Review 1：The staff were not switched on, they forgot things and were not very good at communicating. The food in the bar was also not worth the money.

Review 2：The pool was nice, the rooms were quite pretty little huts, but not in the best condition. You step out your rooms and you are on the beach, which was very nice.

Review 5：Pillows and bed are really hard. Restaurant and breakfast were simply bad. Warm buffet breakfast mainly served in shaving dishes, but supposedly "warm foods" were cold and served open (tops taken off). Vegetables and fruit were served on a plate in the heat (not cold or iced), which left fruits and vegs warm. Freshly baked omelet/eggs and pancakes were the only good things for breakfast. Restaurant dinner were also low quality for the price paid. Pre courses were served together with main course. (Took ages) Pre course (calamari) was served cold and was more flour than calamari. Restaurant staff's English is overall really bad.

Review 6：Super friendly staff, amazing location; Right on the beautiful Long beach. All kinds of cosy beach restaurants/bars around. (Mr Wee Pizzeria around the right corner has amazing pizzas as well as Thai food! Absolutely recommended too!) Super smooth sands and clean beach right at 2 min walking from the houses and warm, clear sea waters (30 degrees Celsius) for swimming. Amazing sea view outdoors. Beautifully cosy, spacious and clean house with good (hot) shower and beautiful front-porch and 2 beds (1p & 2p bed). Room was Cleaned every day and towels were changed proactively. Facilities at the hotel: great! Taxi and shuttle services to sala Dan (100baht for 2 p), laundry services (100 baht p kg), restaurant/bar located right at the beach, swimming pools available, beach towels and long, comfortable sunbathing chairs in front of the beach and pools. Sunbathing chairs in front of the beach in the sun available or under a roof. Overall had an amazing stay!

Review 8：Location was super! Right on the beach - the resort had lots of beach chairs available to watch the spectacular sunsets. It was quiet and peaceful. It is called Long Beach for a reason. It seems you can walk forever. But just 2 or 3 minutes walk along the beach would take you to lots of great inexpensive restaurants and convenience stores. There were fire shows to watch for free every night on the beach. Boat tours could pick you up right on the beach in front of the resort. Super massages available at the resort right on the beach - you can watch the sun go down while getting a massage. Very relaxing place!

Review 9：We were unable to charge anything to our room on a tab at the bar and restaurant which was very inconvenient. Also, the wifi didn't reach the bungalow we were staying in making it difficult to sort out issues I was having with my credit car and to arrange onward travel.

Review 10：The location is perfectly situated along the Long Beach area of Koh Lanta, a beautiful stretch of beach that is well maintained and close to many beach bars and restaurants. The staff didn't speak very good English, but were very helpful.

Restaurant area and dishes also need upgrading, no tables set, all do it yourself, quality/choice of breakfast poor and food cold, good basic fruits though. If hotel spent on paint and landscaping, would make a huge difference! Price-value as was, was good though, would be more expensive after the upgrade which would be ok to, has a good setting. (Way leading into hotel, driveway could also be fixed up to make a better first impression)

Yes, the wifi is only in the reception and pool area, yes the bathroom is not very modern, but I think these people forget that they are visiting an island, and that presents some challenges. So it's not all perfect, but it was all how I expected it to be (if not better). Beautiful vegetation all around !

Review 41：Our original reservation was for the Standars bungalow. We could only sleep there one night as the bathroom was fully moulded, trickering my asthma symptomps straight away. They offered us to change for another Standard bungalow. We went to see two of them - same situation in both of them, full of mould. The management offered an upgrade to a bungalow made with different materials (and therefore not mouldy) but we had to pay extra, despite the fact this was not our fault. We would have checked out straight away, but we were there with a group, so couldn't. Very bad managament and poor handling of the situation, as the resort was not fully booked with plenty of availability.

It is a very welcoming environment with attentive and friendly staff, extremely helpful in orienting us to the island of Lanta. We were able to rent a scooter from the hotel to travel around the island; Nakara is in a great spot as it is only a short scooter ride away from Saladan town, but remote enough to feel like you can escape the hustle and bustle of the roads and the main streets. We could wake up and see the ocean from our little beach bungalow every morning, and the beach was wonderfully relaxing.

The swimming pool children's play area is directly next to the restaurant meaning that it's impossible to enjoy a meal or drink without the sound of screaming children. A lot of the restaurant staff seem very disinterested, staring at their phones... The breakfast buffet as many people have commented is quite bad. there is not enough shade in the restaurant area in either morning or afternoon hours.

