Review 1：Location in the centre of White Sands Beach. Beach directly across the road from the hotel. Good swimming pool. Seafood restaurants very close by. I have stayed both the hillside rooms and the beach side rooms and would recommend the hillside room as the rooms are more updated with better showers and the rooms look slightly bigger.

Review 4：We stayed at the newer location across the road from the beach and the rooms are great. The older portion on the beach has smaller rooms and more noise.

Review 9：we stayed at the seaside, in a nice little room with a cozy balcony close to the beach. A little old interior but well maintained and clean. It is situated close to restaurants and bars on white sand but still relaxing. The staff was so nice and welcoming and we will definitely stay here the next time we go to koh chang:) we payed 7800 baht for 6 nights so you get a lot value for money here:)

Review 12：The room is outdated especially the bathroom. We had a visitor in the night (probably a lizard) which came in through the bathroom drain pipe as the grate had been removed but it wasn't a major issue for us as it was harmless. There was very poor Wifi connection in that part of the building. The swimming pool was always cloudy and by day 4 the colour had turned from blue to green. Several people came to the pool and left when they saw the state of the pool. We alerted the concierge and he had it sorted my the next day.

Review 13：Our standard double room was practically on the sandy beach. It was in close proximity to Thor's, our favourite restaurant. We were not disturbed by any noise in that side of the building. There was a handy shop to get drinks and snacks. The pool area was nice and shady. Towels were available. Despite having to ask to have rooms cleaned every day we were supplied with complimentary bottles of water. Really liked the small private balcony where we sat and had drinks. The staff were helpful.

Review 14：There were a few very small ants in the room, attracted by some food (lollies or biscuits).

Review 15：The beach is just across the road, there is a lovely swimming pool at the back of the hotel with nice lounge chairs and towels were provided at the pool. The room was spacious and clean and 2 free bottles of water were provided every day. The room had a nice balcony.

Review 17：This hotel is suitable for those who expect comfortable and convenient stay, not the luxurious stay. It is worth for your money because it is not far from the beach, the eating places and convenient shops.

Review 18：I didn't sleep well at the first night because the ventilation fan above the bed is noisy. The staff closed the fan when I asked the next day morning.

Review 19：The staff is very nice. We ordered two rooms in the hill side. The rooms are very good, new, clean with reasonable price. I only ordered the rooms for 3 nights. When I asked for extra 4 nights, the staff give me a discount.

Review 22：When I made the booking, I was not made aware that I'd be staying in an additional property across the street from the advertised building. The building I stayed in was run down and not as clean or kept up. It was in some disrepair. Additionally, when we checked in the room they gave us didn't have operational air conditioning. We changed rooms, but the new room had mosquitos, small fruit flies, and no hot water. Even the remote control for the television was broken. I was disappointed and decided to leave for another hotel.

Review 44：The seaside rooms are in the original part of the Alina Grande building therefore they have a dark wood decor inside, very old TVs, I thought mine was going to catch fire and the beds were hard as rocks but despite this I would stay here again, especially if traveling on a tight budget. This hotel offers great value and location, especially for a seaside hotel. The rooms were clean and comfortable, just very old and dated.

Review 45：At first I booked a Seaside room, there are two separate buildings for the Alina. The seaside rooms are older then there newer building which is not ocean side however I like these rooms more. The rooms in the newer building are larger and brighter which I found to be more comfortable. The swimming pool is beautiful and if you are concerned about the night club music just ask for a room on the opposite side of the building and you will sleep just fine.

Review 46：While the food at thor's restaurant on the beach was fine we all got food poisoning from two other nearby restaurants.

Review 47：The location just across the road from the beach was fine and the beach was pleasant with chairs for rent under a shade tree and shallow clear water far ouy into the sea eg Hich was great for the kids to play in. The pool was nice as well. Room was comfortable and had a big fridge plus minimart downstairs for drinks and snacks. The staff were very courteous and helpful. They booked an elephant camp for us one morning and the housekeeping and front desk staff were quick to respond to requests- fixing a leaking aircon unit immediately upon reporting it and coming to change the bedding in the evening when our son had been sick and soiled the sheets. We were worried it might be loud at night with bars nearby but we couldnt hear the noise at all on our side of the hotel.

Review 48：Ants... they were everywhere!!! In the bed, on the walls, on the bedside table, on the floors. The tv only had one non-news channel. The restaurant next door played loud music until midnight or later every night. The bath had mold and everything seemed quite old.

Review 49：The restaurant next door was yummy. The view from the porch was great. There was a 15ft walk from my room to the white sand beach. Lots of food, shops, and street vendors were close.
