Review 1：Poor wifi speed Outdated tv system. Could smell a natural gas leak near outdoor sitting area. Electrical outlets that were worn out And unable to keep devices in place.

Review 3：Size of room compared to price. Expect even an "efficiency" to have more one comfortable place for seating. Bed was atrocious Shower was weak Parking VERY tight. Have a huge ding on drivers door Kitchen was a joke. Fixed coffee 1st morning and the creamer was rock hard. Cheap, cheap, cheap. "Provided" coffee for 1st morning only? What's that all about?

Review 7：It was hard to find since the street it was on had several different forks, map quest took us close. We didnt realize that East Bay road is the same street so drove forever trying to find it. The office closes in the evening so wasnt able to reach anyone for directions.
Review 8：It was close to the family and wedding we were attending. Good restaurants nearby. Was cozy, clean and had a nice pool and patio area in back, nice front porch area with chairs to relax in. Room is smaller but was great for two people needing an affordable place to stay in a good location. Beach is directly across the street.

Review 10：The manager of this hotel is the most wonderful and accommodating person ever. She was a delight. The rooms were clean and the location was convenient. No excessive noise either.

Review 14：Queen's Gate is a very friendly place - and that includes other guests as well as staff and resident Siamese. We especially enjoyed the central courtyard with its gazebo (heated, with grill, table and chairs, and comfortable chairs) and the pool area. We were not able to travel with our dog, but this would be a great spot to stay when we do. We had a good time meeting other guests and their dogs - a welcome benefit while missing our dog!
Review 15：Blanket from closet smelled. I thought the pictures online when making the reservation indicated a much nice facility. I asked to be moved, and was accommodated, but then was charged. Deceitful.

Review 17：Bathroom sink should be the "kitchenette". Toaster next to tooth brush....not very nice. Tiny place. They say max. 4 but thats impossible: no space for luggage, only 2 chairs, one tiny sink next to the microwave.

Review 19：We stayed here because a friend was getting married at the sandbar in Anna Maria island. From the moment we checked in everyone was so friendly and polite. All our questions were answer. I chose this resort because they allowed dogs and we had 2 with us. The property was beautiful.

Review 21：My husband and I stayed here after flying over from Scotland and planning our wedding May 2014 and it was such a romantic few days. So we stayed again OCTOBER 2015 this time with our immediate family after our wedding 6th October and we now have memories that will last a lifetime! Highly recommend this spot!

Review 24：Did not like the noise level-the refrigerator made noises, the walls made noises, the other guests made noise, and the room is right on Gulf Drive so had road noise. Also the bathroom is very small.

Review 27：No hot water in the shower. Contruction worker sitting on our rooms porch talking on phone. He was in our way when we tried to get in our room. He walked away after 3-5 minute phone conversation. Pictures are decieving. We were room 1 next to the office. We could hear the phone ringing in the office through the wall.

Review 34：This room is small. We didn't spend a lot of time here because we were in town for a family wedding and another family member had rented a large house nearby. However, if we had wanted spend time in the room, it may not have been as comfortable as the larger cottages that are available in this same location. Storage for clothes, food, and especially bathroom necessities is limited. But again, this was in the one bedroom for 2 travelers, not a cottage. We would definitely stay here again as we enjoyed our stay very much!
Review 35：We stayed in the one bedroom #1. This room might be better suited for weekend stays, but we stayed 5 nights and enjoyed it very much. It is right across the street from the beach and convenient to trolley stops as well. The pool and grounds were both very nice. The manager was seemingly always on property and very attentive to anything wee needed. The king size bed was very comfortable!
Review 36：I love the fact it is pet friendly. However not all travelers are like me and bring (and use) their clean up bags. So there was a lot of doggie #2 on the property. I suggest they post doggie clean up bags outside with a sign reminding people to clean up after their pets.
Review 37：We rented the 2 bedroom cottage. It was comfortable and everything seemed new/ well kept and very clean. Nice huge screen TV! We were very happy and steps away from the beach. Kathy and Brenda were lovely.

Review 43：This is a great place to stay, as close to the beach as you're going to get, and centrally located to get around easily. The rooms aren't huge, but this is the perfect spot if you're just trying to get away to the beach for a few days. They also have larger rooms that would be more appropriate for families or longer stays. I have stayed several places on the Island, but this is my new favorite and I will definitely be coming back.
Review 44：You could not find a better location than Queens Gate Resort. We stayed in a room versus a cottage so the individual room facilities were limited but the microwave and fridge were extremely useful. The room was comfortable, the kids loved the pool, the beach access was fantastic and the staff was wonderful. We will definitely be back for another stay.

Review 56：Felt like we were staying in a cabin rather than a hotel room. Very convenient with pool outside of door making it easier to watch children. Liked patio for relaxing in evenings and possibly meeting new people. All in all, thoroughly enjoyed our stay & will return.
Review 57：The entire hotel is very old. My toilet was falling out of the wall, no ventilation in the bathroom unless you open the window that is in the shower.... They used cardboard to seal the fridge, I was told when I got there that they had an ice box and to get my ice from there (also written in the book in my room) was yelled at by some lady who works there when I went to get ice the next day. They do not have any kind of room service and did not provide a broom, WE ARE STAYING AT A BEACH! I really hated everything about my stay in that hotel. There are much nicer places and beaches for better value within a very short distance of this one.

Owner was very polite and there were onsite laundry facilities that were clean and operable. Ironing board available at the laundry room. Rooms were clean and cozy with adjustable climate control. Area was quiet. Everything on the island is a short drive which includes Publix, so you could store snacks in the fridge.