Restaurant and services are very expensive, they don't applay thai prices but norwegian ... As there are many around. The staff is very nice but they come all from Philippines, so the thai feeling is missing.

No vibe in the evening time for younger couples.

Review 110：This is a nice resort, but definately for families with young children. We were a young couple and felt we needed to get away in the day, which was good as scooter hire is cheap at 2.50 baht a day, the roads are good and the southern part of the island is so much more prettier. There is life on long beach, but more of the budget style of places, non of which stay open very late. Which is a shame because the resort bar and facilities close really early too. In places the resort needs a bit of tlc and a touch up. Our bungalow was clean and sweet, but in desperate need of patching up some very large gaps like under the door and gaps in the floor, as se unwanted insects and Mosquitos easily enter. As do the gekos but we liked them. The beach isn't that great directly outside of the resort but to the right it gets nicer, softer sand and clearer sea. It was set in beautiful gardens and the pool was beautiful. The staff were all very nice and helpful. To sum it up it's a 3 star resort with not too many frills and I think for your money you could perhaps get nicer.

There were the candle type heaters under each serving unit but the staff didnt have them lit on any of the 3 mornings we went for breakfast. We're really easy and will eat just about anything, but I have to say If you like a cooked breakfast then this isnt the place to eat! The croissants on the other hand were delicious!

It was a beautiful place to relax and still only a short walk to some really nice bars on the beach front. The bungalows were roomy, the pool was superb and the staff were very welcoming. Review 133：The safety was terrible, we had a fire in our ac, could have died all ofus. No fire alarm, no extinguisher in the room and no personnel to talkto at 3 am when the fire took place. I woke up by the smoke, and we hadto rush out and seek for a fire extinguisher and try to extinguish thefire ourselves. W then had to sleep by the pool for two hours, beforesomeone came and gave us a new room. We didn't get any compensationat all. Really the worst service I have had in my whole life. We leftthe hotel and our holiday with a feeling of not being respected. Wouldnot recommend anybody to go there.

Review 137：Booked this hotel for the new years celebrations because of itslocation. I already read some bad reviews about this place but washoping for the best. Unfortunately, the reviews pretty much told thestory. This hotel is on its last legs; rooms are in shabby condition,water from tap and shower is yellowish/brown with strange odor. NoInternet or mobile reception in most rooms. There is no telephone in theroom to reach the reception so you must make the track all the way down.Once down at reception you would be luckily to get any sort of answer orsolution to your problem, that is if there is actually anybody there tolisten to you.Compulsory breakfast consisted of four different types of eggs: omelet, fried egg, scrambled egg and hard boiled egg. If your lucky they will thrown in sone fried rice and a some salad. In general it seemed to me that the owner was trying to milk as much from this place (probably because of it location) by only providing the very minimum of service and repair. I would say the standard of this hotel is comparable to a low budget hostel and the price of +-100$ per night is daylight robbery!

Ilike this concept as you get your own private space. We stayed in"superior" bungalow which was about 200m from the sea shore.Room is a bit outdated and first few days we had problems with hotwater, but than we found how to reset the water heating unit and coulduse hot water without any problems. In my booking breakfast was notincluded, but upon checkin reception informed that breakfast isincluded, thus it was pleasant surprise. We tried to eat for lunch anddinner in the hotel restaurant but didn't find it as good one. Weate in Saladan or in Thai Cat located on Long beach. In general we likedthis place due to its location, value and service. Special thanks toreceptionist Ms. Mirtja (if I'm not mistaken in spelling)

Review 141：Room was dirty and smelly, water was yellow. Door was locked using apadlock, balcony shared with adjoining bungalow. Big gap in betweensliding doors so lots of insect bites in the night. No wifi in room,only in lobby. Drinks expensive at resort. Poor communication by staffre New Year's Eve celebrations- nobody had advised us that we neededto reserve a table despite asking reception staff twice if try had anyinformation about the gala dinner. When we arrived they took 15 minutesto find a spare table which we couldn't see the entertainment and weasked a manager do we go to the bar for drinks, he replied no I will getthem for you do we placed our order and 20 minutes later we still had nodrinks. We went to a bat along the beach called Ozone and spent theevening there instead and had a great nye Jo thanks to Nakara.
