Rasa Sayang Resort sells fast on our site. Surrounded by a mature tropical garden, Rasa Sayang Resort is set 350 feet from Sayang Beach, a private beach of Ko Lanta. It is about 0.7 miles from Pra Ae Beach (0.7 miles) and 1.4 miles from Klong Dao Beach. This resort features a restaurant, massage service and water sport equipment. During the stay, guests are provided with free parking space and free WiFi.
Outstanding with its Thai-style architecture, each unit is compete with wooden floorings and furniture. Room amenities include air conditioning, a sofa and a wardrobe. En suite bathrooms are supplied with a shower, a hairdryer and free toiletries.

Reviews for Rasa Sayang Resort

Review 1：Even though the beach is just 3 minutes walking, a swimming pool for the small children can sometimes be very nice. They did not have any. The beach is not a private beach, it's long beach which is a very large (4 / 3 km) beach with several resorts on it.

Review 2：The bungalow was really good. Large enough for the 4 of us (2 small children). Currently there are only 9 bungalows, so very relax and quiet place to stay.

Review 3：They had given our room away and we had to fight to get our room back. But we finally got the room we paid for.

Review 5：Bathroom had an unpleasant odor. This is due in part to the heat and the fact that the toilet drainage isn't great. No hot water even after they promised to fix it. English level of the staff wasn't fantastic but eventually managed to communicate. Not to do with the hotel but if you are looking for decent food don't eat on the beach or any of the restaurants offering "western food". Go up to the main road and eat at any of the small Thai places or street vendors that dot the whole island.

Review 6：Spacious, comfortable bungalows. A quick 2 min walk to the beach that wasn't over-populated. Friendly staff that were ready to help and/or give you a lift.

Review 7：We didn't find the lady on reception very friendly or helpful. When we arrived to check in she barely said hello & we were standing there for around 10 mins while she seemed to prepare a receipt for check-in. I really don't know what took her so long to organise things as we were the only ones there but it didn't make for a very good first impression. She didn't seem to have great english as she wasn't able to help us much with our questions about the area

Review 8：Good location, just a 2 minute stroll to the beach where there is also lovely restaurants for dinner etc. We also got breakfast at these restaurants which was good value - lovely museli, yoghurt and fruit. Beach was lovely. Room was nice & spacious. Location - not too far from the night market or ferry port (short tuk tuk ride - note it can be expensive to get tuk tuks around the island in comparison to other places in thailand).

Review 10：The staff were lovely, they couldn't help us enough- always going out of their way for us. The whole atmosphere was amazing. Very relaxed and chilled, would like to go back again.

Review 13：Weird smell in the bathroom, coming from the sink. Sometimes no warm water, which could be fixed by the staff but still an hassle. No breakfast included, best option is to go to a restaurant near the road cause at the beach is more expensive and less quality.

Review 18：Felt a bit pressurised by one of the staffs at the sayang beach,He wasn't happy that we didn't have dinner at the sayang beach restaurant,and made comments to us about been unhappy about it,and he insisted we ate they the following day,of course we didn't,as we were put off by such attitude and besides,they were lots of other restaurant on the beach that we preferred,however,Rasa sayang beach and the staff were brilliant and very helpful.

Review 22：Great value for money and staff was excellentPrivate bungalows with a private beach 5 minutes down the road. With a scooter from Rasa Sayang (easy and reasonably priced, we had no issues) for like 250 baht a day(?) you can basically get around the whole island. I am definitely coming back here!

Review 25：Mosquito net was hung weird and doesn't work for the bed, and the wifi kept going in and out unless I stayed on the deck. Closest beach and restaurant are a bit of a walk away and you really need a scooter to explore the area as it's kind of far from everything.

Review 26：Nice, newish and roomy cabin with a comfortable bed. Not too far from the beach. Good price for scooter rental. Great if you want to hide far away from everything and everyone.

Review 27：The property is about midway between the main city and the first of the popular beaches along the coastline. I could take a short walk to a beautiful and lightly populated beach every morning. The bungalows are kept very clean and they provide a nice level of comfort.

Review 29：The location was outstanding, literally 2 minutes from the sea. The bungalows are awesome and the host "Kun Bun" is a phenomenal person. You can rent a scoopy and everything is just meters from your reach.

Review 33：The place is located 80 meters from the beach, but us half price of the beach front resort. The owner is very friendly and helpfull, while do not disturb in any way. The venue is still under some development, so it will get even better. On the spot mopets to hire and tricycles to go wherever on Koh Lanta. Guest can use the beach and facilities of the beach resort with great restaurant (sayang beach resort).
