Review 1：Price is far too high for what you get. Bathroom very outdated. Also wooden staircase was not cleaned once while I was there. Sand and dust. It would take little time to give it a sweep. Manager is clearly not very active.

Review 5：Check in was unwelcoming. We were asked to pay for our stay upfront because it is too difficult to manage asking people to pay on checkout! This gave a sense that they have had issues with people leaving without paying-not the hotel I wanted to be in. Check in felt like the staff were herding sheep. We were abruptly told to "wait a minute" because they were busy. Before getting to our room, the manager sent his side kick to check the room was ok-did they not trust their cleaning staff to do that. 10 minutes later, the boy returned and said it was ok. We entered the room to find the bathroom was soaked-maybe the boy had washed it down just then! The "manager" was probably the last person I'd want as front of house staff if I was working in hospitality. Every time we saw him he asked "is everything ok? No problems?" Which made us feel like he was expecting a complaint. When we were checking in there was an existing customer complaining about something.Breakfast was average but when I asked for boiled eggs one morning because the fried eggs were black, I was given inedible eggs which were not fully cooked!Our "sea view" looked out on to wasteland and the main road. Yes, you could see the sea but it was in the distance-see photos of concrete balcony.The pool was in a very strange location-visible from the main road and reception area (you walked through reception to get to it) and not very big so 10 people around it made it feel very busy!The hotel is on the main road next to an Irish pub, opposite a German restaurant and 400m away from loud "lady bars". If you are looking for a relaxing, quiet and comfortable break then I'd advise you to look elsewhere on the island as we heard very good reports about Koh Chang from others. Sadly, we won't be rushing back.This may sound like a long rant-I'm not usually one to compilation but feel really disheartened by our stay at Keeree Ele.

Review 26：The room was very dusty, and did not get better after daily room cleaning. The elevator was very dirty and looks like london underground facilities and it will not get cleaned after we told them even as we show the staff the elevator. The breakfast was medioker. The hotel looks nice at pictures but was not in the reality. 5 years without service and repairs has takes it toll. The hotel is situated close to the gogobar area so if that you want it is the right place.

Review 27：Breakfast variety isn't the greatest & would be better if fewer items were cooked fresh but more frequently. Sun beds would be more comfy if had padding, although staff are happy to give extra towels for comfort.

Review 28：Staff were lovely. Rooms were comfortable with good air con. Daily room cleaning with fresh towels and complimentary water was great. Pool was nice. Less than £1 in a taxi to get to the centre of White Sands beach. Next door to a couple of good pubs, Paddy's Palms & The White Elephant.

Review 31：This hotel provides you with clean white towels everyday but if you get them stained anyway they charge you £6 per towel per night.the breakfast was freezing cold every morning and with ants running all over the breakfast stuff,the shower gave you hot water for about 30 seconds then went cold but then came back hotter than a kettle. My wife hid her jewelry away in the room but realised the cleaners had been looking through it the only reason we knew this was because the had changed the time on it to local time and I hadn't done neither had my wife when I approached the manager I more a less accused me of lying so sadly I would never return to this hotel there is much nicer hotels down by the beach avoid this one if at possible

Review 67：I very liked my days here. The location is amazing, close to the white sand beach, the shops, the restaurants and the bars (for who likes nightlife). The room (in the second floor) was big and comfortable and has a balcony. In the structure there is a nice swimming pool open till late and wi-fi everywhere.

