Review 1：Air conditioning in room was very loud and not so efficient. Would have preferred a fan. Very difficult to get a towel for the beach ... had to use the same one for 4 days despite repeated requests for a new one.

Review 8：A piece of heaven! We booked one of the private villas: beautiful! I'm sure the hotel rooms are just as lovely! Less than 100m from our villa was the beautiful klong prao beach. The pool made a refreshing change to the beach. Breakfast was vast, with lots of options (both Asian & western). Staff were very attentive, the manager herself was often around, talking to guests. Their scooter hire options are very reasonable. We had a minor hiccup at the restaurant which we raised w management, it was dealt w immediately & resulted in the bill being wiped. The surroundings & rooms are well looked after, the staff who cleaned our room left it beautiful w freshly made treats each day! We loved it, pure relaxation. So much so we extended our stay from 5 to 9 nights!

Review 9：The poor air conditioning. Room was always too hot. Bed too hard. The shower water pressure was poor. Wifi was terrible always jumping on and off. Food and drink prices were way to high and then charges were added on top. Spa prices also too expensive. No gym or fitness facilities. Hotel location not near anything. (Transport needed)

Review 15：NO DOOR FOR THE RESTROOMS- a problem for us, we used the lobby restrooms instead. food and drinks at the hotel are double or more the regular prices around the island. the hotel is right on the beach, but because of the tide its not a good beach for swimming during the day. breakfast variety is not very rich.

The beach was nice but I did find a piece of broken glass so be careful, even though in general everything was just great !

Review 20：We was traveling with our 8 month old child ... He became sick after the first out of ten nights ! We went to an Privat clinic there but they couldn't help so we decided to leave Koh Chang to go back to Rayong to the Int hospital which my wife knows we was trying to get our money back from the hotel or at least a part of it but for some reason it wouldn't work so to me the management of the hotel is a failure.... Thanks a lot again

Review 21：The showers were either hot or cold, there wasn't ever a good temperature that lasted over a minute. Internet was in and out at times and was quite slow but if you weren't working it wasn't slow enough to be an issue.

Review 22：All of the staff was so friendly and helpful. Everyone that we came into contact with from the grounds help to the front desk was so kind. The resort is newer and has a beautiful modern element. We enjoyed the quick walk to the beach!

Review 24：Upon the arrival, I forgot my printed voucher and the front desk asked me to send the voucher to their email even though I showed the voucher on my mobile and she was not very friendly. no smile at all! everytime I connect wi-fi, I have to enter the password which is very long.

We upgraded to the Vila but not sure worth the extra money (almost twice the price) Poor selection of DVDs and the ones that are available mostly don't work. We had ants in our room but they were friendly and once we got to know them were OK

Review 70：No indoor bar or dining. Temperature can be extreme. Local village more than 10 km away and taxi back late evening can be difficult. Staff do not understand English. There are superior beaches around the world.

Oh yeah and some creep stole my flip flops I know its not the hotels faults but I just wanted to vent.. I mean its Thailand a pair of flip flops costs nothing why steal my heavily used ones? Review 83：1). Got food poisoning on the second day after having eaten twice and only from the hotel's room service. No apology from the staff or hotel management. No assistance or compensation offered. 2). This hotel does not operate to international hospitality standards. our room service trays were left uncleared outside our room for 2 days. Staff would never offer assistance or enquire about satisfaction (at the pool, at the restaurant, etc.) 3) I was asked to leave a "deposit" upon arrival to guarantee for the room charges. No problem with that. However on check-out, I wanted to use a different method of payment, to be be told that this is not possible as my credit card (used at check-in) was debited with the full amount, and that refund is not possible. On that occasion again, no apology, no opportunity to speak to a manager, no interest from the staff into the problem. Conclusion: A boutique-type hôtel that wants to be modern but that does not have style. Average facilities, average service, catering to guests with average expectations, however priced like a branded 5-star hotel. Regards.

Review 87：Great place to stay (we stayed 12 days) Great people Special thanks to "THOR" the manager always on the deck and helpful. The rooms are large and the bathroom is awesome The atmosphere is great if you want to relax. The pool perfect for relaxing and intensive swimming also. The modern design so special, we really enjoyed it. Much better than the ugly Amari resort just on the same beach. The beach is huge and if you walk, you can find nice place to swim. For food there are plenty of small restaurants close to the hotel either on the beach or within a 15 minutes walking distance (K-TCulinary for instance). Anyway ask to THOR he will be of good advise. For a good expresso coffe go to white sand beach at the 15 Plams. We will definitely come back.

Review 88：The cushion of the sitting bank in the balcony was strange blown up with water and a bit old and strange. Small TV Screen in Comparison with the Room. The Beach is not nice with many rocks.

Review 97：the TV in the guest room is a bit too small; the beach right in front of the hotel is covered with rocks and not ideal for swimming

Review 99：In the bathroom the shower lacks pressure. Our main issue was with the manager. He just lacks sincerity, friendliness and charm one would expect from this sort of establishment. Certainly this is an individual that should not be working in the hospitality business. Other negatives were: - The price of drinks at the poolside bar – stupid prices. - Despite a hotel notice by the pool to keep noise down and avoid playing loud music, the hotel nevertheless organised a karaoke party one night that didn't end until 2300. Very rude towards guests. - While this is a supposed to be a non-smoking resort, several guests were smoking by the pool and in the pool! No staff member said a word to them. - This resort is quite far from the main road. I didn't measure it but at least half a kilometre.

Review 100：This is more of a villa than a luxurious resort. While some people will enjoy the rustic look and feel, in a nutshell it is overpriced for what it offers and isn't in the same league as its neighbour - The Amari. The rooms are nice, slightly small and finished with a plaster finish on both the walls and ceiling. It might work for some people but a tile or wooden look in the room would be much better. Also good wi-fi. Breakfast is good, offering both Western & Thai food and served in the restaurant overlooking the pool. We also stayed at the Amari right before our stay here and we much preferred it. It's a bit grander but is much better value at a similar price.
