Review 1：The room had a smell of musk, which we decided to give the benefit of doubt and overlook first impressions, the staff hadn't got one word of English between them when we asked for the restaurant so we followed our noises and found one, the other two on the resort seemed to be closed down, the resort in general while clean had become overtime delapitated and rundown, you could see how this resort at some time had earned the 5 stars, but this must have been a very long time ago, at least 20 years. The food was edible but that was about all, the location had nothing to offer so we decided to go to bed for the night, the bed was the most uncomfortable I have very slept on, the springs were literally coming through the mattress. In the morning after little or no sleep we decided to check out, we had booked for two nights but could not stomach the place any longer, when it came to checking out the staff told us as we had booked for two nights they were charging us for the two, even though we were unhappy the accommodation, after considerable negotiations with the management they decided to charge us for one.We have stayed in many hotels in Vietnam and have given all good reviews, but this place does not deserve anything good to be said about it, don't stay here.

Review 3：The lock on our door broke and we were unable to get out of our room. We called the front desk and they didn't understand what we were saying. In the end, staff arrived and rescued us and moved us to a new room.

Review 4：Lots of area to stroll around outside. Beautiful scenery. Terrific breakfast. Clean. Everyone tried to be very helpful-the language barrier made it difficult at times.

Review 5：Please don't keep monkeys and a deer in a cage. It is very upsetting to see.

Review 8：-Best location in Quynhon beach, I believe only this resort owns a private beach. - Well architect and design . Expensive interior design & materials.

Review 9：breakfast buffet is in a bland, big restaurant that is probably catered to weddings. It would be much better to have an ocean view for breakfast than to feel uncomfortable in a wedding themed place. But one is in vietnam so the wedding theme is probably a good way to introduce tourists to the local culture. :)

Review 10：The place has been fixed up a lot since the last time I stayed there. It is now a good alternative to the Avani, nice ocean view room, nice beach for an early morning swim and still be able to walk to restaurants and clubs.

Review 11：- wood floor was not well clean, rough with sand. Bathroom light is dull. Bathroom exhausting fan didn't work out well, mirror full of steam after a shower. - Breakfirst buffet is a chaos, not sufficient food provided in a timely manner. No overall management on the serving floor therefore the service is not appropriate for a 4 star level. it should be 3 star.

Review 12：nice ocean view and breeze. The entire resort is beautiful at a nice area. It just need a better care and good management to prepare for a better services to meet foreign customers. This current status is only adequate for domestic customers, not overseas for such a declared rate.

Review 13：Not much variety of choices on the breakfast menu. No lighting on level 3 through out the corridor. Antenna was fuzzy while watching cable tv.

Review 16：Stayed for two nights. Staff is friendly but doesn't speak any English. Ghost restort, looked like nobody was there, which gives an ery feeling. The basic is good, nice spacious rooms, but hard matrasses and the hotel in general looked poorly maintained.

Review 17：Dieu Tri Restaurant, owned by the resort, was not very good.. We ordered a small portion of chicken, but they brought us a whole chicken and made us to pay for it.

Review 29：Don't book a room with a garden view as we did initially becausethere was very little garden and it overlooks a main road where hornsare sounding 24/7.The language barrier was a huge problem (we areseasoned travellers to Asia) and nobody was helpful except Barbara'sbackpackers place.Also it is very annoying when the locals keep onsaying you are rich and give me money!!!which does not endear you tothese people.

Review 30：Sea view from our room and the room itself was very spacious.Barbarasbackpackers good food and a very nice Vietnamese couple run it and theyarranged our transport to the airport.
