Review 1：it was dirty,from reception to room.we found a live cockroach in the bathroom;we were transferred to another room where we found a syringe with needle attached on the floor.we had to cancel our entire stay. we were not offered any compensation .

Review 3：The toilet was stopped up overnight and there was only one staff member on duty,so he was unable to help..as he was very busy checking in guests..fortunately,we were next to the lobby where there was a bathroom,in an emergency.they gave us a 10% discount,which in retrospect, wasn't really sufficient.

Review 7：No refrigerator or microwave in room. Bugs. The room had not been cleaned properly so they gave me another which was ok. They gave the same 1st. room to another guest who had the same complaint.

Review 8：We paid our room before visiting it then we discovered that it was not clean, it smelled like mould, AC deficient, window sealed so no fresh air ever penetrated the room which is totally unhealty, the carpet of the corridor and the lift were really dirty. We went down to the lobby to cancel our room immediately but after more than a month now we have never been reimbursed! Just not fair. If you want something clean and healty please stay away.

Review 12：Felt very uncomfortable going into and out our room. The floors and carpets were disgusting. Was told by housekeeper that our room had been cleaned while we were out. No towels in room, unmade beds and trash can NOT emptied is what we found.

First standard room had a broken toilet and building works within 2m of the door. Second room had only been partially cleaned - missing pillow cases, towels etc

Review 17：The pet policy should allow 2 pets not just 1. I had to leave the hotel because I have two pets under the maximum weight limit of 80 lbs. The rates should be lower on the standard rooms without mini fridge and microwave. La Quinta offer a standard room with micro and fridge for a difference in rate which includes breakfast

Review 18：Hats off to the staff, front desk and the cleaning crew. The cleaning crew did an excellent job on the rooms. I was in four different rooms and there was nothing to complain about. Front Desk was also very polite and business like.

Review 19：Mattress felt like they just threw one of those 2" thick memory foam toppers on it. Outlet next to bed was hooked to light switch, and only worked when ceiling light was on.

Review 36：The hotel although at first trys to give the impression that it is a "Red Roof PLUS" facility is in reality nothing more then a SLEEZY motel with a paint job ... Was not comfortable moving into our room - paid for 5 nights in advance in cash ... BEFORE I saw room - at first glance you would say that the room felt like a sleezy Las Vegas motel (or what you would imagine that to be like) although smoke free (you could smell the stale smell of cigarettes) slept only with a sheet as I did not even want the "blanket" to touch my body - woke up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom at was SHOCKED when I turned on the bathroom light - NOT one NOT 2 but so many ROACHES scattered at the light - just disgusting - went to management at after 3am in the morning and was met with utter indifference (as I am certain this is NIT the first time they have had this complaint) sadly left at 7 the next morning just to get out (and was shocked to find that although they refunded my remaining 4 nights they CHARGED ME for the night I "slept" in room #214 ... A terrible experience and by all means STAY AWAY !!!

Review 46：Right away when we entered the elevator we noticed how dirty it was. Floor was nasty. We asked for an extra blanket and some more pillows and they said no they didn't have any more. we needed extra towels and the maid flat out told us no. When they came in while we were gone to clean they took all of the dirty towels and wash clothes and only left us 2 towels and no wash clothes. The other guests late one night were yelling and cussing up and down the hallway. Needless to say we won't be returning to this Red Roof Inn.
