Review 1：No elevator and we lived on the third floor. It was close to the sea but we hadn´t realised that it wasnt a swimming beach.

Review 2：Nice rooms, balcony, pool, great breakfast. Nice to be close to the mainstreet and shopping centre in the main city on the island.

Review 8：The resort is located by the beach and quiet, yet walking distance from Saladan town center. Easy to catch a taxi or find rental bikes near the resort, so that you can go to relax at other beaches too!

Review 9：Breakfast was fabulous pools.New block room lovely.Great location for markets and eating. Great starting point to explore the island, the hotel hire motorcycles, which removes the worry of handing your passport to a stranger! Would recommend this hotel , loved our stay and would definitely book again. I had read a couple of poor reviews after I booked, I need not have worried.

Review 10：Disgusting stinking river or raw sewage right next to the pool. flys were landing on this then landing over food snd drink at pool bar and breakfast food. be very careful what you eat there!! The barman was washing the fruit with tap water snd then putting it in my drink. Not enough sun loungers, staff 'fined' us when we had breakfast without realising it wasn't included. Got charged double rate and they were really rude. Cleaners didnt really clean properly there were dead Mosquitos splattered all over walls and floor and lots of left objects from the last guests.

Review 12：Smell of the small " sewage river" which is not covered and wich is very near of the pool and one of the buildings. Why do not they just build for example a wooden cover for that?

Review 13：There is a long but narrow pool in where you can easily swim a long distance. Plus then there is another pool where all others can just relax in warmer water.

Staff willing to please, great location on very interesting tidal estuary ,swimmable, upgrade to beachfront room greatly appreciated, spacious room, good breakfast , good pool and pool access room worth the extra ,quiet , lots of interesting reasonably priced waterfront restaurants on stilts nearby, night food market every night, one minute walk to town with lots of shopping. One of the most attractive and best value resorts we have stayed at in 4 months in Thailand. Should be a 4 star not a 3 star.

Review 36：The first week of our stay the Wifi was like a lottery but after a blackout the login was different and worked much better.The poolarea is a bit small and lacked sunbedmattrasses.There was no service at all at the poolarea if you did not order any food, the food was then served by a waitress from the restaurant and the left-overs was not taken away until all guests leaved the poolarea (wich made the ants go berserk). There is only one ashtray (what I could find) wich led to a lot of cigarettebutts on the ground. When you asked for an ashtray the waitress just rolled her eyes and it took 5 minutes for them to find one (I did this three times and gave up). There was neither an ashtray on our balcony.The grassarea between the pool and the beach looks like a dump.The sunbeds by the Beach did have mattrasses but the location of them were really bad, just a concreteshelf on top of the beach.The ladyman in the poolbar did not like people or orders at all, rolling his eyes like all the other in the restaurantstaff (he did get a bit better after a week or so).The bar closed at 11 pm and had no atmosphere at all, we really like to have a glass before bedtime but there was nothing that tempted, no music and no tables to sit at. Why not a bit of music and som tables?The showers in the room could not keep the temperature so it changed between freezing and boiling wich resultet in you jumping in and out of the waterstream.The worst of all (believe it or not) was when we checked out, we wanted the room for 3 extra hours we were told to pay an additional 900 thb (just under 30$) after we stayed there for 14 nights! So we said no thank you and asked if they had a shower for us to use before leaving. When we were ready for the shower they showed us an outdoor "shower" in the bushes outside the hotell by the parikng lot with a kind of rug hanging around the trees. The shower itself was a big container containing fresh water and a bucket to pour over us.

Review 37：The location was good and very close to the beach. The food was ok. I guess we got one of the newer rooms with a pool/sea-view. The bed was great and the size of the room was good. The housekeepingstaff was great! Good internetspeed (when you won the wifi-lottery)

Review 38：It's an older hotel and it shows !! We were offered an up-grade but chose not to take it because of the stench in the room caused by the drainage in the bathroom. The cleanliness of the room was poor.

Review 40：We were in the all season wing, the old part of the hotel. In order to go to our rooms we had to cross a small bridge on a open air sewer. the smell was disgusting. We were asked to pay all our stay in advance.

Review 44：- the superior rooms had no warm water, in the end it occured that there were to little tourist in that wing and the management wanted to save money and energy on not turning the heater on! They did not react when we reported about no warm water, they put it on when we were moving out earlier and wanted our money back - loads of rubbish in the canal under the balcoons - washed out, tiny beach towels in a size of hand towels! - safe additionally paid per day - bad value for money!

Review 45：It is in the city center but therefore the beach is very poor

Review 46：Low season is really low season in Koh Lanta. A lot of shops andrestaurants are closed. Even the waterfall and the caves are closed. Ifyou like quiet, it's ok. Our hotel was almost deserted. The localpeople acts if there is nothing to do.

Review 47：The pools. We could walk into the pool from our private terrace. Thestaff was friendly, but were bored by the quietness.

Review 48：Smell of sewer in bathroom and also in the bar area in the garden. The shower did not have a curtain and all bathroom got wet when showering. Rubbish and old furniture stored inside the wall in the backside of the hotel building. Supply of extra beds and towels together with cleaning equipment is stored outside the rooms. Hotel could be nice but it seems the management is sloppy.

Review 50：The staff are mostly unfriendly and rarely smile, which I find very strange considering that the Thais are usually very warm and friendly. I wonder if they're overworked or simply lack training. Breakfast was nothing to shout about.

Review 51：I liked the swimming pool, and the rooms. The hotel was very close to good eateries, and extremely convenient for shopping. The pool bar served very nice cocktails at affordable prices especially during happy hours. Our bartender Monica deserves praises.

Review 52：Hot water heater was broken in our building the first day. They knew it,but made no mention of it, nor offered anything to make up for it. Itwas fixed a day later and it didn't bother us too much, but I thinkthey could have handled it better.

Review 53：Location is only a block from the main street, walking distance from theferry, and on the beach (though not the best beach). The rooms were verynice, spacious, with a nice covered patio (on our ground level unit). Wealso like Ko Lanta. A good place to rent a motor scooter and explore.
