Reviews for Cowboy Heaven Cabins

Review 1:Nothing

Review 2:This was a terrific place to stay. The view from 8,000+ feet was spectacular. Sitting in the private hot tub on the porch while enjoying the mountain view was very memorable.

Review 3:My wife and I were extremely disappointed with our stay and feel like it was a ripoff since we paid $318 per night and it was not even the peak of the summer season. Here are our primary complaints:1. The refrigerator was very warm when we arrived, so the food and beverages we brought with us were in danger of either spoiling or remaining undrinkable until the following day.2. The internet was a total ripoff. Considering we were paying $318 per night, internet access should be complimentary. Instead they charge $10 per day for each computer/device that wants to connect. In this day and age, that fee is unconscionable. This was not disclosed when we booked the cabin.3. We were mandated by the "house rules" to put an inordinate amount of chlorine in the spa, which made is a chemical bath and caused our skin to get very dry. This was also ridiculous considering the spa had already been completely drained and all water replaced before we arrived. Plus, it turns out the maintenance crew drains the whole spa after each guest's stay anyway, so the mandate seemed out of line.4. The television was totally old school -- an ancient, low resolution, small tube TV instead an LCD display. Given how inexpensive LCD displays are in this era, the least they could have done was to provide a decent TV considering how much we were paying to stay there.5. The bathrooms were third class considering how much we paid for staying there. It was essentially on par with Motel 6 and smelled moldy.6. The rug in the entry way--i.e., as soon as you walk in the cabin--is frayed with curled edges, which means we tripped on it every time we walked by it. Frankly, it just plain dangerous and a liability since someone could really get hurt.7. There's no front door privacy. If someone walks on the patio, they can see inside the entire cabin--meaning safety is compromised. There is no window covering for the door.8.

Review 4:We liked the view from the back patio, where we could enjoy looking at the mountains.

Review 5:The master bed was rock hard. Wish the moonlight lodge was open for breakfast

Review 6:Loved the scenery at the cabin. The amenities were great. Hot tub was perfect.

Review 7:The master bed was too hard for our taste. For others, it might have been perfect. We got lost getting to the check-in location. We never could get the Big Sky staff to give us a map of the resort. We were just told to follow the "well marked" signs.

Review 8:We had an incredible panoramic view of gorgeous Montana mountains from our front porch and hot tub. The cabin was lovely and well appointed.

Review 9:cabins were filthy, TV nor phone worked and staff gave wrong directions to cabin. (circled location for wrong cabin number 7 which was being rented by another family) had to drive around other row to determine ours. Initially, took 45 mins to check in, location to check in was closed after being given instructions where to go. Maintenance man saw us and gave us correct check in location. Told staff at check out and no compensation was offered by management.

Review 10:the scenery was beauiful and restaurant at Big Sky was good.

Review 11:At high up 7600 ft, the view is awesome. I the log built cabin with modernized interior making it very comfortable. There many good trials nearby and other recreation activities such as horseback riding, white water rafting, etc.

Review 12:Didn't like that we didn't get to see the inside of the cabins. Although they looked great from outside.

Review 13:Loved the upgrade we got due to cabins being full. The mountain home was beautiful and more than what we imagined. Loved the place and hope to return next summer.

Review 14:It was a bit confusing to get to the cabin with several roads with the same name.

Review 15:Our cabin had everything we needed! The staff was incredibly responsive to our requests and we enjoyed our stay very much.

Review 16:We were suppose to have a pull out sofa, but had a triple bunk bed instead. We had to pull the bottom bunk mattress to the living room for one night when there were 6 of us there. This would be OK for a familiy with kids, but we were all adults.

Review 17:The Moonlight lodge was great. We ate dinner there and it was very good, but not cheap. We walked down to the lodge several times. The walk up was a killer, but we made it. I would definitely go back to Cowboy Heaven Cabins.

Review 18:A recliner chair would be nice. The chairs are not that comfortable. And it needs a pair of cooking shears. Everything else was perfect. Thank you.

Review 19:This is absolutely the best place I have ever stayed and I travel all over the world. The view was fabulous, the cabin veery cute and well stocked. The hot tub made the whole stay. To be able to sit out every night and look at the stars and the valley below. I did not want to leave.

Review 20:Great facility and Big Sky is wonderful I suspect the prices may be in line with Big Sky but probably fairly expensive overall

Review 21:Could be cleaner on first arrival.

Review 22:Close to heaven as you can get. Great facilities. Amazing views.

Review 23:On mountain location Amazing views

Review 24:No telephone due to lightning strike. Nobody picked up our garbage as requested.

Review 25:We will be back. Very private and relaxing.

Review 26:very quaint and homey
