and have limited english.I quite liked that though. I had a room on 6th floor with super view over roof tops and partially on the sea. For breakfast I went to the nearby En Viet hotel, a big seafront hotel about 4 to 5 mins away, They too had very limited english and must have thought I was someone famous. Quy Nhon is a good place to visit and the locals are not foreigner weary which I found so nice.

Review 26:Nothing really, just credit card terminal was not working, one has to pay in cash.

Review 27:Surprisingly nice for the price - spatious room, modern flat TV with HBO, fridge, A/C, large bathroom, 300m to beach, quiet location on the small side street. I spent couple of really nice days there.

Review 28:I booked the room at 8:40am, arrived at Quy Nhon at 6pm. My room was notready, guy at the reception asked me to wait (he could not speak anyEnglish) he said only service room ok? Anyway, the service room was 5x4m for 14$ a night. Super small for this money in vietnam(I have beentraveling more than a month here). The room was full of cigaret smoke. Imentioned non-smoking room when I booked it! I was not well, that's whyI booked the room in advance. He never offered me anything else! I founda nice hotel 50 meters away, with larger rooms for 10$ a night, superclean and non smoking.(my Thien hotel). And they can speak english here.I just wasted money for nothing in Kang Khang2. There are so manyhotels, nicer, cheaper and look like the town is empty these days. 14$ anight is a rip off. For a service room full of cigaret smoke? A joke!

Review 29:Nice spacious clean room, friendly staff, for à very reasonable price
