Review 1：Despite the fact that I like so much about the environment, the lightingof the surrounding isn't very comforting, it's rather dark. Andabout the lift, it had only one lift and it was really slow, I suggestfor those who are waiting, stop, just take the stairs, it's 10 timesfaster. But we will have to wait because we had luggages. There'sone thing in particular that repelled me is that the service of thestuff and waiters are incredibly unfriendly, there're 30 of us thatsaw they treat foreigners(European) so well and friendly and when itcome to us, it's another person with a rude personality. As if weare there to be hated, we did not do anything wrong at all, and why arewe being treated differently.

Review 2：A very oreintal designed hotel, I really enjoy the vintage environmentwhich makes me feel like going back in the old days.

Review 3：We are very suprised that their breakfast doesnt have Halal foods for the Muslims like us who stayed there. The toilets making us hard as there is no waterhose pipe for us to do clean up ourselves aft urinating or doing business. And for the pool access room at level 2..i would really suggest they would have made another pool for the public to dip in and swim. For what i know, pool access room..the mini pool can only swim by the people who booked mainly for the pool access room guests. And please renew the gym fitness room equipments. They should have wifi provided in the room too as to make others easily surf the net for their guests own comfort instead of going down to level 1 or pay for the wifi.

Review 4：We like the cleanliness of the hotel. The view and scenery from our hotel room even its at 2nd level but its beautiful. We love the pool access room as we can have our own time swimming just right infront of our balcony yard. The bed was comfortable. Their day bed was unexpected. It was big enough for us to lay down just like a bed. The dimmed lights and decorations in the room is perfect for newly couples as it have the romantic surrounding.

Review 5：As a fairly reputable hotel, we expected more flexibility from the hotel. We were charged for the bottled water (that was placed in the fridge) which we mistook for the complimentary glass bottled water that was placed outside. When explained we weren't clearly told about the different types of water when we arrived, instead of being empathetic the staff told us that we should have called the reception to clarify if we weren't clear from the beginning. It wasn't an issue paying for the water which cost is negligible but rather how inflexible and unreasonable the hotel is in dealing with this situation. It was almost a great place to stay till the last day. Perhaps teaching your staff to have a little more grace and being understanding towards your customers will be something the hotel will need to work on.

Review 12：Nicely designed hotel with stunning view out over the bay from the 5th floor. The big bus from the airport dropped us off at the bottom of the driveway, it costs 150 baht per person. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast in a morning was very good and a decent selection for the price, the brown bread in particular was very good. Very short distance to the bay ( about 15 mnutes walk) for swimming and lots of local shops and cheaper food available as the hotel is set back a little bit from the bay. We had a motorbike so it was very easy to get about and these can be rented stress free through the hotel. The pool looked lovely although we spent time mostly on the beach. If we went to Ao Nang again we would probably stay again. A very nice hotel at a good price.

Review 25：Although we booked reservations at a higher price to insure the ability to cancel within a certain time frame, the hotel chain charged our cards immediately. Emails back and forth with booking.com insured our reservations remained in tact, but the bottom line is that they never offered to refund me the additional $25 I paid in this case. The pools were not very large. The beach was really too far from the hotel. You will tire walking there every day. The hotel is on a hill, and so if you are older book another hotel. The hot water was rare. The linens were thread-bare. The pillows were as hard as rocks. The staff was inattentive and not really friendly. There was not a comfortable place to sit in the whole hotel. There was no free wifi in the room, and it is the year 2014! The relax room (where there was free wifi) was loaded with mosquitoes. The electricity went off a couple of times. There were no really good restaurants nearby at all. In fact the whole area had very mediocre high priced food. In the future, I would book another beach area instead of Ao Nang, and I would definitely book another hotel.

Review 26：The pools (although smallish) were kept clean. The breakfast buffet did have variety. The hotel is on a hill and if there is a tsunami, you will definitely survive.

Review 32：Overall impression of hotel is it is nice, comfortable & relaxed, good for family who wants to have fun at the beach and return to a nice well run hotel. The staff spoke good English & very helpful with dinner suggestions. Dining room was spacious, breakfast spread was excellent with Thai & Western dishes. The view from the swimming pool was breathtaking, from the ground, we could see the cliffs and the sea. With the umbrellas, deck chairs, it was just charming. They had open concept sitting room with free wi fi. Lots of comfy seats & tables & greenery. The drinks at the poolside bar were good & at great prices. They had a Saturday bbq with band which is great.

Review 49：The room wasn't very clean. Dead bugs squashed on walls, very thicklayer of dust and debri under sink. Hard bed. Found an animal hair in mypool side meal and when I complained she said she couldn't see itbut then changed my meal for another. Staff hardly spoke English, rude.The maids were congregating on the floor just outside our room? (Nostaff room?) In the breakfast room the staff we're leaning all overthe furniture when they should have been serving. One of the bell boysstarted checking for food in his teeth in the lift mirror when taking upour bags. The hotel has potential but all of the staff need a lot moretraining. When checking out then manager was quite rude.

Review 51：The walk to beach is along dusty road. Upslope back from beach plus final climb to actual hotel on mid slope. Room has bad smell from toilet. Staff not able to communicate in simple english.

The roomwas cleaned daily and was always nice to come back to after a long dayof snorkelling. Breakfast was included in our rate and was also lovely.This place is great value for money.

Review 59：The hotel is a bit far from AoNong's centre so quite a walk to anywhere (or a 60 baht taxi). The hotel feels understaffed and it is quite difficult to communicate with staff, whose level of English seemed really basic - compared to other Thai hotels we stayed at. If you were thinking of using the gym, it is not great, it has some weight machines and one cross trainer.
