Review 1：From section E to the beach it is a loooong way Unstable and slow WiFi But they are vey at changing % (10 + 7) + 3 % for paying with Visa at the hotel's TourCenter!!! An OK resort, but not better!

Review 2：The women at the reception weren't very helpful nor friendly. We also got a very bad room with broken air conditioner, we got soap replacement once in 3-4 days and only after requesting. The TV was very old. etc. etc.

Review 4：No hot water for 2 days . Air conditioner didn't work for half day . Poor customer service , one employee very rude and even hostile . Still waiting for booking.com to refund my 2nd night there for encountering a hostile employee . Customer service promised a response in 24 hrs , never got it .

Review 5：Unfriendly staff not ready to help. Iin 5 days they forgot to bring new bathroom towels twice, we needed to ask to repair the warderobe closet doors, etc. The only bar at beach closes at 9.00 p.m. Internet wi-fi very poor - we needed to change passwords several times a day, many times were not able to connect.

Review 8：Very big property, though it was quite peaceful. Good location not too far from the main arrival pier (don't be fooled by taxi drivers, a tuktuk is 100baht only) The hotel has two nice pools with a bar and restaurant and they've got a lovely restaurant at the beach. Very good food, value for money. If you stay near the entrance of the hotel it's a short 10min walk to the beach, but you can get hotel staff to take you there too. Lots of restaurants nearby. Friendly staff.

Review 9：Staff were not very helpful asked for a taxi and got a beach towel don't now how they made he link. Constant issue with wifi for the room having to get a new code everyday. Shower tempreture control couldn't get the right temperature it was either to hot or to cold water. On our last day the water out of the taps was coming out brown which I reported as checked out.

Breakfast was a buffet only when there were a lot of people staying ..getting a simple muesli, fruit and yoghurt was difficult !! Was told there was no muesli twice only to find out that when my friend went for breakfast 10 minutes after me they had muesli not he end of the world but very annoying to be lied to.

Review 17：Staffs are difficult to communicate in English. Hundreds of mosquitos first enter the room and must keep the doors close anytime to prevent more mosquitos to enter the rooms from the garden. Terrible experience.

Review 18：The staff were most unhelpful . They did not have any coffee and tea making facilties in the room a standard fare in most hotels these days . We couldn't charge our handphones and the whole hotel claimed not to have an adapter something unbelievable for a hotel of this standard.Staff were most unhelpful and didnt do anything to help

Review 24：Our superior room faced onto main road - loud music on til 2/3am 5 days a week at bar across road. Front desk staff said they knew it was a problem, their response was 'but its not every night'. Unhelpful front desk staff - wouldn't book red snapper restaurant for us when we asked if they could assist in calling. Response was 'No we can't do that, you can do it' Not bad resort but expect a lot more for what you pay - we did go at peak season.

Review 25：Our pool area (by block E) very clean with friendly and helpful staff, room cleaning great, good size rooms, Nice location on the beach with many restaurants. Some of the garden areas are beautiful and some do need updating as look quite messy.

Review 26：Resort has very high potential but there is an element of neglect that unfortunately renders it not so nice. Gardens can be batter maintained. Several dangerous things around the pool especially for children. Staff premises very shabby. If management does not intend to provide better facilities at least hord them not to be seen by hotel residents. When works are in progress do cover up the area with boards rather than leaving all in the open and not a good sight at all. At night keep an english speaking receptionist. In short management is too lazy in maintaining a proper resort to a high standard....

Review 30：Wifi is really bad. I mean really bad. And the staff admits it's aproblem. The hotel lacks attention to detail --- there were cracks inthe tiles of our bathroom wall, the bathroom door was cracked and thelock was uneven too. They shut off lights in the dining area promptly at1030 as a way to shoo customers out. The staff was rude to us when wetalked to them about the wifi problem. We ended up switching hotels. Thetour desk was hard to communicate with in English and was very quick torecommend one or the other tour operator over the other. While overallthe hotel was decent, it was not value for the money we were paying(upwards of $230)

Review 31：The location on Khlong Dao beach is actually really good. The beach isamazing, super clean, really long and good for family fun. The rooms arelarge and spacious. This hotel could be so much more if they invested alittle more in the landscaping, little details in the rooms and upgradedtheir wifi infrastructure.