Review 71：The hotel has a bad location. The photos make it appear like it is near the beach but all you see is a view of the road and the shops across the road. There is only a small vantage point of the sea from select rooms on the top floor. I booked a sea view room but all I got was a room with a view of the vines from the tree in front of the room and the road and shops through slits in the vines. Despite this, the staff was friendly enough to relocate me into a better room which had a bit of a sea view but nothing like the photos represent.Wifi is almost non-existent from the room. You need to go to the lobby.Breakfast is atrocious. On all 5 mornings I was here the hot items on the breakfast buffet needed to be heated up in the microwave, and that includes the eggs which could easily have been 3 days old. It was the same thing every morning. Cold food. It appears they were trying to conserve electricity by not turning on the heating elements on the bain Marie's until it got a bit busier. It does not appear they cook breakfast on site. I requested fresh eggs because heating up eggs is entirely unnatural for me but they were unable to.The pool deck is not well attended. Empty drink bottles and wrappers from food can sit around all day on the chairs and tables and the ant's are everywhere. This does not seem to motivate staff to keep the place clean.Given that this is a resort hotel on an island that is surrounded by water, this hotel is poorly positioned. You either need to walk a solid 10-15 minutes to get to the closest part of the beach or jump in a baht bus if you don't want to walk to the beach on a hot, sticky day when the sun is bearing down on you. There are some noisy clubs nearby with rowdy bar girls calling out to passing cars. The sound of trucks and traffic in the morning ruins the pleasant, relaxed holiday vibe you'd expect to have at an exotic island like Ko Chang.The price for the hotel is expensive for what you get.

Review 72：The beds were comfortable and the air conditioning very quiet and effective. This hotels best and only positive aspect is the rooms themselves. The pool was quite nice and a good comfortable temperature. Staff is friendly but read the negative below.

Electrical kettle and drier are avsilable on request.....but they dont tell you this ....we came to know on last day. Short if employees.....difficult for them to cater breakfast if everyone comes together.....go early for breakfast. Some ants arount ion sofas but its nesr to a rsinforedt and hence explainable.

The beach is quite a walk away - the hotel is actually on a small hill, so no beach in front and also no view to the sea as it's behind the road. The staff wasn't always nice, sometimes there weren't' enough towels. The hotel itself is already quite worn out.

Review 87：The breakfast was disappointing, and the same every day. We stayed a week and I started to go out for breakfast, it was worth paying for omelette, fresh orange juice, and tea of choice. The best rooms, which we also payed for, were facing the street and bars, too noisy! We had to move to a room away from the road, lower standard, although no money back. It is quite a bit to walk before reaching the beach!, along a very busy street, not much of a peacefull stroll.

Review 111：We booked the cheapest category as we usually do. Pay attention there is no safety box and hair dryer in the room. Lack of furniture - no chairs, only one shoulder hanger in the room, so your clothes you will mostly keep in the luggage bag. The bathroom was exremily dated. I don't mind things simple but it's not even neat. Swimming pool wasn't cleaned properly, so we wasn't dare to try it/ I don't. Breakfast included is very badly cooked, tea bags were dirty (I suspect they are left here in the rain and wind, nobody cares to replace). The toilet is very weak and clogged after one day use only. Pillow are hard and not comfortable to sleep, my husband removed it at all. Location is quite far to walk for a nice beach, it's on the far end of the White Sand Beach area.

Review 119：The staff were just wonderful, and were both helpful and friendly. The rooms are lovely and spacious with comfy beds, and great private balconies. Very quiet. Shops/restaurants/beach just a few minutes down the road. The infinity swimming pool was lovely, but doesn't get too much sun plus the area is pretty small so often no beds available (however, there are no mattresses so very hard). Towels are however available to be taken down to the beach, which is a 5 minute walk away Highly recommended!

Review 120：1. Loctation - unlike on the map the hotel is located on another side of the road versus the beach. Distance from the public beach that you can access is about 0,5 km down the road2. Breakfast - probably the worst and poorest brakfast I have ever seen in any hotel in the world 3. Swimmimng pool is not really adequate for swimming, it's just roughly 4 by 5 meters, so if you're lucky you can only sit there, normally it's pretty crowded though 4. Lot of ants everywhere in the room 5. No wifi in the room, although wifi in the lobby is quite ok 6. In general the hotel is old and looks like it needs to be urgently renovated

Review 123：The managers Sawitree & Sam were excellent, plenty of advice on what to do and where to go, they had only just started at the hotel but you could already see improvements being made. The bedroom was nice and spacious. The pool was most welcome after a hot day. Close to Shops and restaurants.