Review 32：1 out of 5 of the reception desk workers spoke english. There did not have hot water in the room. It took them 3 hours to triple check (after several call) that there would not be hot water at all in the room. Finally the upgrade us to another room at 11:00 pm.

Review 39：Lanta Resort has all the facilities one needs: large clean rooms, huge swimming pool great for both swimming and for playing around with kids, snack bar near the swimming pool, within walking distance from the beach, local market, 7/11, restaurants. For going to Sala Dan or Old City one needs either a tuk-tuk or can rent a scooter/moped. The breakfast was rich with lots of options. Staff is nice and always tries to help you out. They are very flexible.

Review 40：Bed very firm and pillows much to firm resulting in a poor nights sleep. Some of the furnishings could benefit from some updating. Mosquitoes a problem everywhere not just in the hotel and grounds

Review 95：1. They gave us a room with broken air-conditioning (plus the room smelt musty and old). We waited an hour for the air-conditioning to kick in, then called reception to tell them it wasn't working. They told us to wait. We waited. Still no air-conditioning and 35 degrees in the room. They sent someone up and he said that it was working. Well, it was surely blowing air out the thing, but it was not cold air. I went to reception insisted on another room. Reluctantly they agreed. However, same story - no air-conditioning and with 37 degrees Celsius in that room, we wanted air- conditioning. It was cooler on the balcony! They told us to wait 20 mins for the room to cool down. We did this. Then they told us to wait some more. My patience was growing thin... So back to reception where they told us all rooms were sold out. This was not true as there was hardly anyone on the resort. Then suddenly we magically got a room with pool access... Lovely. The air-conditioning worked and we were happier. However, this whole process wasted 3 hours of our afternoon. If the reception had just been honest in the first place it would have been better. The staff should go on an English course, and learn to be a bit more customer focused. Hopefully this review will help towards that!2. The beach restaurant was closed and there were renovations going on. It didn't disturb our stay, but they should have told us (and not after we paid!). 3. They never replied when we made the booking and asked how to get to the hotel. Mind you, neither did Booking.com. 4. There was no buffet breakfast for the first two days of our stay (as expected), only on the third day did we have a choice (when a busload of a big group had booked in). They might have mentioned that.

Review 97：Perhaps it was because we were there in April, but the resort felt as ifwas closing down. All beach side facilities were closed. No chairs orumbrellas were set up on the beach and the chairs were dirty. Therestaurant felt more like a mess hall. The resort was clean, but lackedatmosphere. The staff were friendly, but not much help other than beingable to check us in and out. Would not recommend it.

Review 98：The staff was friendly but the could be a little bit more polite. If youwant to get better prices for cabs, tuk-tuks and ferrys or speedboats,don't get them at the hotel, just walk a few blocks down the street(heading downtown) and go to one of the agencies there. Breakfast wasnot so great.

Review 99：The hotel has a very large common pool and also two private pools thathave direct access to certain rooms. We stayed in a room that had accessto the private pool and it was perfect. There room was very clean. Ifyou stay at this hotel you must go to Thai Cat, a restaurant that isnext to the hotel on the beach. The food there was amazing, the best wehad in Thailand.

Review 117：We booked a superior room which was outside of the resort, way too expensive for the value. We have upgraded to deluxe room after we saw it. That room was okay, enough room but the bed linen seemed used. Anayway we took it. We didnt have warm water for one evening and the staff tried to fix it. After hours it worked. However the day later we had no water at all. They again fixed it but it was annoying. Staff not friendly. Not enough recliners at the beach, so most people reserved them early in the morning, why not add a few? Walking distance room to beach ca. 300m. In general the hotel offers not enough at that price. We paid less for the Le Meridien in Khao Lak and wow, what a difference.

Review 120：The quality of the cleaning services was variable - we did not alwayshave the room cleaned and on one occasion the towels were taken away butnot replaced so we had none! The hotel part of the resort was a longwalk from the beach - this was fine for us but might cause a problem forless mobile guests. The decor was dated and could do with a revamp -this is a minor point though as everything was generally clean and ingood working order. We were not able to find a free sunlounger at allduring the 5 day stay as there was a very strong culture of other guestsgetting up very early in the morning and reserving places with towels.
